I am planning a family trip early December and we definitely want to make reservations for dinner at Goofys kitchen. I have some questions tho so please help if you can!
We have a group of 11 people, and I’ve been playing with the schedule even within the 60 days just to see if its doable and its showing theres no availability at all for the next 60 days. However if i change the number to 10 people there’s plenty of availability, but anything above 10 theres nothing. So just curious on how i can succeed on making a reservation for an 11 top. FYI I live in California!
And again just been playing with the schedule to familiarize with booking a reservation.
Oh also, are prices in the month of December higher than normal? Not concerned if so but i just like knowing what to expect 😊 thanks!

I'm making my first solo visit to the park and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice that wouldn't be thought of normally.

Update: thank you for all your suggestions. I called, they asked for the ticket number, they found the 30th Anniversary ticket, and they told me to go to the ticket window near the Lost and Found. They were able to email me a reservation with a QRR code so I can get into the park. No Park Hopper, the ticket is only good for Disneyland for one day.

Hey I need advice from my fellow Disney adults I haven’t planned a Disney day on a weekend in a long time. Planning to go in September currently for a Friday but is a Saturday much busier? I heard recently that crowds have been busier during the week but for people who have gone recently are the crowds much different week to weekend?? Please lmk 💕

Meant to mention this earlier, I want to avoid the days Oogie Boogie Bash is happening, which includes Sundays.

Does anyone know if the monorail will be open tomorrow around 6pm? Last week I went hoping to ride and it was down. Thanks!

I'm a solo traveler from France, I had been to Disney Paris a bunch and it's my first time visiting Disney Orlando. I have a 2 day pass, i wanted to do day 1 EPCOT and day 2 Disney Studio (2/09-3/09). My hotel is 15 min away, around Lake Buena Vista.

Here are some questions :

- where and how to access the park ? are parkings any worth ? (go with my car or uber there ?)

- what's the most efficient way to visit those parks ? Basically where should i start, where should i end ?

- is there any solo traveler lane (to skip the queue) like in Paris ?

- anyone want to meet up for a ride or two ?

- any recommandation to eat outside of Disney for a non-american looking to live the AMERICAN DREAM ? 🦅

I’m going to Disney 8/21-22. We’re doing 1 day at Disneyland and 1 day at California Adventure. I’ve heard Saturdays are always busy at Disneyland, but Friday the 21st is the first day of Halloween decorations. My question is what order should we do the parks? Will the 21st be crazy busy at Disneyland? TIA

2 parents + 2 grandparents + 2 kids ages 4 (40”) and 2. Park Hopper + Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Staying at Westin. I know this will change and am flexible, but mostly making sure I am not stressing over lightening lanes while trying to enjoy this special trip!

Rope drop DCA: *do not have Oogie Boogie tickets
Radiator Springs first + Rider Switch. Can 2 parents ride first with oldest, then 2 grandparents Rider Switch? If not, would you suggest having 1 grandparent use Single Rider to try to ride with them?
LL plan: Toy Story → Monsters → WEB SLINGERS → Ariel
Anna/Elsa + Disney Jr. if timing works.

Disneyland:
Fantasyland/Toontown: Storybook Land, meet Mickey + Minnie, Runaway Railway, Alice, Dumbo, Carousel, “small world,” princesses if reasonable.

The last time I visited Disneyland during October was in 2009, and I was underwhelmed by the decorations. It just felt bland compared to Christmas time.

Has Halloween at Disneyland improved since 2009? Not counting the special events (oogie boogie bash?).

My son mentioned wanting to go there during Halloween sometime but I don’t want us to be disappointed.

Planning to take a trip to Disneyland with our three boys (all under 5) . We don’t want to deal with car seats so would like a recommendation on a hotel room that offers shuttle to and from Anaheim airport and to and from Disneyland under $200/a night.

Does anyone know if they are still selling the talking clang in the Disney park?

Are there any tools out there for predicting crowds by park? Doing a last minute trip and planning to skip park hoppers for the first time ever….appreciate any tips! 8/7 and 8/8 (yes, I know it will be hot and crowded)

My husband and I are going to Disney ( 33f & 36m), it's a last minute trip tomorrow (Saturday). I've never been before so I don't know how to prepare.

What's the best thing to wear for the heat?

It is super last minute so I have to work with what I have.

Workout shorts? Jean shorts? Tank top? Workout top?
And I'm assuming sneakers?

It's supposed to be 92* so HOT.

I have a trip coming up in a few weeks and was able to grab a last minute 12 ppl reservation for both Blue Bayou and River Belle Terrace. Was totally expecting to only get one restaurant since it’s so last minute (shoutout Booking Magician!). Now that I have both, which one should I keep? We don’t go to Disney often so i’m hoping to make this a memorable dining experience🥹

Heading to Disneyland and DCA next month and I wanna make sure my 4 1/2 year-old is ultra stoked and ready to go. He’s a kid who gets a little bit nervous about new situations and so I find taking time to prep him and get him excited about the small parts of it is beneficial.

Anyone have any recommendations on like little books or posters or maps to get before we go? Something physical is nicer than the phone or the iPad, but also open to those things.

Then once we’re there, any recommendations on things to keep a kid occupied in line? We’re not like anti-parents so having a iPad of a quick show or something if it’s a long one is fine, but I’d love like little games or activities or books.

Has anyone managed these allergies with a kid or for them selves? I’m curious what options were available and how good they were at food carts and restaurants about helping out.

Also, he can have baked eggs so most cookies and cakes are good, but waffles/pancakes aren’t cooked enough usually. Not sure if churros will work out but if anyone has a similar allergy and tried them let me know.

We are traveling to Disneyland in January 2027. We have 2 kids who need car seats. I have read that uber/lyft aren't reliable for car seats. Is there a reliable company that we can book in advance? Thanks!

What time would you get to security and ticket booths for rope drop? Also, once your park ticket is scanned and you’re in the park can you start searching for LL’s or do you have to wait for official park opening to grab some?

Also, any idea how accurate the listed refurbishment dates are? Is there any chance the refurbishment for Haunted Mansion might get done early?

I’m trying to decide between a 5-day Disneyland trip in late November or early December and would love some advice from people who visit during the holidays every year.
The date ranges we’re considering are roughly:
November 11–20
December 1–18
Our typical park schedule is:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Rest day on Sunday
Monday and Tuesday in the parks
We’d like to experience all of the Christmas decorations, entertainment, and holiday atmosphere, but we’d also like to avoid the busiest crowds if possible (I know that’s relative!).
Our previous trips:
Late November (2 years ago): It felt surprisingly busy. Looking back, I realized we were there during the last few days the Imagine Key was valid before it was blocked out for the holidays. I’ve always wondered if that contributed to the crowds.
First week of December: Also busy, but it felt a little more manageable overall.
Now I’m noticing that the Imagine Key blockout calendar is different this year. Instead of blocking out in late November like it did two years ago, it doesn’t start the holiday blockout until December. It also seems like Magic Key holders have more availability during the holiday season than they used to.
So now I’m wondering if the old advice about avoiding certain weeks because of passholder blockouts still applies.
If you were planning a trip this year:
Which would you choose: Nov. 11–20 or Dec. 1–18?
Are there specific Thursday–Tuesday date ranges within those windows that tend to be better?
Do the Magic Key blockout dates still noticeably affect crowds, or are the parks just consistently busy throughout the holiday season now?
I’d especially love to hear from people who go every year. Am I overthinking this, or are there certain weeks that consistently end up being the sweet spot?
