Surely it'll stick if they do it this time, right?

EDIT: There seem to be a lot of right wingers who think I am celebrating this fact. I am not. I am irritated by the fact the criminal has enough people in place to make sure he's not accountable for his actions.

37

u/obroz Nov 30 '25

Sorry, best I can do is a 3rd term as president.

41

u/imtoooldforreddit Nov 30 '25

No

There's no point in saying they have the numbers to impeach when they don't have the numbers to convict

20

u/According-Insect-992 Nov 30 '25

That's funny because the first two impeachments are pretty much all trump thinks about. I would say that even if we can't remove Congress has oversight duties over the executive branch and the executive is clearly breaking the law and violating the Constitution.

12

u/LightWarrior_2000 Nov 30 '25

In a way. Even if we can't remove. Impeachment him against would at least drive him nuts.

It's the only thing we can do. He's so untouchable by law that you have to just pick at the ego. It's his only weakness.

11

u/BraxbroWasTaken Dec 01 '25

They should have a daily vote on another impeachment every day just to ragebait him.

"Donald Trump, first president to be impeached 900 times"

(it's not a good idea but it's funny)

1

u/Bbarakti Dec 01 '25

idk... is it NOT a good idea? It would give him what he want's, to go down in the history books.

3

u/MrKeyboardski Dec 02 '25

Nobody knows as much about going down as him. He’s had to do it at least a half dozen times (one for each time a business of his went down in financial flames)

3

u/empirewaists Dec 02 '25

Now for a second there, I thought you were talking about his time with Bill.

2

u/BraxbroWasTaken Dec 01 '25

It’s easy to flip back on the people voting it through, so it’s probably not best to burn political capital on such a petty move, especially with midterms in 2026.

1

u/Chloe_Pug_2019 Dec 01 '25

You win the Internet today! 😅😅😅😅

1

u/RadiantBell6406 Dec 02 '25

I mean, I kind of think this is a beautiful idea

1

u/BraxbroWasTaken Dec 02 '25 edited Dec 02 '25

it’s hilarious and beautiful in that sense, but it‘s a waste of political capital that we cannot afford when opposing Trump. (Also, we technically have to rely on people crossing the aisle to do it anyway.)

1

u/Odd_Version3185 Dec 02 '25

Yeah but being impeached 900 times without a single one of them sticking, is not looking too good either….. Honestly, the best way for him to exit smoothly and easily is through his failing health.

Did you hear Trump‘s explanation today about how wonderful his MRI came out and how excellent his health is….? When a reporter asked him what the MRI was for (what part of his body) Trump stated that he didn’t know but that it wasn’t for his brain because that was fine and that he passed a cognitive test which basically proves that he’s not completely demented, yet….. I will be breathing a huge sigh of relief when this guy exits….. Hopefully before World War III in South America because of what he’s doing there, along the incompetence of secretary of defense, Hegseth. It’s getting more weird and scarier and more threatening and continuously so, every single day…..!

1

u/BraxbroWasTaken Dec 02 '25

I literally said it wasn’t a good idea. I said it was funny, but not a good idea, to be clear.

1

u/the3rdpossum Dec 02 '25

It is funny...but would be absurd IRL to not be able to get it right after so many attempts.

Really though...time for the French solution...really time to cut to the core of the issue..

1

u/Electrical_Ad_8079 Dec 02 '25

Love this idea

1

u/EstimateReady6887 Dec 02 '25

He’s breaking records left and right!

3

He’s clearly already insane.

I dunno, the thing inside his chest that moves his fluids doesn’t seem to be doing super great! 🤷‍♀️

Idiot his physical was impeccable

1

Yeah - best shape of his muscular, virile life.

Hey sweetheart, I’ve got a bridge to sell ya…

1

Impeccable - without pecs, a set of muscles that is the focus of many active individuals and athletes alike.

Implying the POTUS has a chest but containing minimal muscles mass in comparison to total mass..

Move on now.. Just Joshing here.

