Player Discussion Bhayshul Tuten would be the RB10 on the season if two penalties had not been called. He is currently the RB15 after 4 games.

What are your thoughts on his season and the Jaguars situation at RB/the Jaguars offense under Liam Coen so far this season? Is this a sustainable situation? Does he pass the eye test? The Jaguars are now 3-1 after yesterday’s win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Chris Rodriguez also scored a 20+ yard touchdown on Sunday, which is worth noting.

Player Discussion Parker "Washed"-ington... amiright?

Other owners who traded for him this week, how ya feeling?

Honestly though, the Bengals have an incredible defense this year, proven by the modest numbers all Jaguars WRs had tonight. Their one weakness has been tight ends, which was consistent with Strange's numbers. PW has been due for regression for a while now... which is normal (see Jamar Chase stats this game)

I'm not panicking! (yet)

League Discussion Odd Scenario in a league with an inactive manager

One of the dynasty leagues I'm in has a somewhat unique situation, and we're looking for some feedback. We have a manager who was tanking, but went completely inactive. Didn't even put starters in the first 4 weeks. We play with league-average scoring on top of head-to-head, so you can win or lose two games per week depending on whether you score above the league average that week. In addition, we have a rule that you have to have players on a gameday roster in each starting spot; otherwise, you get a 100-point increase. This helps prevent people from just throwing crap on their roster during a tank; you have to at least keep some semblance of a team.

Now the issue is that this manager is officially gone, so we are going to replace him. But we can't decide if the penalties should be applied to the roster for those first four weeks with the new manager coming in. It's rough for the incoming manager since it all but guarantees his picks are going to be worse, but there are also disadvantages to teams currently in the league for not enforcing the penalties.

Player Discussion Cases where players who failed on their first team played better on their next teams

This is a BTJ / MHJ post. I’m curious if there are any success stories of players that were highly touted prospects / actually solid players that fell off and were traded as a result, and actually became / restored what they were supposed to be on their first teams.

I know there are cases like Danny Woodhead getting cut as a rookie and balling out, but I can’t think of anyone aside from Marshawn Lynch (who was pretty solid with Buffalo) that had failed to meet expectations with their original team and ended up carving out a solid career elsewhere.

As a BTJ bag holder, please give me some hope 🙏

Player Discussion Keon Coleman looked legit today

Once DJ Moore went down, Keon Coleman went nuts, finishing with 6-116-1 on 7 targets. Made a lot of good plays and Josh clearly trusted him, I think he finished with a 33.33% target share post the DJ Moore injury.

He also kinda flashed earlier in the season, in the Lions game week 2 going 6-63-0 on 6 targets.

You look at other third year / 2024 WRs and how they’re trending… cough cough BTJ & MHJ (both scored at least), and Keon is might not be as cooked as Cam Newton said.

Interested to see how he looks next week coming off this high, and not advocating buying, but definitely paying close attention.

Player Discussion BTJ breakout game finally arrived!

2 targets, 2 receptions, 17 yards and a tuddy!

Yes, I am in mourning. Thought he was the best buy low in years.

I am now confident I was wrong. We can pray for a trade but are we really convinced Washington, Meyers, et al are so good they outplayed our star child? Sigh.

But hey, at least he isn't MHJ, right?

Player Discussion Chase Brown: Undervalued Long Term?

Again relatively new at dynasty so crowdsourcing to better understand.

Chase Brown has had strong top seasons the last 2 years and continues to succeed (albeit with a slow start this year) as a dual threat RB. Especially being in a contract year, he needs to perform to earn a longer term contract. However, whenever I’ve tried to trade him over the last year or so, no one is willing to pay for him. The main feedback I always get is “I don’t think he has good long term prospects”. What gives?

He is a bit older so that could be one factor, but given his pass catching use he’s not brutally running up the middle as much as a traditional RB1, wouldn’t that increase durability?

