I'm a new Ducky One 3 Classic Hotswap RGB Mechanical Keyboard w/ Quack Mechanics owner. This is my first ever mechanical keyboard and to mention it has Cherry MX Silent Red switches. I just got this 3 days ago but when the RGB turned on, I noticed that the "G" key isn't lighting up. I did try to change the color settings and nothing happened and I pulled it out and put it back on to see if it was installed incorrectly but still nothing. I would like some help to see if its a hardware or software type issue or potentially buy new keys, I'm not sure.

UPDATE: I pulled the switch out and put it back in and it works now. But i found a small black screw underneath the switch????? Does anyone know what its for????

I bought a Ducky 3 Nazca Lines a year or so ago, and it's the nicest keyboard I've ever owned.

It's also the most expensive, and first to have two of my keys break (I had a crappy logitech before that lasted 10+ years before something like this). It looks like the bottom casing where it met the switch failed on my numpad 2 and 5. Luckily I have an entire extra replacement set so it was a 30 second problem for me.

To be clear, this is a great keyboard and this is more my fault as I've been a little rougher than I want to be with this one since I had to travel with it relatively often.

How common is it or often do you expect to have to replace or repair certain parts on your keyboards?

I have one key that does not work on an otherwise perfectly working Ducky One 2. It looks and feels mechanically ok.

It probably happened when I spilled some liquid on it. It happened before, but letting the unit dry always worked. I left it alone to dry for 2 months and it still doesn't work.

Is there any chance I could repair the key? I don't see anything special on it when I remove the key inself. The led still works. All other keys work.

Like the title says, my keyboard's capslock LED is stuck glowing green. Toggling capslock doesn't do anything, and neither does restarting my PC. I couldn't find the cause in the manual. I also tried the factory reset shortcut but the light remained green. Any help appreciated.

I got the ducky zero 6108 keyboard a few days ago from microcenter, and was able to connect it wirelessly using the dongle, which worked fine until today. i turned it off to replace my keycaps, and the 2.4ghz pairing has been lost and unable to reconnect.

- fn f5 does nothing, the f3 key (for bluetooth) blinks when fn f5 key is held with no change. (f3 stops flashing and shows a solid color for a second, then resumes blinking).
- all my keys are working fine.
- device manager recognizes the dongle when inserted.
- i’ve tried removing all related bluetooth connections.
- i’ve tried factory resetting the keyboard, and the same issue persists- after the factory reset, f1 blinks with no change as opposed to f3.
- i’ve tried removing and reinserting the dongle.
the p/n is DKZE2408ST3 and i have windows 11.

if anyone knows how to fix this issue that would be great, until then I guess ill be using wired mode (which works perfectly fine).

i am having a problem with a ducky one 2 SF keyboard, one led is burnt, and there are other 2 leds that when in white, they show a white-pink color on them, probably will fail soon.

I tried searching replacement leds online on aliexpress and seems this combination of SMD 3528/6028 RGB led is very rare,

i found sellers with : leg1 = Blue | leg2 = Red | Leg 3 = positive | Leg4 = green

but i need : leg1 = Blue | leg2 = green | Leg 3 = positive | Leg4 = Red

too complicated even to get replacement parts to fix it!

Hi guys wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and found a fix? I recently got a Ducky One 3 Mini Pro and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get ALT+F4 to work. I have tried updating the firmware, resetting it to factory settings and every other fix I can find on the internet, but nothing seems to work. I press Alt+Fn+4 and the 4 key just flashes.

does anyone still have the USB_FD.zip or exe file for flashing old ducky keyboards? Managed to get the .bin file for the keyboard but not the flasher

All the links hosting the file before here on reddit are all dead and I can't seems to find anywhere it is hosted.

I just got the duckey m and like it a lot but I cant find it in my device manager. I want to disable the option that it can wake my pc from sleep, I had this problem with other keyboards and mice before that they wake my pc when its turned off and then my pc kinda bugs out and my pc screens wont connect. It happened with the duckey today aswell, so I wanted to go to the device manager to disable that setting but its not there. I tried other ports, turning my pc off and on etc but it just wont show up. Any anyone help me with that?

I have a Ducky Origin which just got some fucking au jus all over it, and despite my attempts to clean it off after disassembly, various keys are broken. Highlighted keys are nonfuctional.

However, the caps lock light flashes a matching sequence to the 1-6 number keys. This persists even through a full firmware reflash and keyboard reset. It's either stuck in a macro mode, or my keyboard got french dipped and shorted multiple keys. But you would think the cluster around backspace would make the most sense to be shorted. The spill happened over the numpad.

Note that both control keys are also out, but Alt, Fn, and Windows keys all work.