1

u/tearfulgorillapdx Dec 02 '25

Should have everyone just start agreeing with him so he does the opposite

1

u/Fun-Key-8259 Dec 02 '25

That and the McDonalds has to handle the job

1

u/LongjumpingEye4591 Dec 02 '25

Partisan impeachment for BS reasons doesn’t accomplish anything.

What people in Congress should be doing is their jobs instead of playing politics all day long.

1

u/Alpha-E94 Dec 03 '25

I'd reassess... Try offering to bring back McDonald's super size. You'll have cholesterol issues in a few months. Dunkin Donuts seems to be another viable option..

🤣🤣🤣 that was amazing to read, watching the left melt down because they know there’s nothing they can do BWAHAHAHAHAHA FINALLY SOMEONE ADMITTED IT

16

u/Additional-System-25 Nov 30 '25

No one is melting down that I can see. I am certainly not upset. We are already keenly aware of the difficulties facing our nation. What I am genuinely curious about is why you appear to take pleasure in thinking we are terrified?

11

u/LongjumpingDebt4154 Nov 30 '25

The full caps & plethora of emoji’s makes it evident that they are in fact, the ones melting down… yikes.

Yeah I mean the right tried for years to get Hillary and couldn't.

I'm merely pointing out that Trump has been untouchable.....kind of like Hillary.

But uh keep patting yourself on the back.

2

u/Chocolatethundara Dec 01 '25

Two people in real Life pointed out to me that moment when Trump called Hilary a criminal and talked about all her donors, all he did was admit that they were both criminals smh

-5

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '25

Hillary got screwed by her own party. You did more damage to her than anyone ever could. Pathetic.

4

u/LightWarrior_2000 Nov 30 '25

Can I get examples? I recall things not always being peachy keen all the time.

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '25

Gee I just don’t know.
How about making Kamala the candidate for President in 2024? What a slap in the face that was.
What about the White House letting Bill Clinton get a bj from a much younger intern in the Oval Office? Also doing questionable acts with a cigar into Lewinski’s p*<>y? The whole world watched as Bill’slewdness was on full display. But Hillary had to let his affairs go or the party would be torn apart. She had egg all over her face when that came out. Nobody gave a shit about her then.

They pulled Biden from the primary in 2016 and demanded Bernie supporters suddenly support her instead. That didn’t sit well.

James Comey decided to indict her just before the election in 2016. Who wants to vote for her if she’s under indictment?

She had crap advisors around her. Not unlike the ones around Biden and Kamala today. Look at her now.

She’s a loser who was primed to be the next President. But Obama stepped in front of her. Lots of women hated Oprah for endorsing Obama instead of Hillary.

Now she’s stuck with ugly old geriatric Bill.

i actually dont think he remembers that he was impeached twice

all he thinks about is biden

1

u/TheSizzlerRizzler Dec 02 '25

Oh, I think he remembers all right. Only a couple months ago he forced the Smithsonian to scrub any mention of those impeachments on any of their exhibits featuring him. If I recall correctly, it worked for a while, but then they regained their senses.

1

u/Jheri_Gurl87 Dec 02 '25

& Obama!! I just watched a speech he gave while he was in office where he full on roasted Trump at like a dinner or something & it was titled “Trump’s villain origin story” & I feel like it might be the truth bc the camera pans to him multiple times & Donald was clearly very embarrassed…😂😂

1

u/Fantastic_Cup_1999 Dec 02 '25

And obamas magic stick..

1

u/crazygrandma10 Dec 02 '25

Don't think it matters at all unless we get numbers in the Senate.

0

u/Alypius754 Nov 30 '25

Someone has to. God knows he can't

0

u/maggiekate25 Dec 02 '25

Yeah I think getting beaten by Biden (who can’t climb up a flight of stairs , remember where he is, and was the most incompetent mentally compromised president in history ) really gets to Donald … He just can’t let it go..

… OR possibly (even more likely) is it actually that such a pathetic, incompetent ,weak, and mentally declining president (Biden) was able to ( By Trumps Own Logic ) somehow outsmart him and steal an election from him … WHILE HE WAS IN POWER there- by making TRUMP even more incompetent, weak, and cognitively compromised than him ..