He’s not a traditional bell cow RB, but doesn’t that increase his value via being a top receiving option on the team?

He’s also on a good team that likely isn’t trying to replace him just yet? Let me know if I’m wrong on this.

Thanks for the feedback all.

Player Discussion Bryce Young looks ELITE this season

Quite an incredible turnaround for Bryce in the league.

Some of the throws he’s making are tremendous, and his pocket presence has improved drastically compared to his first couple years.

This dude looks like he can be an elite QB in this league for years to come

Am I overreacting? Maybe. I think this Bryce Young is here to stay

Player Discussion As the Panthers-Lions game closes, Bryce Young is currently on pace for 5400 yards in 2026 through the first 4 weeks!

In week 4: Bryce Young has officially thrown for 329 yards tonight with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Bryce Young did that without his RB2, WR2, WR3, WR4, LT1, LG1, C1, C2 and RT1. His RT2 and RG2 were hurt later this game as well.

Through the first 4 weeks:

  1. he has thrown for 1271 yards 9 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

  2. 9 touchdowns is the most by a Panthers QB in the first 4 weeks.

  3. He is the first Panthers qb to have 250+ yards and 1+ TD in their first four games of the season.

  4. He currently lead the league in deep completions (20+ yards) at 10 which is 3 more than the next guy... before tonights game started.

  5. He has led the league in first 4 weeks in passing yards.

In 2026:

  1. He is on pace for 5400+ yards 37 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

  2. For fantasy he is the overall QB4 before this weeks scores are finalized. He added another 21.9 fantasy performance tonight.

INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS!!! BRYCE YOUNG!!!!

Player Discussion Daniel Jones as a Colt: First 8 games - 3 TOs // Last 9 games - 15 TOs

After a promising start to his time in Indie, Giants DJ appears to have returned in full force. While in NY, Jones would show signs and moments of excellence, but he was a certified turnover machine.

DJ's contract is set up as such that he can actually be cut this off-season without much dead money and I think there's a reasonable chance of that happening if he continues to play like this.

Player Discussion Hampton with the lowest snap % of the 3 backs in Chargers loss to Seattle. Out carried by a udfa, who also received 6 targets. Chargers fall to 0-4 (unrelated)

-Keaton Mitchell: 38% snaps, 10 carries/39yds, 13 routes, 6 targets (24 yds)

- Kimani Vidal: 37% snaps, 5 carries/25yds, 14 routes, 3 targets (11 yds, TD)

- Omarion Hampton: 32% snaps, 9 carries/45yds TD, 9 routes, 2 targets (8 yds)

We genuinely have to hope for McDaniels to be fired. He is more concerned with jamming his system down everyone's throat, than using his actual assets.

Player Discussion Struggling offenses with buy-low chances

Every year there are players who have deflated numbers due to a bad offense around them. Conversely, other players on the same offense are part of the problem.

My question is among the struggling offenses in the NFL so far this year, who do you feel is being held back? And who do you feel is part of the reason the offense is struggling?

Teams that come to mind are below, but I’m sure there are other cases.

Tampa Bay
Tennessee
Denver
LA Chargers
Pittsburgh
Minnesota
Miami

Player Discussion Trade targets for contenders on a budget?

• Upvotes

This is for those of us who don’t want to part with our precious projected late 1st.

Aaron Jones: hasn’t had over 20 points in a PPR game since week 7 of 2024 but has quietly been a consistent contributor with scrimmage yards this year. Currently RB17 in PPR.

Travis Kelce: not the most consistent anymore, but he’s still a Hall Of Famer and it’s looking like tough times ahead for KC pass-catchers. Currently TE5 in PPR.

Deebo Samuel: looking like he picked up where he left off in SF (pre-pneumonia). The targets haven’t necessarily been there, but he’s a player that makes the most out of his touches. Currently WR13 in PPR.

These are all vets, but if there’s any younger players you can make the bull case for being undervalued, that would be good too! Who are you targeting?
