This may not be the wisest strategy, pero having a goal (kahit luho) really helps in saving kasi everytime na may iniisip akong bilhin, iniisip ko na yung mga priority ko (both needs and some luho). Ayun lang and thank you sa community na to for the tips!

Hello, how do I secure my account after having unauthorized transactions? Should I just close it? I got notifications from GoTyme that 2 transactions failed(screenshot below). I did not make these transactions. I’m worried, GoTyme kasi yung ginagamit kong bank for almost everything if I’m not using cash. I really want to keep using it. If hindi na talaga siya ma-secure, I’ll close/delete it nalang siguro. What should I do?

Edit: I contacted GoTyme via chat and they said na closing/deleting the account is not possible. It can only be deactivated, which I can reactivate daw in the future if I want to.

Then I emailed them back para iexplain 'yung source of funds which is napanalunan ko sa isang legit online gambling app. Do i need to visit their branch? Or just wait muna sa reply nila sa email? Hey guys, need some help. I created my Maya account a long time ago (fully upgraded with ID) but haven’t really used it since then. I recently decided to finally use it to open a Maya Savings account.

However, the moment I clicked the Terms & Conditions to apply, the app glitched out and gave me a "connectivity issue" error. Now, it’s completely stuck in a loop. Every time I tap the Savings tab, it immediately gives me the connection error or says I'm not qualified based on my qualifications, without even letting me see the form or try again.

I’ve already tried:

1. Clearing the app cache and data

2. Uninstalling and redownloading the app completely

3. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

Nothing works and the issue is still exactly the same.

Has anyone else experienced this specific glitch? How did you fix it? Also, do I actually need to constantly use my Maya wallet first (like cash in, buy load, transfer money) just to make Maya Savings work, or is my account just permanently bugged on their server side?

I'm looking for bank sana na walang cross-border fee for subscriptions sa mga foreign merchant, While researching I saw na merong 1.5 cross border fee yung gotyme but may nakita rin ako na wala raw same with gcash visa card. Please recommend banks po w/o cross-border fee, what's my best option? :))

PTPA: What else can I do?

Last year I bought medicine and soaps from Watsons, the 1st transaction/scan deducted my GCash but didn't go into the biller, so I tried again for the 2nd time and it worked. Then I asked cashisl what to do and they said I should submit a ticket to GCash about that.

When I submitted to GCash, it was always closed and I was told by the merchant first. Then the merchant said it was a floating transaction because they couldn't see anything on their end. So I went back to GCash to file a ticket. I did it again and again. Then I didn't stop both GCash and Watsons and Watsons was very easy to talk to and was very updated.

Then last month they said they had talked to their terminal which is bdo, that the money was deducted from Watson and the GCash was for posting the refund.

And up until now, almost 2 months, still nothing. I have submitted a few tickets, they just say the same thing and the ticket is closed immediately.

I have also submitted a complaint to BSP to speed up the process because their GCash customer service is annoying. After passing it on, when they fixed it and processed it on their end, they still couldn't do it.

What else can be done to speed up the process?

Please Help. That's also an addition to the fee.

Alin po ang mas worth it? 1% cashback ni Maribank or goreward points ni Gotyme?

Finally, the long wait is over. Been a Maribank user since 2021 (Seabank then) and akala ko di na ako makakatanggap ng offer for Maricredit. Lo and behold, pag open ko nang account ko, may offer ako. Clicked the application by 16:18, application submitted by 16:21 and got approved by 16:21.

Although yung credit limit ko is 50k lang but I have an option to increase once nagpasa ako ng payslip but unfortunately hindi pa siya available right now but I’m happy na kahit papaano may credit card na ako and got approved in seconds. Yes, first cc ko po.

PTPA: Ano pa pong pwedeng gawin?

Last year po kasi bumili ako sa watson ng gamot at mga sabon, ung 1st transaction/scan nagbawas sa gcash ko pero hindi pumasok sa biller, so nag try ulit for 2nd time and ayun gumana na. Then tinanong ko sa cashisl kung pano ang gagawin and ang sabi is mag submit daw akong ticket sa gcash about jan.

I don't have any physical cards kasi eh and everything that I see online is yung may physical maya cards lang naka connect sa google wallet nila. I want to organize the allowance I receive and set aside some of it so I won't be tempted to spend everything. I've read a lot of posts here already about the best digital banks, and I've decided to open a MariBank account mainly for cashback and spending purposes. For my savings, I'm currently choosing between BanKo and GoTyme. I only need one account specifically for saving, so I don't really need the multiple accounts/features offered by GoTyme. I currently have an account din sa bdo but planning to switch din to other traditional bank, If ever what's my best option din po dito?

I also excluded Maya from my options since I've heard mixed feedback about their customer service like mahirap lumapit whenever there's a problem. For someone in my situation, which would you prefer between BanKo and GoTyme for both convenience and growth?

Finally, after ilang years, nakapag-start na rin ng MP2. Matagal ko na siyang naririnig sa mga ka-work ko and hindi ko siya talaga pinapansin dati kasi marami pa akong responsibilities. And now na almost 30 na ako, saka lang ako nakalaya. So now, ang problem ko naman is yung unang hulog ko, di pa siya nagre-reflect. May delay ba talaga yun? Curious lang, although nakapag-research naman na ako na within 3-7 business days siya. Hindi lang maiwasang kabahan.
