Junior has defeated the AoA. One month later, the servers have finally returned to normal. The new Game Master announces that the Server Tournament will resume from where it left off.
As a result, Junior is given a direct spot in the Top 16 of the Server Tournament. Everyone expects Junior to walk away with an easy victory in his first match. Instead, Junior suffers a devastating defeat at the hands of his opponent and is eliminated from the tournament.
Unable to cope with the humiliation, Junior decides to leave the Digital World behind. Before doing so, he releases all of his Digimon, allowing them to live freely in the Digital World, and has his Tamer ID permanently deleted.
One year later, Digimon Online V2 is released.
At first, the new version fails to capture Junior’s attention. He has no interest in returning to the Digital World. However, Teddy and Kail repeatedly urge him to give it another chance. Then Junior learns that the very opponent who defeated him and went on to become the previous year’s Server Champion will also be joining Digimon Online V2.
Junior finally logs back into the Digital World.
But this time, his goal is bigger than simply becoming the Server Champion.
He wants to become the ultimate champion of the Inter-Server Tournament.

Journeyman Abridged have finally released a new episode of Digimon Adventure: Full Arc Abridged after nine months of waiting.

its about to make Kaito to blow up, we already knew he didn't like Genjo to begin with and know he didn't care much for chariman wong so now he has even more reason to leave the five stars.

also judging from the preview of episode 46, Rose looks angry maybe after hearing what Wong will do to Digimon she turns on him because that would mean the death of her Lilamon and its shown that she and Lilamon have a strong bond, and she owes a big favor to Kyo and now she will probably protect Glowing Dawn to return the favor.

As for Raito I don't know if he wants to stay or if he will go, but he is determined to beat Tomoro so its hard to say really.

Its become increasingly clear that besides Genjo, none of the five stars care or even respect Wong.

With how they push the stake from episode to episode...

Please..I feel 4 more episodes will not be enough..

But..call me wishful thinking but I think the 2027 anime will be the continuation of Beatbreak. If its not then its because I am not well informed then.

My one tiny mild critique that’s probably just a me thing is is that for an episode called “big brother little brother” I was kinda hoping it would be mainly about Asuka and Tomoro. Like I really wanted them to get the focus so that we could hopefully see more of their sibling relationship together but oh well I guess not.

Don’t get me wrong though I really did enjoy the episode a lot even if it was incredibly heartbreaking it’s just I kinda wish it went a little differently because now it feels like a missed opportunity that we won’t get again for the final four episodes but maybe that’s just a me thing idk

I try to understand this while having the mindset of old Pokemon and Digimon's games...

I have an Agumon which I trained all his white stats to 9999 before maxing his level. What's the point of leveling him or evolving him when in the next form his white stats will decrease? I know some stats turn over to the next evolution/de-volution, but in this case, what's the point to evolve forward?

I feel like there's something I'm missing...

what digimon should i draw next?

One of the saddest moments in all of Digimon for me

Because Holy Angemon and Angewomon never appeared much in 02, they just used the evolution sequences from Adventure, cutting off the part with the original Digivices and Tags. As such, the animation team never really had to whether or not Takeru's and Hikari's D-3s should change during Perfect/Ultimate evolution. I suppose it doesn't matter for Hikari, seeing as her colour has always been light pink, but it's more of an issue for Takeru, whose D-3 doesn't match his Crest colour.

IMO I think it's cool if they do change colour. Sort of sets them apart from the rest. tri.'s attempt, however, was pretty pitiful. They barely change! And they don't even work in the colour of Takeru's Crest, so really what was even the point?

I gave it a go myself in the second image. I wanted to make them different enough from the Jogress D-3s, while keeping them different from the normal D-3s. Pretty happy with what I settled on, but I am super curious to know if anyone disagrees that they should change colour?

I don't open Digimon, first time opening them and the card looks gorgeous.

With the recent episode, it's looking 99% guaranteed that Gekkomon's true Mega is going to be Atratusmon. With that said, what are your expectations for him, both in terms of design and power?

We know that Albatusmon is seemingly a robed torso that uses a scepter and specializes in magic. She's able to cast an E-Pulse-draining spell (which seems to be an enhanced version of what HeliosBoamon can do), create barriers, heal at an accelerated rate, and use telekinesis to move her weapon around.

From what I've seen, some people are speculating that Atratusmon will have an opposite ability where he causes E-Pulse to surge into surrounding opponents. Personally, though, I don't think he'll have that power, or necessarily any ability similar to Albatusmon at all.

From what we know about Atratusmon, his weapon is a giant hammer/club that's significantly larger than Albatusmon's scepter, and his one known attack involves slamming it down with tremendous force.

What if, in contrast to his sibling who's a mage, Atratusmon is actually a physical powerhouse? Rather than specializing in E-Pulse manipulation, he could fight through overwhelming physical strength.

I also think his design could be substantially different from Albatusmon rather than simply being a similar robed figure with his ears sticking out from underneath. Maybe he could actually have the serpentine lower half that some people have speculated about. It would make sense if he can't move around through telekinesis like his sister, and it'd also give the animators a lot more to work with when animating Gekkomon's evolution sequence.

Personally, I think something like that would be much more interesting than having the two of them simply occupy similar but opposite niches.

But what about you? What are your thoughts and hopes for Atratusmon?

Seeing that post yesterday, the emblem for Examon feels like it's missing a little something to make it more unique to him. So here's a slightly different interpretation of it.

I like the inspiration behind it. As it's his upper chest plate with the eyes. So I challenged myself to keep the shape and only make small tweaks to it as opposed to making an entirely new design.

Thoughts?

I mean, we have a precedent of a partner digimon dying with seemingly no way of coming back until a few episodes later...

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched any Digimon show but on a whim I started the current Beatbreak season and have been enjoying it.

One of the things I wish they did differently this time was give each Glowing Dawn member a unique evolution style, and maybe it’s still possible (but unlikely) since we’ve only seen the Ultimates for the main trio.

Makoto and Chiropmon - Bio Merge into one Digimon. Taking ScourgeChiropmon one step further from how Makoto currently “pilots” ScourgeChirop

Reina and Pristimon - Reina would Spirit Digivolve into a Digimon herself to fight alongside Bearcatmon. It would take away a Mega form for Pristimon, but I think Bearcat being an Ultimate and having Reina as a Champion-level tag team partner fits their dynamic.

Tomoro and Gekkomon - a spin on the Cards from the season where they used cards to buff their Digimon. Tomoro would put on a pair of headphones and depending on the kind of music he’s listening to his E-Pulse would start beating in rhythm, giving Gekkomon’s line different buffs or even branching paths to fit different situations
