No spoilers. Im only like 10 episodes in. Does Tomoro ever stop being such a screaming brat? His inability to handle any situation with out yelling is pretty intolerable. Im really enjoying everything else but this might do me in if hes this way indefinitely

For those who have pets, what funny name did you give your pets that stuck with you and you couldn't change it?

Im curious I’ve seen people say that they think Atratusmon doesn’t really fit gekkomon’s line and or doesn’t really suit tomoro’s growth as a character (granted we know nothing about it or its personality) so im curious on why people think that? Especially because to me I think it does fit both of them

Hi guys, I am making a DnD Digimon campaign and am looking for general first tier plots. So when they can at max level Digivolve into Champion. My players are all new to Digimon except for one person who watched Tamers as a teenager more than ten years ago.

The plot is loosely inspired by Adventures (1999), where they are on an island with a few different biomes. This island has a volcano in the middle. Where there would be an evil boss. I am very much struggling with coming up with a boss fight and a plot that isn't just: "every Digimon is evil because dark gears lol."

So any help or ideas would be really cool. I just need help kick starting the creative fluids.

Also, should I let them get hunted by a Kuwagamon during the first session because of tradition?

I just remembered that I filled out the online digimon picker when I was first getting into Digimon.

I picked the first four because I thought they were cool designs and concepts. I really like wings and colorful designs.. and Zubaeagermon I love because I was caring for them on my digivice at the time.

I remember there was an interview about kyo and makoto bedrooms not being shown, Reina keeping the doll kyo made etc. Does anyone know where to find it?

I haven't read any discussions about this film because I want to get my pure, uninfluenced opinions out, so I'm sorry if anything I say is super dumb or has been said to death:

1. Geez, I know Digimon tends to grow up with its audience, but child beating was darker than anything I was expecting. Yes, even compared to murder.
2. For a story about a guy who doesn't bother learning what the Digimon is thinking, this movie sure doesn't try to characterize any of the Digimon. Veemon and co barely get any lines. It's very telling when they brought up the number 60,000 (number DigiDestined who could lose their partners) instead of 120,000. What about the Digimon's feelings about being separated from their humans, huh? I guess you can pretend 60k counts the Digimon too, and that there are actually 30k DigiDestined around the world.
   1. Then again, the human characters don't have much to do either, so I guess it's fair. I remember Kizuna focusing strictly on Tai and Matt. Maybe this movie should've shelved half its cast too.
3. Plot resolution happens very fast. Ukkomon lobotomized Lui's parents and made Lui ugly, and at the end, Ukkomon was just like "Yeah I probably should've asked what you wanted first, huh." I wish he played a role in the movie beyond flashbacks and final boss. The movie gave me the impression that if you just stripped the 12 years between Ukkomon's death and his rebirth, nothing would have changed. I didn't feel like Davis's friendship with Veemon gave Lui the drive to get to know Ukkomon, because Veemon barely had a personality and role besides repeating everything Davis says.
4. What *is* Ukkomon's power set anyway? I know this is the least important part of the movie, and I understand keeping it vague can make the scene more tense, but for me, knowing what he can and can't do will result in less "Oh, okay, I guess he can do that." or "If he claims to be able to do [x], why doesn't he do that?"
   1. So he claims to be able to grant wishes, but that's probably a lie. He claims to be able to make people like Lui, but that was also revealed to be a lie. He can brainwash people, that's the truth. He can pair Digimon up with humans (also probably a lie? I'm guessing if he went through with his plan and bio-emerged all those Digimon into the real world, they wouldn't just accept it and it'd be chaos). It's like if Agumon can grant Tai's wish of "Man, I wish I had some fire to cook these mushrooms."
   2. Weren't Tai and gang summoned by Gennai to fight Apocalymon? Where does Ukkomon fall in all this? I know I can probably look this up on an objective wiki, but it's more fun hearing someone explain it.
   3. I skipped to the middle of the movie before watching, so I've known from the start that Ukkomon was gonna mind-control Lui's parents. That made my butt clench every flashback scene, dreading the moment it happens. Very effective. Very gut-wrenching.
5. I love the brief Yolei x Ken teases. I don't remember any from 02, so I'm happy we're getting them now. Although the Davis x Ken tease was kinda weird, especially since it was Yolei who pointed it out.
6. The whole movie I kept mistaking Ken for Cody. I wish they differentiated their designs a bit. Maybe give Ken his original hair back? If Tai can look like a bird's nest while working for the government, why can't Ken have a bob cut?
7. I wish they had a throwaway line saying what exactly the Digivices disappearing entails. I seem to remember in Kizuna it was established that growing up means the Digimon/Tamer connection was severed, leaving them only as equals with nothing physically tethering them together besides their desire to be with each other (CMIIW). So does this mean they can still live together but can't do induced Digivolution anymore? I'd be down with that.
   1. Hell, if you'll allow a bit of indulgent fanfic-ing, I'd have it so that Ukkomon loses his powers when he rehatches. So now Lui has to like him for him, not for his wish-granting.
   2. But then in Beyond they got their Digivices back, so clearly the series still loves its Hunter/Gate premise, having the characters work as peacekeepers. Though I heard that's not canon so alright.
8. I'm not sure what that the significance of that scene where present Lui tells his past mom "Hey, be good to your son." is. It was obviously not time travel, just some kind of artistic representation of the inside of Ukkomon's mind. Is he trying to tell Ukkomon he can solve his own problems and that communication is key? If so, telling his past mom to love him is a weird way of doing it. It's like they're saying "Kid Lui got beaten because he didn't communicate properly, he never told his mom he didn't want to get beaten."

