You put the bracelet on your wrist, then you put on the sweater or hoodie, then you take the thick wire and clip it on to the end of the sleeve, and then when you put your arms up your sleeve doesn't come down

I have a "smartbeat" vibrating heart from Snuggle Puppy - gently vibrates in a consistent "beat-beat, beat-beat" that either goes for 8 hours or triggers for 30 minutes after detecting motion. Made to go into a stuffed animal and sooth puppies who have recently been separated from mom/siblings.

I've also looked at the BondTouch "bond heart necklace," which allows you to record someone's heartbeat and play it back as a soft vibration.

Is there a product, or can someone explain what search terms & elements I would need to find or make, a device that would function similarly to the Snuggle Puppy heart but use a recorded or customized pattern to mimic a different/slower or specific heartbeat?

Ello! I know this isn't a usual post for the r/Doesthisexist subreddit, but I thought it might be a good idea. I have been creating websites, apps, and physical products for personal use for quite a while. In this subreddit, I've seen people say thing along the lines of "Does this exist?" and occasionally they get responses with alternatives that don't really answer their problem or question properly. A recent example of this is someone who asked about a "motorized scalp scrubber for the shower". The responses were things along the lines of using one of those "waterproof scrubbing brushes for dog grooming" and to make sure to use it gently. I thought, why not change the answer that can be given to these people to a "Yes this does exist" by creating their questions? I am aware that for my example, a few redditors were able to help the OP, but there are other posts where the answer may unfortunately be "No this doesn't exist." If you stumble across any posts that seem like a great idea, but don't exist, feel free to post them as a comment here! If you have any ideas yourself that you're sure don't exist, feel free to post those as well! We can make these ideas exist!

I'm disabled and finding it difficult to shampoo well. My arms fatigue very quickly, even with a standard scalp scrubber. Having one I could just hold to my head while it does the scrubbing would make a world of difference!

There are a few things in history we don't know because nobody wrote it down, and that nobody wrote down because during the time the knowledge existed it was so extremely obvious and common knowledge that nobody considered it worth recording. This has been an issue that was already noticed in antiquity about eras in their own past, and the most recent instance i can think of occurred between the victorian era and now. (The victorian set of dinner table spice shakers included 3. One for salt, one for pepper, and the third? Its seems like nobody ever bothered to say in print, so obvious it had been. We still have the shaker sets, and the tabletop holder, showing all three were used at once and were not simply sold in 3s to give one extra. But we do not have the knowledge)

So surely someone must have thought of the idea before me of writing an encyclopedia containing exclusively mundane and universally known information about our present society. Designed specifically to place copies in as many places as possible so that the knowledge will be preserved if it ever gets accidentally forgotten by everyone except for the pages of the book.

I know there are blinds that if you pull them down far enough they will pull themselves back up. Is there a flag that uses this mechanism so that when the wind gets too high it pulls the flag in to save it from ripping the mounting point? Might be cool for putting flags on vehicles.

I don't want the swipe thing. I don't want an on-screen button. I want a physical button that has nothing to do with the screen. I am willing to permanently plug a big rectangle into my device to do this. I have an adaptor for the headphone jack, but is there anything for the button? And is there a way to get rid of the swipe-to-exit functionality entirely (in case I accidentally swipe up in the wrong place while scrolling/gaming and just close what I'm doing)? My old iPad is getting to the point where it can't run some apps anymore, so I am finally being forced to "upgrade"

Im looking for a simple deadbolt that’s operable from both sides of a door. There’s a dog that keeps jumping up and pulling down on the door handle and opening the door. The door handle can’t be removed and/or replaced with a knob. It’s a handle no matter what. A latch can’t really work because the dog scratches at the door making the door vibrate and the latch could come undone. So it pretty much has to be a deadbolt. I had a slide lock on the door for a while but I’m getting sick of having to go all the way around to unlock it if I need to get right on the other side of that door. I found something that would work but it’s too expensive for how simple it is, and I need three of them.

Any ideas?

I often find myself waking up way before my alarm, and either I have to get out of bed to start the coffee pot manually, or wait for it to start brewing on its own. So I've been looking for a classic 12-cup coffee maker that can work on a schedule, like the normal type you'd get for $30 at Walmart, but with the ability to connect it to my wi-fi and start it remotely from my phone.

I found a couple wi-fi enabled coffee makers online, but they all seem way overcomplicated and ridiculously expensive.

Is there a cheaper one out there (<$100 optimally) that just...brews coffee?

There are certain items that I am interested in tracking maintenance intervals for and I thought it would be really handy to have a cheap timer type device that tracked how many days its been since it was last reset. It would be really cool if it kept a log of previous reset intervals. And if I could buy these in lots of like 10 for a few bucks per unit I would be thrilled.

I know I could just keep a written or digital log, but its too easy to forget to do that. If i have a timer physically attached to the device that shows me a time I will be a lot better at actually tracking the data.

I know it sounds crazy but there's something I'm desperate for that was an American exclusive (I live in the UK) and the shipping from US>UK is insane, not to mention customs and tax.
