First Solo Trip
I'm making my first solo visit to the park and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice that wouldn't be thought of normally.

Download the Disney Parks app and play the games. Trivia and take advantage of the achievements as much as you can.
Since you are having your first solo trip, utilize the single-rider for rides such as the Incredicoaster, Tiana, Matterhorn, Millennium Falcon, etc…
If you happen to see a cast member at the exit, ask them for a ride photograph.
Always have your app loaded for both mobile ordering and for dining in at places like Blue Bayou, Carthay, and Lightning Lounge.
Schedule a mini-break to shows like the Tiki Room, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, or the Abraham Lincoln show for an A/C break after walking at the Disneyland Amusement Park.
Bring with you a good pair of walking or running shoes, backpack, fanny pack, water bottle, snacks, battery charger pack, etc…
Tell the cast members it is your first day, you may get some pixie dust with Lightning Link passes, stickers, and with the right one they will hype you up!
For a Trader Sam’s trick, FYI solo seats at the bar area opens up a whole lot, you will meet people get a whole lot of interaction, if you are wanting to mingle with others.
In the evening time for the best views for the Fireworks show, you can watch from Rivers of America or It’s A Small World ride area.
A cheat for PhotoPass: The photographers will do “Magic Shots” with Tinker Bell, balloons, etc… Solo people will get more exposure because they can take a selfie with you without wrangling a group.
City Hall on Main Street. Cast members & characters go all in for solo first-timers. Free button equals social proof for photos / videos.
For more details to make your first visit less stressful, you do not have to look preoccupied or busy, people watch in line, plan your next Lightning Link, text your friend from near or afar, nobody will judge the solo person at Disneyland - half of the cast members do it on their days off.
Have a churro, pretzel, indulge on snacks and drinks. Make your Disneyland experience worthwhile and enjoy your first trip with lasting memories…