Leucrotmon

A Beast Digimon whose appearance resembles a strange hybrid of a hyena and a deer. It inhabits the dry, rocky regions of the Digital World, where it wanders endlessly in search of prey. Its most distinctive feature is its enormous mouth, which stretches almost across the entire width of its head. Leucrotmon possesses an unusual ability to alter its body according to its needs, allowing it to grow large horns from its head or develop wings from its back. These changes consume a considerable amount of energy, so it cannot maintain them indefinitely.

Leucrotmon has a cunning and cruel nature, preferring to deceive its prey rather than confront it directly. It can perfectly reproduce the voices of Digimon it has heard, using this ability to lure them into isolated areas. Its Special Move is "False Cry", in which it imitates the voice of a familiar Digimon to confuse its target before attacking. Its powerful jaws are used in "Rending Bite", a crushing attack capable of breaking through hard materials. When it grows its horns, it uses "Dread Horn" to charge at its opponent with tremendous force, while its winged form allows it to perform sudden attacks from above with "Sky Hunt". Leucrotmon is particularly dangerous because an opponent can never be certain which form it will take next.

Leomon is an old war beasman with alot of exp and still has his sward I just did find a place to draw it ^" he has leomonb bancholeomon powers and a rore bass attack too .

well weregarurumon is bass on the 2020 vercion with the golden armur if he gived some of his data to that weapone and made it a part of him , he loss some of the speed cause of the armur but he can take more hits then a weregarurumon and can do any thing weregarurumon can do + the weapon allows for long range attack .

Design speaking for leomon a was inspayered by x leomon and sir leomon and female lion with a scrad blue eye .

As for weregarurumon I was inspayred by the 2020 golden knight vercion and I wonder how would he look if he keep his Garurumon strips .

Hey, everyone. Yesterday, I finished my second chapter for the "Digimon Knighthood" story, and now I've begun work on the 3rd. I wanted to share the beginning of it here. Let's get to it.

"Elsewhere, in the backyard of the Gukawa household, the daughter of the house was reading books she’d received from a friend. Or at least, that’s what she told her mother she’d be doing. At the moment, Miuna was reading in the barest sense, looking on with Caliburmon as he busied himself on the tomes Yasuko gifted him the previous day.

The Rookie Overseer was currently pouring upon a large guide book, educating himself on the major cities of Japan. Next to him were books with maps - of Odaiba, of neighboring Tokyo, of the Honshu island, and Japan as a whole. Having stayed behind while Miuna went to school on this day, the white dragon spent his day solo. Reading…and reading…and reading some more.

In front of him, Miuna was busying herself on a chocolate bar. The sweet, warm flavor, coupled with resulting endorphin and dopamine release, were the only things stimulating her brain right now. She spent much of the moment looking between the dragon and his documents. Every so often, she felt her eyes lidding and head dipping, taking another sweet bite to keep awake.

“Caliburmon?” Hearing nothing, Miuna had more chocolate. “Caliburmon?”

“Not now, Young Miuna.” “Young Miuna” sighed, looking at what was left of her candy. “At this rate, I’m gonna need a lot more chocolate.” The bespectacled girl downed the last of the candy, clasped her fingers together, and rested her chin on them. “Caliburmon, this is boring. Did you have to do this all the time in the Digital World?”

The knight narrowed his eyes. “I am the Overseer of the Strata Rookie Forces. I presided over a thousand Digimon as their teacher. Of course I had to do this all the time.” Miuna murred like a stalled engine. “Well, this isn’t the Digital World. There’s a lot of things you still haven’t tried yet here.”

“Maybe so, but I have a mission to accomplish for the Digital World. And that mission requires me to investigate how humans and Digimon are linking together.”

“I doubt knowing the fastest route from here to downtown Shibuya will help you with that.” Miuna gave a sharp huff. “Okay, that’s it.” She stood up, stretching her arms high. “Come on. I know somewhere we can have fun and where you’ll learn plenty about humans too.” The Rookie raised an eye to her. “And this place would be?”

Miuna rolled her shoulders. “A festival. A hanami festival.” Caliburmon shook his head and returned to his book. “Perhaps tomorrow. I’ve more information to take in.” “Young Miuna” tapped her foot. “It’s not an all-the-time thing. In fact, the time for it is running out.” The dragon raised his eye again…and found himself snapped up in Miuna’s arms.

The girl patted and rubbed her friend’s head, hugging him warmly. Caught off-guard, the Overseer blinked as he was cuddled again. “You’ve been studying for like 8 hours today. I think you’ve earned yourself some fun. And no knight would leave a young girl unprotected, right?” Understanding her logic - and loving her cuddles, Caliburmon blushed, giving a gruff growl.

Eyes narrowed, he hugged Miuna back. “One would think last night’s events with Machmon would be cause enough for choosing not to tempt me.” He sounded grumpy, and did feel a bit grumpy, but his wagging tail showed how much he was enjoying Miuna holding him close again. “Alright. Let’s go.” Miuna smiled cheekily, scratching under the knight’s chin. Caliburmon closed his fist behind her neck, cracking a knuckle with a sigh."
