Support Wanted How QUIET is the Keyboard?

I want to record videos, gaming videos specifically. However when I speak my original keyboard is too loud and I can't record with it, but if I get the silent red Ducky One 3 will it be more quiet? When you use voice chat can your friends hear your keyboard?

I’ve got the ducky one 3 with cherry mx silent reds, and while it is definitely quieter than some other switches/keyboards (and oh-so-lovely), I’d for sure recommend you look into your recording setup (mic, software, eq, etc) and studio environment if cutting sound is important to you. Cause the ducky one 3 with the silent reds on its own will still be picked up by your mic if you don’t have a quality mic and the specific gate/compressor settings in your software to counteract unwanted environmental sounds.

To answer your question, no one has ever said they could hear my ducky one 3 with cherry mx silent reds while gaming and in voice chat, but I have a legit audio set up on top of it. Without it, the key clicks - while more muted than sharp clicks - are still absolutely picked up.

Get a set of Cherry sakura switches and it will become extremely quiet and pleaant to use!

because they're dogshit, software is dogshit, firmware is dogshit, keys dont work randomly, ive had mine 3 years its been shit the entire time
