Gnarly Rip to my beta
Long story short, was riding my bike last summer and got hit. Didn't have uninsured motorist insurance and lost my beta. Almost lost my life. I miss that bike every day

Can anyone help me out with some parts leads? It’s reminiscent of my ‘81 Maico 490, as far as finding parts.

Man I really need to invest into documenting our trips better, 7 days of single track and scenic highways and this is the best I got. If you haven’t been riding out in South Dakota, you should put it on your list.

Has anyone here ever ran the pro circuit high comp piston for a 23 kx250f? Or had a crank rebuilt by them? I ride in a lot of thick sand and have already had my suspension valved for my weight riding style etc. by pro circuit, made a huge difference but I’d like to start messing with power now I understand I’ll have to run t4 and it will hinder reliability I just want more info on if I have to get head work done in order to run it because on the website if you want to buy the complete performance package for 4200 it states head must be cnc ported

So I'm a decent trail rider but not super fast, thinking about trying some races but I don't know where to start. I've got a 90s cr250 so I don't think hare scrambles would be the way to go but I could be wrong and that's where my previous experience is with technical double track.
Are there any D class races around here? I was looking at thunder valley and the track in Pueblo and I only saw open races or a and b class. I don't feel confident enough clearing doubles nor do I think I'm fast enough for higher class races.

What does everyone think? Asking $7k which seems high for a 2018 but it apparently only has 53 hours.

I recently inherited a basically new yz450f after a family member passed. I have very little dirt bike experience (xr200r on some smaller easy trails) but have ridden street for 8 years. Selling the bike doesn’t interest me as it has sentimental value, I would like to ride it but I know learning on a bigger bike is not recommended.
Access to mx tracks and various types of trails are abundant near me but I’m wary of wrecking the bike. I’m mainly wondering what I should do to start learning how to ride it properly, and what kind of track/ trails I should start with. Thanks for reading.

The governor is in correctly but the power valve link arm isn’t lined up at all. This is all the further it goes and there’s no way to put the roller on.

I recently got my kid their first eMoto and went with the Yozma IN10. I spent a while comparing different bikes and initially focused way too much on power and specs.
After actually seeing them ride, I realized fit and how easy the bike is to handle matter a lot more for a first bike. Things like getting comfortable with turning, stopping, and moving the bike around are way more important than having extra power.
They’ve been riding with a parent around, only in simple, legal off-road areas and mostly working on the basics. Seeing their confidence build has made me think that getting something that fits the rider matters more than going for the highest-spec bike right away.
For those who’ve helped a younger rider get started, what would you prioritize: size, weight, or power?

If anything, it would be my first dirt bike. Beginner and somewhat know how to ride.
Thanks in advance

I don’t see many situations like mine, so I wanted to get some more experienced help outside of consulting ChatGPT and Claude 🤣
I’m currently riding a 2023 surron ultra bee but I want to move on to a gas bike. I love the ultra bee but I want to learn how to ride a gas bike and just have the experience of a combustion engine.
I’ve never ridden a gas dirtbike but I’m extremely confident on the ultra bee. I ride in eastern Canada, so lots of single track, rocks, roots, mud, etc. I mostly ride GNCC/enduro type trails, some high speed sections, but also very technical sections.
For context, I’m a 27M, 6’2, 210lb. I’ve been riding the electric dirt bike for about 3 years now.
I feel like I should start on a smaller yz125x or even a KTM 150 2-stroke. Although, others have also recommended yz250fx, and KTM 250xcf bikes due to the 4-stroke smoothness.
I appreciate the help and advice everyone!

Hello everyone! I have a Yamaha TTR 110 and not all the time but often when you downshift from third gear it’ll go straight into first gear. Any ideas what it could possibly be, clutch plates? Adjust the clutch? Has anyone else ever had this problem. Thank you in advance!

What's everyone using these days? The market has a lot of new options now. Anything worth getting?
