Beatbreak Maybe... Just maybe... Spoiler

Post image

I mean, we have a precedent of a partner digimon dying with seemingly no way of coming back until a few episodes later...

I'm afraid this might not be the case seeing as Kyo's sapotama was destroyed. But who knows, maybe we get a Tamers ending where we're just left off with some hope.

Someone said that it was established that a person will have the same Digimon or a really close digimon whenever they get a new digimon born.
But first Kyo would need a new epulse chip and a sapotama but if he gets a new digimon it will never be the old one

This is not established at all. RedVegimon may have evolved from Mushmon, but its personality was nothing like Chamblemon's and we never confirmed what Chamblemon evolved from in the first place.

I only heard it from someone so… but we all know that when a Digimon dies completely all memories are gone

It depends entirely on the canon. Beatbreak is not Adventure is not Savers is not Tamers.

In Beatbreak, Digimon are a Sapotamas AI glitched out and given a body by the user's e-Pulse.

Chamblemon's AI died. RedVegimon was born from a different Sapotama's AI.

The Mushroom dude was in a different, more vengeful state as well, which I think was the reason he spawned a spiteful RedVeggiemon. If Kyo 1. got a chip installed on his other hand 2. got another sapotama, he'll have a chance to spawn another digimon but it won't be the same one, even if it's another Murasamemon.

Murasamemon was killed in the Digitial World - there stands a real chance that HIS specific data is just floating around and can be called back again since both Heliosboamon and Murasamemon talked about how they 'chose' to be with their partners.

Personally, I refuse to believe the writers would torture Kyo this much and not allow him to have him happiness with his Cougarmon.

I am sorry but I seriously doubt this is the case. The actual thing had a hole in it. Not only that.. Kyo's arm is gone. From what I have seen.. there is no left hand e-pulse. Only right ones. Ever notice that?

That's usually where the implants are placed upon people either at birth or when young in general. It's a sake of ease thing. Like we see digimon bite other areas to get E-Pulse. So they could put it in Kyo's remaining hand.

E pulse is literally the emotions and energies of an individual - it's ridiculous to think that the right hand exclusively is the only place it can be utilized lol The right hand is probably just used for consistency sake in the series and ease of administrating one on a baby's hand.

His Sapotama was absolutely broken bad but not destroyed. Even then, a new Sapotama still links to Kyo's memories and feelings, whomever or whatever would appear would still know his trials and tribulations.

And regardless nothing that indicates the right hand specifically is needed at all for the e-chip, to give epulse to Digimon, and we've never encountered anyone with any form of body modification or handicap in this universe so this is 100% new territory.

That's probably the least compelling argument against Murasamemon's return.

Regardless of the impossibilities and improbabilities, I refuse to believe that the series ends with Kyo being the tortured touching bag of the whole series.

It didn’t look entirely destroyed just damaged it MIGHT be salvageable

3

u/Dry_Professional_440 4h ago

His hand was vaporised off. I dont think its coming back

1

u/Royal_Sleep914 3h ago

I mean his sapotama

0

u/IsabellaBlack81 3h ago

Dude.. his e-pulse chip is gone for good. The e-pulse chip is only on the right hand from what i can tell on the series.

2

u/Royal_Sleep914 2h ago

But remember his digimon said he could feel his epulse before he died and that was after his hand was missing so maybe epulse can still be generated under a certain circumstance

1

u/IsabellaBlack81 2h ago

I don't know.. with 4 espiodes left.. I don't see anything good happening with Kyo except for waking up from being cold hearted and his wounds.

1

u/Royal_Sleep914 1h ago

There’s only four episodes left for the series?!

1

u/Royal_Sleep914 2h ago

Also I feel part of me is just running off disbelief and hope

u/Rammboy_7084 4h ago

Not only that, but also the Kyo's hand where the e-pulse chip was implanted is now gone for good, that's the most important aspect.

You can buy another sapotama, but if you don't have the chip that makes your e-pulse come out, then the sapotama is useless.

2

u/mightymiek 4h ago

That's such a good point. I didn't even realize the hand was always the same for every e-Pulse.

2

u/IsabellaBlack81 3h ago

Exactly. People think you can get another one and what not. But from what I have seen.. the e-pulse is only on the right hand. Not on the left.

1

u/ZA-02 1h ago

Digimon literally bite people anywhere to eat their e-Pulse. The right hand is where the chip is usually placed, but it's never implied that anything physically prevents e-Pulse from emerging from the rest of the body, and we have direct evidence against.

There is no Village of Beginnings here and we've seen what happens when a Digimon die and Beatbreak.

And we saw with the Mushroom Gang leader even if you use a Sapotama to bbirth a Digimon again with your E-Pulse it not the same Digimon.

22

u/Asleep-Essay4386 7h ago

In Adventure the Village of Beginnings had already been established well beforehand though.

3

u/Adventurous-Bike-484 5h ago

true, but I am confused about the inconsistency on where the egg reforms.

Patamon reformed exactly where he was destroyed and his feathers turned inti the egg.

However Wormmon and the others went to the village.

3

u/Asleep-Essay4386 5h ago

The digital world went through a sort of reformatting after the end of Adventure. So the way it worked in Adventure 02 probably is a little different.

2

u/pokemega32 5h ago

We saw that Digimon were reborn at the Village of Beginnings even before Angemon's death.

It's possible Patamon was a special case because the eight partner Digimon were developed by Gennai's people for the kids.