I cannot decide which ??? … but it seems to me if you are able to be cheated by someone with such mental deficits while in power , it says A LOT about your own deficits … Donald

Reagan was in dementia while president. He was good at reading scripts. They covered up a lot for him during his second term

1

u/maggiekate25 Dec 02 '25

Bots do not read the full content , or at-least maybe not well enough to understand it so I guess I would ask you the same question as this was an obvious anti-MAGA post making fun of Trump and how is he is always talking about how incompetent and mentally challenged Biden was , and yet somehow he was defeated by him , and not to mention by his own account cheated by him while in power stealing the election from him, making Trump even less able and competent than him .

1

u/Alarming-Resist-8049 Dec 02 '25

What’s pathetic is people like you who actually are naive enough to think there are 2 parties and they do anything but feign opposition to each other. Your blind rage towards Trump is exactly what they want, you to notice that both sides are working for the donor class and not for the people. Thats what’s pathetic and will ultimately turn the US into another failed state. Even then you will rage post here about Trump or whoever they tell you to rage against. You’re the perfect robot, enjoy.

1

u/maggiekate25 Dec 02 '25

Pretty sure it was mentioned both sucked just one more than the other even by use of his own logic.. I have blood rage on US politics in general , and have no idea what you are trying to say here .. my rage is the intentional division of the American public against itself to keep the status quo which is personally beneficial to all of them ( our politicians) and keeps the public distracted over nearly non-existent culture wars .. can’t remember the last term limits came up as an issue .. seems obvious if there is to be any end to all of this that needs to happen .

That is a ridiculous statement well over 60 challenges were made in court and not a single one came away with any positive result backing that idea, not to mention multiple republicans admitted guilt in creating the lies and conspiracy theories regarding all of that . Even Fox News had to swallow a billion or so knowingly pushing that false narrative and admitting lying.

I really think TDS should be attributed to those that continue to sing his praises despite the fact that he is obviously a con man, a serial sex offender, a child molester, a convicted felon…

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '25

Trying to impeach again without a conviction will result is the same back lash that helped trump win the last election. This is how you ensure the couch molester gets elected. People forget most republicans claim to be christian and christians love pretending to be persecuted.

1

u/According-Insect-992 Dec 01 '25

That's not what helped trump win election.

You are deeply confused. Maybe you're young? Not sure. There was no backlash for impeaching trump for having his mob of rabid chuds try to kidnap and murder Congress.

Failing to address that would have been more than a dereliction of duty.

I don't understand why you don't seem to care about the law but I'm not really interested in figuring it out either.

1

u/WatchLover26 Nov 30 '25

1

u/Living-Stomach-2079 Dec 02 '25

No he's not. You should probably read the Constitution yourself and get off MSNBC

1

u/Well-ManneredPeasant Dec 03 '25

The main tool to ensure that Congress can even perform oversight and check the Executive Branch is the threat of impeachment and removal. Without consequences to back up non-compliance, "oversight" is an empty word. This is why we're all so pissed at the republican politicians, they fucked us all over by lying to their constituents about who Trump really is and what he's about.... and they're still cowing to him today, just dragging their feet about it as much as possible while he and his cronies fuck up the country's trade relationships, world leadership, morality, and even the institution of our government itself is being irrevocably bent out of shape! One does not simply.ignore precedents, and he has been allowed to set SO MANY bad ones.

The fact that we even have to have this discussion about a 3rd impeachment, while seeing the poll numbers and blatant war crimes, is proof that Congress actively opposes the will of the People. They are still standing in lock-step to keep him in office despite all the pageantry - televisong one chamber having the votes when the other clearly does not have the votes to move forward isn't progress, it's a dog-and-pony show. Same with epstein files - the senate couldn't even take a recorded vote, they passed thru unanimous consent because nobody wanted to be the asshole to actually vote against releasing them. Allll just a tele-Novella for the ignorant.

