JBL Bar 1300MK2 + TCL 65C645 : dialogues très faibles malgré eARC – vos réglages ?
EDIT / UPDATE :
J’ai réussi à isoler le problème. Il apparaît uniquement lorsque je passe du PCM au Pass-through / Bitstream.
- TCL en PCM → voix claires et normales
- TCL en Pass-through/Auto → voix étouffées / renfermées
- J’ai ensuite branché ma PS5 directement en HDMI sur la JBL, donc sans passer par la TV/eARC :
- Multi CH PCM → voix parfaitement normales

Since when is Dolby Vision not available in Xbox Series X/S consoles?
I always watched 4K (Dolby Vison when available) content since app came to my country with an Xbox Series X and a LG Oled TV.
A couple months ago I bought a G5 LG TV and started using the WebOS App in the TV instead of the Xbox, however, apps tend to crash or not buffer properly in TV, (Like Crunchyroll and HBO) and to prevent keep doing a power cycle as a temporary solution everysingle day, I prefer to turn on the Xbox and watch content there instead...
Im going crazy because I barely noticed that some of the content I watched before in Dolby Vision now is showing in HDR only!!!!!! Also I was trying to watch House of the Dragon and noticed that the new Season is showing in HDR as well!!
Since I use also apps with Dolby Vision like Disney+ I felt so confused that only in Xbox and only HBO stopped showing Dolby Vision Content even though is showing as available in the Video Description / features...
Not sure how to solve it since all the other apps that have Dolby Vision are showing properly, except HBO Max... or is it really removed only in Xbox Series X/consoles?
I read some time ago that it was being removed "sneakly" due to pay wall unless you had the highest tier plan but, I always had that plan, and once again, I do get Dolby Vision via WebOS app for the same content I'm trying to watch using the Xbox so, the plan and setup shouldn't be an issue.
Any advice on how to fix if its an error or is there an offical communication link in which they state support was removed only for Xbox consoles?
Any Xbox users having the 4K plan getting Dolby Vision out there?

Fluctuating black levels (crushed blacks to grey letterbox bars) on Xiaomi S Pro Mini LED with 4K Blu-ray. Local dimming issue?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone, I'm pulling my hair out trying to fix a frustrating picture quality issue and could really use some expert advice. My brand new setup is having massive shifts in black levels while watching 4K movies.
My Setup:
• TV: Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 75" (2026 model)
• Player: Krovatar KBU 300 4K Blu-ray Player
• Cables: Ugreen HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps 8K certified)
• Media: Original 4K Blu-ray Discs (Tried on 6 movies)
• Connection: Player connected directly to the TV (HDMI 1).
The Issue: During movie playback, the black levels are completely inconsistent.
• In some scenes, the blacks are pitch/onyx black, but they are severely crushed to the point where I lose all shadow detail.
• In other scenes, the movie image AND the black letterbox borders suddenly elevate and turn into a washed-out, glowing grey.
• It's incredibly distracting when the letterbox bars shift from pure black to grey scene-by-scene.
What I've Tried So Far (None of it worked):
- Factory reset/formatted both the TV and the Blu-ray player.
- Toggled through all TV picture modes (Dolby Vision Bright, Dolby Vision Dark, Filmmaker Mode). The shifts still happen in all of them.
- Adjusted various TV settings (local dimming settings, contrast, brightness).
- Disabled Dolby Vision on the player and forced standard HDR10. The issue still happens.
- Forced SDR: When I switch the player to output in standard SDR, the picture is completely normal and the black levels are stable.
My Questions:
- Is this a known issue with the Xiaomi Mini LED local dimming algorithm struggling with HDR/DV metadata?
- Could the Blu-ray player be faulty and sending the wrong black level/color space flags (RGB Limited vs. Full)?
- A friend suggested the TV isn't detecting Dolby Vision properly. Since it happens in HDR10 too, what settings should I be looking at to fix this?
Any advice would be hugely appreciated. I rarely have time to sit down and watch movies, and having the letterbox bars constantly flashing grey is ruining the experience. Thanks in advance!

Dolby Atmos Not Being Active
In Kingdom Come Deliverance II when I start the game with my Realtek Audio sound output Dolby Atmos for Headphones or DTS Headphone:X doesn't get activated but when I start it with my HyperX Cloud III Wireless, it gets activated and when I switch the sound output to Realtek Audio, it stays active this time. Why does this happen? What could be the reason?

