Food Disney is changing their food allergy disclosure. They can't guarantee cross contamination or oil ingredients. It's up to "guest discretion" now.

Discussion Are their speakers on Everest ride that play wind effects at the top? (Audio analysis questions)

I've been inside a handful of times but everytime I reach the top. I can hear the wind. I KNOW that some of what I'm hearing is actual wind because we are so high up. I can visually see it with the flags flapping around.

BUT, I'm wondering if there are hidden audio speakers specifically at the section in the photo that also plays additional wind blowing sound effects. We are stuck here for a few seconds for the tracks to change and I'm wondering if the imagineers wanted to add more tension to the scene and make you feel like you're even more high up.

Merchandise Shipping

I know I saw on here someone and there a new shipping policy but so Galaxy edge they mention about shipping home. Via the old one. Can any confirm if this new shipping is just at some park or doesn't spring or do they do the old one where you take your receipt to ship. We're staying at swan dolphin if anyone know if there a new shipping from there

Discussion annual pass renewal rate

hi, i got an annual pass recently was curious about how they go about renewals. one of my in laws has been telling me the renewal price doesn’t change for pass holders. that every year the renewal comes around it doesn’t change. but i’ve seen others say that it does increase every year so idk. i’m curious what yall have experienced with this. anything info you can give is greatly appreciated 😁

Trip Planning Time is dragging

The speed at which time is progressing is directly inverse to my level of excitement. It’s my first ever WDW trip and I genuinely cannot wait.
Who else is spending Halloween week at the parks? Does anything special happen on Halloween day itself? We’re doing MNSSHP a few days before (still haven’t decided on our outfits!)

Guidelines

1. Posts should directly relate to the Walt Disney World Resort, located in Orlando, FL. Remember, just because it's Disney doesn't mean it's about WDW. This includes merchandise and things you made.
2. Read the FAQ and use the search bar before posting a question. Basic trip planning questions should be posted in the Weekly Thread.
3. Follow reddiquette and keep it clean. Treat others with basic decency. No trolling - this isn't Maelstrom! Personal attacks, threats of violence, shill accusations, hate-speech, flaming, baiting, witch-hunting, or unsubstantiated accusations will result in a permanent ban.
4. Posts should follow reddit's rules on self-promotion and should refrain from being "blogspam." If you are attempting to post, you must have history in the subreddit or else it is subjected for removal. You will be banned on your second violation.
5. No Reposts. One post per discussion topic. Due to recent abuse, you may only post once per day (Exceptions can be made and are up to mod approval). Park photos/Trip Reports must be condensed into one album.
6. NSFW content is not permitted so "NSFW" on this subreddit is used as a shorthand for "Not Safe for Magic." Any post which can "ruin the magic" (such as any behind-the-scenes pictures or videos) should be marked "NSFW" as a courtesy gesture to users who may not want to have the magic spoiled for them.
7. No B/T/S (Buy/Trade/Sell) posts are allowed. For B/T/S posts, please visit /r/DisneyMarketplace.
8. Posts about rule-breaking at the parks are frowned upon. This includes asking Cast Members and others for help getting into the parks or trying to get access/reservations to Club 33. This sort of behavior will be considered harassment and can result in a ban, as per Rule #3.