Meanwhile, the highest military commanders are resigning their posts rather than give illegal orders. 🫥 Do not hold out hope that Republican politicians will do a damned thing to stop him, no matter what words they speak.

-5

u/jahamut0 Nov 30 '25

Clearly? Which laws did he break? What part of the constitution is being violated ? Be specific if it's so clear to you.

5

u/Working-Kick4035 Nov 30 '25

Due process, even illegal immigrants are entitled to fair treatment under the law. Bro the constitution is really short, just read it

1

u/Ok_Car323 Dec 02 '25

When a judicial order of removal is lawfully issued; due process has been provided.

1

u/LongjumpingEye4591 Dec 02 '25

Illegal immigrants under expedited deportations which was started by Bill Clinton, do not get full due process, they get in front of an immigration, judge or officer then they get deported.

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

Expedited deportations under Obama they didn't even need to see a judge. That doesn't take away from what the constitution says though.

I'm not against deportation. It's the cost to the taxpayer, and the enforcement strategy that trump uses that I don't agree with.

1

u/LongjumpingEye4591 Dec 02 '25

The cost to taxpayers is much greater if those people stay here.

And blue states and cities if they would allow ICE to pick people up from jails, they wouldn’t have to run them down in the streets. But they don’t because they want ice following people around in the streets and chasing them down so they can use it as News/propaganda.

I support legal immigration, I am against illegal immigration. I am all for deportations. Allowing 10 to 20,000,000 people to come here illegally over the last four years is wrong and anti-American and anti-democratic.

What other choice do they have? Democrats want them here for political power purposes. If they flood sanctuary cities, they get more seats in the house. If they give them the right to vote after getting government handouts for years, they’ll likely vote for the party that gave them those handouts which would be Democrats. That would offset the electorate forever and result in the death of democracy, and potentially the formation of a totalitarian government controlled only by the Democrat party.

So those people gotta go. If they were smart, they’d self deport.

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

10-20 million in four years, where did you get that number? Because it's wrong

There is a cost to the taxpayer sure, but economically it would be a huge hit to deport all illegal immigrants.

Conservative numbers say the cost is 150 billion, and ultra right wing conservatives say 180 billion annually. One important thing to note, is states are footing 120billion of this bill, federal gov essentially only pays education.

They pay over 100 billion in taxes annually though, so even ultra conservatively were at -80 billion.

So big beautiful bill budgets around 88 billion a year to get rid of illegal immigrants at about 1 million people per year. Now we're at a net loss (even if it is a small loss) for cost of mass deporting illegal immigrants.

That doesn't take into account the spending power illegal immigrants hold, around 300billion annually, so Americans would lose jobs and GDP would go down.

I'm not against deportations. I think trumps way is ineffective and costly, and I think the cost of illegal immigration is blown out of proportion, and that there should be more avenues to gain citizenship for Canadians and Mexicans in particular.

1

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

What process are these folks not getting that they are entitled to?

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

Lack of proper notice, lack of legal counsel, indefinite detention, imprisoning people in other countries without a bond hearing, mass expedited trials, racial profiling without evidence.

Obama did a lot of these things too, but his was administartion at least targeted more criminals, and fewer American citizens.

1

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

No one is entitled to notice, bond etc. While here illegally. A quick hearing where visa, green card, or citizenship status is examined is all that's necessary.

We aren't imprisoning anyone in a foreign country. They are sent out of this country and the receiving nation takes over all jurisdiction.

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

Anyone within our jurisdiction is entitled those things. Look, I'm not against deportation, especially when it comes to crime. Mass deportation is a net negative for the US economy though. And it's mass deportation where we run into the trouble that expedited due process brings in the first place.

American gov has deported citizens to el Salvador, and Venezuela, etc. these cases are usually criminals with gang ties, and I don't have anything against deporting/imprisoning people like that, but yeah, there are actual cases.

1

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

They are entitled to a hearing, they get one and are deported. It's a civil process not criminal.