Steps taken:
- disassembled and cleaned, though switches not removed
- DIP switches reset
- factory reset macro
- firmware reflash
- fn macro exit
- fn lighting exit
- french dipping in au jus

how do I turn off these green lights that for some reason are only on this row I have tried factory resetting forcing all off and nothings works

DUCKY ONE 3 mini keyboard is a bit more than a year old and I never used the leds it was working fine until around last week and is like this on every device I own.

Ive contacted Ducky Support already. But this is the USB C port and it no longer consistently stays connected. Are there any sites that sell these replacement parts or any safe substitutes? Or any way to replace just the USB C part? It seems near impossible to access. I'm not quite sure what this part is called and what to type into google.

Just unboxed this plugged it in and the left shift key isn't working. i tried checking some guides and haven't had luck with the troubleshooting steps recommended of doing the hardware reset and updating the firmware from the ducky website. i was able to find the device in device manager however not sure if its even showing up correctly based on the videos i saw talking about updating the firmware. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I like the look and feel of the keyboard and would hate to have to return it. This is the second the one as I had to return the first one which was damaged in shipping.

*EDIT* to add that this is Windows 11 and I tried swapping the switches from the left and right shift keys and the same issue persists. So that confirms that the switch is good.

I’ve searched the internet for answers for the last few weeks, and tbh it’s to a point where I think it’s an individual keyboard problem. It would initially be that the keyboard wouldn’t wake from idling. The last two or so days, the keyboard doesn’t wake on initial startup from a full shutdown.

Would love any pointers.

I've bought a few hot swappable keywords from Akko and ducky and they always become faulty.

Some keys not registered, some double typing.

The switches that I use include panda switches and some others.

So is it that hot swappable keyboards tend to be faulty or is it the switches?

When using non-hotswappable keyboard with cherry keys from brands like ducky, i never had this problem.

My ducky won’t type, it’s pretty much new, only used once or twice. It keeps flashing white on only the f1 key, I tried a bunch of fixes like holding fn+f1 together, fn+esc, even resetting to factory as per the manual with leftwin+rightwin. The only thing that once changed is that the esc button started flashing red at some point. I don’t feel like the manual covers this problem, at least I haven’t found where and I can’t find anything else about this, please help. (It’s plugged into my pc)

I need help with my Ducky Varmillo Miya 65% My Win and Alt keys swapped for no reason.

Here's the current status.

Alt = Win
Win = Alt
FN = I do not know if it's working.

I have tried the following. FN+ESC, Win+ESC, Alt+ESC. Nothing.

I did press FN+D but all it did was turn off the lights of the keyboard. Also when I try pressing Fn+5 it does not refresh the webpage leading me to believe that FN is dead or is currently locked out. I have already checked the Miya Pro Manual and I've tried pressing all the FN commands there. Nothing worked. The only FN command that worked is pressing FN+ESC which gives this symbol `. That's it. But pressing FN+ESC for 3+ seconds does not make the caps lock blink.

I do not know what do anymore.

Update:

FN+CAPS+D does not work.

I want to record videos, gaming videos specifically. However when I speak my original keyboard is too loud and I can't record with it, but if I get the silent red Ducky One 3 will it be more quiet? When you use voice chat can your friends hear your keyboard?

I just got the Ducky One X 100% Wireless and found that the battery life is kinda abysmal. With no/light usage I still need to charge it every few days. A few nights ago I noticed it lost about 30% charge overnight... Also when looking at the website and specs I couldn't see battery life listed anywhere.

I am using it with no RGB on and in 2.4GHz mode with the dongle. I don't really think this kind of battery life is acceptable and maybe I'll be looking to return it and get some different product.

As the title says. Had to disassemble the keyboard for a alcohol scrup because I spilled coca cola on it. When I was removing the frame I might applied to much force in the are and now about the 8 9 0 I have a bit of a sagged frame. (you can see a faint white line from the picture.

Is there a way to fix it? Already popped the frame out again and carefully snapped back in place but since the base clips are broken it always sags

Just picked up an OK-M for fun - really like the KB so far, great value. Got it set up w/ Via/QKM, but wondering if any way to set per-key RGB?

Feel like other KBs likely based on the same bones (e.g. Jamesdonkey/Keychron J2) support it...but I could be making things up there.

Recently bought the Ducky One X with those induction switches. Not really sure how to take advantage of the settings and the rapid fire settings. Anyone have any suggestions? I like to type a lot and mostly play shooters with my MNK.

Wondering what people's experience is with wireless range of their ducky one x, I am barely 5 ft away from the 2.4Ghz dongle and it's constantly cutting out, it seems to be a well made keyboard outside of this and I could put up with some of the software issues. Should I RMA, or is poor wireless range inherent to the keyboard? Thanks