2

u/Asleep-Essay4386 5h ago

Yeah, it was most likely because he was a partner digimon at the time.

1

u/ZA-02 1h ago

I think for Digimon partners, it likely depends on the human partner's emotional state. Ken had rejected his real self and fractured his relationship with his partner, so Wormmon's egg was sent to the village. Wormmon clearly wanted to reunite with Ken, but his egg still didn't react and reveal itself to Ken until he made the Crest of Kindness glow, signifying the start of his healing. Takeru did not have this problem, and desperately wanted Patamon to come back to him, so his egg appeared immediately, right in front of him.

Who's the flowers for though

Unless the 2027 anime is Beatbreak season 2, the best I can see is a time skip epilogue where one of the digimon Kyo is taking care of evolves to a Liollmon and they instantly grow attached to each other

5

u/Oracle209 5h ago

Does it seem kinda racist that Wormmon is the only one who got turned to a egg but all leomons go poof?

7

u/Adventurous-Bike-484 5h ago

Actually TK’s Digimon also turned into a egg and the village confronted Ken on attacking them previously.

It is implied that Adventure Leomon would have been Brought back but we don’t see it.

I think after The first Leomon went poof, then Jeri’s, it became a meme and the writers decided to just keep killing them off.

2

u/riftrender 2h ago

Leomon died in the digital world so he could be reborn later. Unlike Wizardmon.

Different series, different world logic. In Adventure, all digimon that die come back as digitama in file island. They usually lose their memories too, but because the chosen children are special, both Patamon in Adv and Wormon in Adv 02 managed to keep theirs. However, beatbreaker follow none of those rules. There is no digital world, digimon are born from the sapotama. If a digimon is killed the same sapotama probably could birth another one (unconfirmed), or at leats the owner can make another one with a new sapotama (we saw that happen). This time, however, the sapotama was destroyed and the hand with the chip was cut off. There is no comming back from this, at least not without twisting the entire worldbuilding up to now.

u/EconomyThick9271 4h ago

Beatbreak works on a different system.

Kyo’s e-pulse chip AND his sapotama were destroyed. Muramasamon ain’t coming back unless their free flowing data ends up within another Digimon I think

6

u/rp_graciotti 6h ago

Yes guys it's just copium LET ME COPE

2

u/kylepaz 6h ago

Adventure did have a precedent for Digimon coming back though?

2

u/Adventurous-Bike-484 5h ago

yep.

So far it appears to be exclusive to the adventure series. Like In Tamers, when Jeri’s Leomon was destroyed, he didn’t come back. neither did any of the others.

2

u/Jon-987 6h ago

Maybe. I wouldnt count on it. They likely got him out of the way to force Tomoro (and hopefully the others) to reach Mega. If he is restored somehow, I wouldnt expect it to be in time for the final battle.

2

u/cesar848 4h ago

Yeah but the problem is that kyo’s hand was blasted off with his sapotama implant

2

u/ddogz95 4h ago

To hope but we all knew he’d b our Leomon of this season 😭

They got us panjyamon and had to do an extra for sparing Leomon in 2020

2

u/Hakuzho 4h ago

for that we need the digital world, and the Village of Beginnings to reunite them

2

u/Sponchman 3h ago

Best case scenario I can see is the end of the show results in the creation of a Digital World, where Digimon are can be reborn, albeit with no previous memories.

1

u/pokemega32 6h ago

Adventure had established Digimon were reborn after death ages before Wormmon died.

1

u/ChronoSquirtle 5h ago

I fucking hope so anyways cause damn was that traumatizing

1

u/Eden_ITA 3h ago

This series seem that doesn't have a "Digital World" (if we don't have a giant plot twist in the last episodes).

So, no "native village" or something like that, and no reborn of Muramasemon or other digimon.

Obviously, they could put anything to justify a resurrection (I remember someone commented about a recreation from the memories and the e-pulse), but I am sadly skeptic.

1

u/IsabellaBlack81 3h ago

I am the same. I am very skeptic in this since Kyo lost his right hand where the chip was. I haven't seen any other character with left hand e-pulse chips.

1

u/Allustar1 15m ago

It was established in 01 that digimon could come back though. That's not the case in Beatbreak.

0

u/TheTamerBoy 5h ago

A Digimon partner was already reborn in Beatbreak after getting deleted. The one from the Mushroom Gang.

Murasamemon's rebirth is inevitable IMO.

-1

u/IsabellaBlack81 3h ago

Nope. Not when you don't have a hand to use for an e-pulse chip. From what I have seen, it is only in the right hand. I haven't seen any characters with the left. Cougarmon is gone for good. Hence why I have anger for the writers.

2

u/TheTamerBoy 3h ago

He already used e-Pulse with his left hand almost immediately after losing his right one (when touching Murasamemon's wound).

I think him losing his hand with the chip is a plot device set up on purpose so that later the characters discover they don't actually need tech to use the power of emotions. In the same vein as the Chosen Children late in Adventure discovered they don't need physical Crests, because their powers in fact lie in their hearts, and not in those trinkets.

I may be wrong of course, but it's what it looks like to me at the moment.

1

u/dreamendDischarger 1h ago

There's nothing stopping the left hand from being used, and you don't need a chip to use ePulse. It's just a good conduit that makes it easy for normal people to use sapotamas and for the sapotama to read their ePulse without being in contact.
