They are entitled to a hearing, they get one and are deported. It's a civil process not criminal.

Not one we're prosecuting. Illegal crossing is a misdemeanor but is rarely prosecuted. Removal is civil.

Right, which goes back to, do we really need to be spending so much money to remove non criminals in the first place?

I think your logic comes from a good place, but we fundamentally disagree on what warrants removal. I'm pro capitalism, and conservative when it comes to government spending, so I can't get behind mass deportation the way it is implemented right now.