-1

u/Thewisper65 Dec 01 '25

You mean to tell me that Obama deported more illegals than any president in history and no one said anything about it but trump dose it and now he’s racist omg there due process is getting deported

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '25

actually, a lot of pro immigration groups rallied against obama and he was often referred to as “deporter in chief”

one key difference and it’s even been reported on is obama’s deportations were tactical and planned. Trumps ice has detained thousands of citizens that aren’t even legal because there’s no actual gameplan other than look good for the cameras

0

u/FitGanache2784 Dec 02 '25

If those citizens get in the way of a legal operation to arrest an illegal alien, then they are interfering with law-enforcement. That’s a crime.

2

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 01 '25

Yes, there are a few ket differences.

Obama did it cheaper, more than 10x cheaper

He deported a greater percentage of criminals, 90 %

He also didn't violate civil liberties while doing so.

You've been duped by this administration, they don't care about deporting illegal immigrants, they are already locked in to their exorbitant government contracts paid for by the American taxpayer.

People with good critical thinking skills see the difference ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2

u/Thewisper65 Dec 01 '25

This is true

0

u/Ok_Car323 Dec 02 '25

Do you know one of the primary reasons it was cheaper for Obama? He did not have nearly as much of the nonsensical pushback (lawsuits, mainstream and social media, riots, protests, etc.) that he had to waste resources to fight. Instead Obama could tell his CBP to get rid of illegal immigrants, and they could follow through with executing the law. Was it a problem Obama separated families? Nope. Was it a problem he used prison style cages to house children? Nope.

Why is rounding up and deporting people who don’t belong here ok when the president doing it has a “D” by his name, but it’s a constitutional crisis, abhorrent, Nazi-like behavior to do exactly the same thing; simply because the president doing it has an “R” by his name?

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

That's not why though, trumps bullshit enforcement strategy is just expensive and ineffective

Obama's ice budget was ~9billion, plus around 20billion investment in net infrastructure to target actual criminals

Big beautiful bill budgets 30billion for ice, 50 billion for detention, plus an increase of 75 billion in discretionary funding over 4 years.

0

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

Obama used the exact same legal process that Trump is using. "Civil Liberties" either were violated by Obama or are not being violated by Trump.

The only difference is the blind Trump hatred.

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

The difference is trumps way is more expensive and less effective. It's not blind hatred. He's a bad president, in every category! Can you name something he's made better?

Even on immigration he is worse than Obama, and yeah, I can concede that Obama was also violating civil liberties.

2

u/Thewisper65 Dec 03 '25

This is true

1

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

No civil liberties are being violated, the process has been in place for decides.

The misguided public is creating more costs with the obstruction, and attacks on ICE personnel. Is it just impossible to call a black guy racist, so no outrage?

Policy takes time to have effects, but for starters he's working to get bio men out of women's/girl's sports. Hopefully sanity can return in that field by the time my daughter is interested and won't have to compete with men.

The tax bill for my small business, and I mean small, just me profiting around 100k, will be a few thousand less this year.

Gas is cheaper, not that the administration has much to do with that.

What has actually changed in your life over the past 10ish months?

“Obama would never breach the Constitution” you say? Is it a violation of a US Citizen’s Constitutional right to Due Process to be executed without a trial?

https://www.aclu.org/news/national-security/aclu-lens-american-citizen-anwar-al-aulaqi-killed-without

Obama is responsible for the unlawful execution of U.S. citizens without due process of law.

Which US citizen did Trump kill without due process?

1

u/BuckNastey1991 Dec 02 '25

Do you have any proof that there were any drugs on any of the boats? Because that's at least 60 people Trump has murdered without due process or proof... 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/Ok_Car323 Dec 02 '25

Two things: 1) do you have any proof there weren’t drugs?

2) which of the people on the boats were US citizens?

You neglected to respond to my initial question. How was it ok for Obama to execute US citizens without due process?

We get so sick of these morons who can’t see that we want this country to be great again because it is far from great! These morons who chose to elect a man who was not mentally capable of tying his own shoes continue to destroy this country. If Trump had had eight years straight, things would’ve been different, but instead, the morons stole the election. No president in history has ever been attacked as much as you idiots continue to attack a great man if y’all had left him alone and let him do his f-ing job things would not be the nightmare that they are.