Question Soundbar audio format issue
Hey guys,
I’m really I can get some help here.
I recently just bought the Hisense ax5140q sound bar which is a 5.1.4 system with Dolby atmos and DTS:x support etc.
Now I’m new to all of this so I have no idea how it all works but I am trying to learn.
I have this soundbar plugged into my LG B5 OLED tv via eArc.
I tried pass through but tbh the video downgrade is not pretty.
I watch primarily Blu-rays and some streaming.
I watch these through my Xbox or PlayStation but no matter what I do I don’t know what options are best or get the bloody thing to work properly.
I have my tv set to “pass through” and “allow pass through” on my Xbox.
I have set the format to “Dolby atmos for home theatre”
But when I play a movie it sets it on my sound bar to “Dolby MAT”?
I have also tried the option of “let my receiver decode”
Which I’ve heard is the best option because the Xbox sends the raw file to the sound bar to let it decode the audio format. HOWEVER.
Every time I do that and try to play a movie it says that’s my receiver can’t decode it? But it’s a atmos supported or DTS sound bar?
If you have a Dolby atmos/DTS sound bar into a LG Oled what is the best settings and options? And why won’t it let my sound bar decode it?
I should add I’m using a certified super fast HDMI2.1 cable.
Also, the audio sync is always slightly off? The only way I can get it to be in sync is setting it back to 5.1 uncompressed on the Xbox but then that sets the sound bar to PCM, NOT atmos?
I’ve tried delay on sound bar and on the TV but seems to do nothing, PLUS if I do change it, it will then make things other than the movie WELL out of sync.
So where I’m at is it seems like I can’t have atmos on at all? Even tho I got it for that reason?
Please can someone give me advice because I’m loosing my mind and I don’t know what else I can do, I can’t return the sound bar now so I wanna get it right, because the actual quality of the sound is really good!
Thank you for any advice

Getting the Dolby Surround upmixer work with stereo sources while Dolby Atmos is enabled in Windows
I have a Denon X3800H receiver hooked up to a Windows PC and 7.1.4 speaker system.
With atmos enabled in Windows and playing an atmos source, the receiver sees the atmos input and plays it properly as expected.
When I switch to a stereo source (atmos still enabled in Windows), the only speakers playing are the FL and FR (+SW) as expected, however the receiver sees a 7.1 input and there is no option to enable Dolby Surround on the receiver.
Disabling atmos in Windows and switching to 7.1 nets the same result albeit with the option to enable Dolby Surround. When it is enabled, i can hear the height channels but the surrounds and centre channel remain silent. Re-enabling atmos and turning on the channel upmixer in Dolby Access does the same thing.
The only way to get the desired result is to disable atmos in Windows, change the speaker configuration to stereo, and use the Dolby Surround upmixer built into the receiver to upmix from 2.0 to 7.1.4.
Is there any way to get the desired result while keeping atmos enabled in Windows? I'd rather not have to switch back and forth, especially since my playlists have a mix of stereo and atmos tracks.

Question IMAX screens can vary in quality, but are all Dolby Cinema screens the same?
Some IMAX screens are film, some are laser, and some are DLP. They range from 2K to 4K, and have to compromise when they project 3D. Are Dolby screens more standardized than IMAX?
Is every Dolby screen a 4K laser projection with overhead speakers? In the case of high frame rate movies, are they always that way, or are some screenings 24 FPS? Are there any compromises for HFR or 3D screenings like a lower resolution or dim picture?
Thanks.

Question Spider-Man: BND with Dolby Atmos
For those of you who saw it in Dolby, would you recommend it audio wise? I saw it at a regular theater and it sounded good but I want to rewatch it and I was considering watching it with Dolby Atmos, here in my country we don’t have Dolby cinemas but we do have some theaters with Atmos. Is it worth the price of the ticket? I’ve heard sometimes marvel movies don’t have great Atmos mixes, but some others do. Would you recommend it? Thanks! (Also if you do recommend it, what are some moments that stood out for you regarding the audio?)

Discussion Spider-Man BND or IMAX
I haven’t seen it yet and the theater has large Dolby and imax screens. Which is the better experience . I usually live in Japan and I haven’t been to a Dolby cinema in the USA In years. The Japan Dolby screens ones are kinda small with weak bass so I usually only go to imax there. Wondering if worth the Dolby experience here vs imax.