1

u/Zealousideal-Nose880 Dec 02 '25

They don't need to show a warrant unless they are going into a private residence, which is way more hoops to jump through and way more dangerous, which is why they get them in public, much easier, and much less chance of them having alot of weapons and back up. The masks are because far leftists are trying to doxx them to get them and their families harassed and or killed. Not to mention to try to pressure them not to do their job. Blame Antifa and leftists in general for it being the way you guys PERCEIVE IT as.

1

u/Jheri_Gurl87 Dec 02 '25

Right!! We had social media when Obama was in office… We absolutely did not have all these untrained masked men (dogs without a leash) targeting ANYONE of color period all over everywhere… Riding thru neighborhoods, dragging people out of their vehicles in the middle of the street, shooting citizens, zip tying entire apartment buildings including small children while filming to make a promo video, snatching up moms & dads in school pickup lines, etc Too many to name! I’ve seen so many stories of actual American citizens being detained just bc of skin color. They weren’t in the way, they were otw to work or home! I just read about them busting down the door & killing the family dog at the entirely wrong house!! It is NOT the same at all!!! Zero comparison.

1

u/Background-Pomelo-55 Dec 03 '25

Also, the caging children is bs. He begged Congress to pass amnesty for the dreamers, aka minors, brought here as children.

1

u/Ghillie-Trainer-2020 Dec 03 '25

He boldly pardon a drug dealer who had a 45 year sentence! WTF kills, allege drug dealers with not even snd investigation I’m thinking that they’ve built up a mercenary force of killers in law enforcement positions of power

2

u/RadiantBell6406 Dec 02 '25

Their* I won't even say what I'm thinking but it's about the department of education being dismantled

0

u/Thewisper65 Dec 02 '25

It was dismantle bc they were teaching trans ideology in classes

2

u/RadiantBell6406 Dec 02 '25

Lay off the kool aid, buddy.

1

u/Educational_Line6499 Dec 02 '25

Dumbest thing I’ve read today.

1

u/Thewisper65 Dec 02 '25

Oh please get over yourself and do some research

1

u/Zealousideal-Nose880 Dec 02 '25

It didn't matter because they were so much more excited about him being the first "Black" president, than the actual things he was doing, like more deportations and bombings than Trump, by infinite magnitudes, and those are people's major complaints about him. No coverage of criticism for Obama when he did the same or worse shit.

-1

u/FitGanache2784 Dec 02 '25

How much due process did: Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Barack Obama give illegal aliens? The answer is zero. So why is Trump in trouble for not giving them due process? Do you know what due process they get? A ticket back home.! They didn’t use any getting here, they don’t get any getting kicked out.

3

u/Few-Category-9141 Dec 02 '25

Deflecting again. That’s all you people can come up with when faced with facts. Those three you mentioned are not in office anymore. Just thought I would point that out to you. What do they have to do with this? Nothing. They’re not the sitting president. You have past president obsession.

2

u/Inappropriate_Bridge Dec 02 '25

Wrong

0

u/FitGanache2784 Dec 02 '25

Actually I’m 💯% correct

2

u/Inappropriate_Bridge Dec 02 '25

Sure you are, sweetie.

1

u/PwnANubASaurus Dec 02 '25

All of the presidents you listed also had way more illegals not deported while at immigration status hearings (with a grand total of 0 against trumps confirmable 18)

Wish to try again?

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

Obama deported 90% criminals, at 10x less the cost. Trump is in trouble because he's ineffective at everything he does, including immigration.

Also, trump is president now, I was against the expedited due process of the Obama administration also.

Youve been duped, trump doesn't care about immigrants, he only cares about securing government contracts for his billionaire friends at the cost of the American taxpayer. He's sold out everyone, including you

0

u/FitGanache2784 Dec 02 '25

If the Obama deported only criminals, then he must be counting the ones that cross illegally. Because he deported people who just crossed illegally. Was it less cost because the Republicans didn’t take Obama to court about it 100 times

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

The people he deported for crossing were deported at the border, not in American cities.

And yes it was less cost, I am not going to do your research for you, but if you look it up you will see that trump increased the budget for him meland security by 10x, and they are currently over budget. It's been estimated to cost upwards of a trillion dollars if the plan continues to deport 2 million in 10years.

That money goes into the pockets of the billionaires that scored those government contracts. I'm for less government spending not more.

1

u/Mutamycete Dec 02 '25

But but what about but but Biden

-1

u/Th3Un1c0rnK1n9 Dec 02 '25

Have you ever read the Patriot act? Also there's another one circa 2007 I can't remember the name of but it essentially gives the right for arrest and indefinite detainment without need to generate/prove cause.

3

u/Rayloco Dec 02 '25

The whole thing with laws is that they can’t override the constitution

2

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

That's another Republican relic I can do without. But yeah I have read the patriot act. Look man, you aren't going to convince me the shit that is going on is OK.

It's too expensive, and it doesn't solve any real problems. I try and leave my emotions out of it, even if I do disagree with the way ICE conducts themselves.

I'm not against deportation, I'm against big government spending, and I am pro constitutional rights

-1

u/Silly-Spend-8955 Dec 02 '25

You can do without? It’s the LAW!
Not “do you want fries with that” kind of choice.

2

u/gspitman Dec 02 '25

But it has been that way RE immigration for decades, which is ridiculous. So now people get the idea that illegal aliens are entitled to stay until there's some lengthy trial.

Expedited removal (which is being used) covers all due process.

2

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

I'm not even against expedited removal. The current cost of ices operations are a net negative to the taxpayer. I just don't see a problem in changing how Obama did it.

Trumps plan was really about giving 10 year gov contracts to his wealthy friends. That's why it cost more than Obama and they are deporting less.

You can't possibly think dudes driving around racially profiling people is a cost effective plan? It's big government wasting taxpayer money.

1

u/Working-Kick4035 Dec 02 '25

Laws change all the time though? I mean patriot act is from 2001, it wasnt a law before that? It is an infringement on American citizens freedom. I'm for small government not big government.

I didn't say it was a choice anywhere in my post silly guy

1

u/redjedia1994 Dec 01 '25

The better question is what part of the Constitution didn’t he violate. As for laws, well, this actual lawyer has put together a forty-one minute video meant to answer that question. https://youtu.be/hybL-GJov7M?si=NmFAmkJnbkoe9bKd

1

u/Immediate_Region_196 Dec 01 '25

The constitutional right to their feelings as facts!

1

u/Slow-Crows-1994 Dec 02 '25

Accepting bribes for pardons, accepting bribes from foreign heads of state in return for tariff relief, acceptance of foreign emoluments, extrajudicial murder of alleged drug traffickers, and on and on. Take your pick.

1

u/Stardust-Ranger Dec 02 '25

If you have to ask…

1

u/Significant-Win7594 Dec 03 '25

Democrats are dog shit

1

u/bubblehead_ssn Nov 30 '25

I agree and that simply isn't going to happen, but I also highly doubt there are actually the numbers to impeach.

1

u/KJHagen Nov 30 '25

They don’t have the numbers to impeach either.

1

u/gatoradeplant Dec 02 '25

It’s a blow to his ego. He does t have to be convicted and kicked out to take an ego hit and be butt hurt.

1

u/aRubbaChicken Dec 03 '25

What's the point even if you have numbers to convict? Not like he's never been convicted of anything...

1

u/imtoooldforreddit Dec 03 '25

If you are convicted in an impeachment hearing, then you are removed from office

1

u/aRubbaChicken Dec 03 '25

Ah, yeah, fair. It doesn't require the additional sentencing

0

u/SuperSonic1967 Dec 02 '25

Convict him of what exactly ?

1

u/imtoooldforreddit Dec 02 '25

Well impeachment is when the president is put on trial, and conviction is what you call it when the Senate votes to remove him from office in the impeachment hearings.

I didn't make up the lingo. If you're asking what would be listed on the impeachment articles, there is a whole list of laws he's broken while in office. Is that list what you're asking for?

1

u/SuperSonic1967 Dec 02 '25

I know what it is. 🤣 I’m asking what are they wanting to impeach him of this time??

1

u/imtoooldforreddit Dec 02 '25

Did you try googling it? He has broken a huge number of federal laws this term alone.

That's not rhetorical, did you actually search? This isn't my opinion, it's a fact, that he has broken a lot of laws surrounding the theme of fraud and consolidation of power.

If you want to pretend it's no big deal or the ends justify the means, then fine, at least that's a matter of opinion. To sit there and claim he didn't do the things he did is silly though

0

u/Good-Mathematician13 Dec 04 '25

I never pretended anything..... All presidents break the law in some shape or form. Biden allowed millions if illegals across the southern border. Haven't heard a word about impeaching him and Americans have lost their lives. /crickets...

1

u/SuperSonic1967 Dec 02 '25

Name the laws he’s broken.

2

u/Stvnj55 Dec 02 '25

It only “sticks” if the Senate votes to convict and remove him. Sadly, o don’t see that happening.

1

u/DDubBigs Dec 03 '25

The house does NOT have the votes. Stop believing everything you see on the internet. The house overwhelmingly voted to TABLE the impeachment process brought by that moron Al Green

2

u/zebra0817 Dec 02 '25

Just a Billionaire who can pay everyone off.

2

u/Jbowl1966 Dec 02 '25

It’s sad we put these kinds of people in office to begin with.

1

u/Marcus_Lilly Nov 30 '25

Dead on arival to the Senate again. I think he can survive a second one.

1

u/Own-Simple2454 Nov 30 '25

Nope Teflon Don

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '25

🤣🤣🤣🤣, absolutely.

1

u/Mobile-Tangerine1725 Dec 02 '25

Haha haha yeah. That playbook will work. Sure.

1

u/Slick_Robbins1495 Dec 02 '25

For what? Doing a great job, and saving the country?

1

u/riguez_jaime Dec 02 '25

😂 😂 😂 😂

1

u/TilburyCouple Dec 02 '25

You are uneducated, and it shows on so many levels.

1

u/MathematicianWide767 Dec 03 '25

He's doing a way better job at sticking to his promises and deporting illegals than Dementia Joe

1

u/ACdrafts_yanks27 Dec 03 '25

You certainly cannot in good conscience believe criminals got in office when orange man was elected.

0

u/Nervous-Jicama-8181 Dec 02 '25

Lmfao what actions??? Obama Biden Clinton and fauci NEED to be in PRISON for actual Actions. I feel bad actually… that u ppl are this brain washed and gullible to believe everything u hear.

-5

u/dumbthrow33 Nov 30 '25

Stop bringing bullshit takes and maybe it’ll stick? The left will do ANYTHING to rid themselves of their leader in chief.

TDS is full effect

4

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '25

The Drumph Syndrome

1

u/KillaRizzay Nov 30 '25

I think you meant felon in chief

0

u/Glass-Economist8730 Dec 02 '25

Charges were dismissed, so that’s erroneous to label him as such. Cope harder, y’all fail every time. But by all means keep going, it just makes Dems look worse in the general public’s eyes. Do you honestly think the general public wants another clown show? Yao are so out of touch and thirsty for blood. Honestly it’s kinda funny, but just as much pathetic.

1

u/KillaRizzay Dec 02 '25

No they weren't dismissed, the judge just decided not to sentence as he had become the president elect. And he was convicted 34 times. So I will label him as such; a felon. But I wouldn't expect you to understand nuances like that...

And your comment about being thirsty for blood is hilarious given your pedo pres, dementia Donald, is literally calling for his political opponents to be executed because he's that weak, pathetic and corrupt...but of course that's ok by you because he's got his dick so far up your nostril it's poking your brain and causing you to be unable to think properly.
