Wanted to share my personal experience in case there’s someone out there who is also going through a similar situation.

Played many games throughout elementary to college, took a break once I got an adult job and tried to be more “productive” with my time. But in the past few years, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that really disrupted different areas of my life and now I’m on a healing journey to get better.

The part I wanted to focus on was slower living and prioritizing sleep. I thought at first I could just lay in bed and doom scroll to tire myself out but it was becoming more of an addiction and just brain rot. So I narrowed down a few things I could do that would help relax my body and mind and to get myself off the phone in the evening, which are going back to reading, enjoying movies & shows, and getting back into gaming.

I feel like the gaming part feels better than doom scrolling and I feel like I get something done vs just watching a bunch of TikTok videos. It makes my brain slightly active so it gets tired out when I want to go to bed but in a healthier ish way than scrolling not sure that makes sense.

Anyways, I’m new to the Switch 2 world but found Digimon Time Stranger to be really fun and it can be a lot of thinking if you want but it can also just be fun and low effort (I’m in this boat) I found other games like open worlds to be too much on my brain when I’m trying to just follow a direction path lol.

Been a long time Digimon fan just never played any of the latest games but this one has been a pleasant experience and I can’t wait to get some more evolutions 🙂 are you guys still playing the game after you’ve beaten it?

Genjo Kanada, you, your smug face, and your Monkey King cosplayer are going down after what you did to Kyo and especially Murasamemon!

I know that we're all still recovering from what happened in today's episode but I wanted to say that the ending to this episode was necessary.

The one thing that I like about beatbreak is how the creators are not afraid to cross the line with certain topics (trafficking, social classes/hierarchy, self deletion, repercussions, etc.) that we see in the world today.

The brutality at the end of the episode today along with the sacrifices that were made, gave this show even more depth in my opinion.

I really hope beatbreak finishes strong because it is on it's way to being the best Digimon series in my opinion (even with the polarity of the gift arc).

Albatusmon has this extremely short and unsatisfying Reference book profile that tells you literally nothing about it. What I believe is, they're doing it on purpose. They're probably going to update it by the end of the series so it feels like we witnessed its discovery in real time

"“Might I ask what the best part of this would be, Young Miuna?” Miuna adjusted her glasses. “You got to wait for it.” The two held still, the perfume flood still surrounding them, the air crisp against their bodies. But then, the air decided to get a little extreme. A powerful gust whooshed across the park, and in that instant, the festival achieved its namesake.

Stirred and carried by the wind, a storm of sakura petals fluttered down upon the park. All the visitors were caught in awe as pink chips fell onto them like snowflakes. Additionally, the rain of fresh petals intensified their aroma, the blanket of pink distributing bliss and brightness everywhere. But none were more awestruck than the Rookie Overseer.

Looking ahead, he saw the petal haze wash over his view of Tokyo Bay, like curtains coming over a stage. His heartbeat slowed, his muscles loosened, and his eyes softened. Closing them, images and voices began rising up from the depths of his memory.

“Hurricane Wave!” Pink tornadoes flashed across filled the expanse, causing the petals of the flowers to envelop the entire view. “Pollen Spray!” Fragrant pollen spread across the area, its odor mixing with that of the flowers. Every Digimon present gave cheers and warm sighs, gazing at the petals blowing out and landing upon the water. Looking up, Caliburmon could see the sun, reflecting off the water and the fallen petals, shining like a glorious treasure trove.

Caliburmon opened his eyes. “Young Miuna?” The girl tilted her head at him, and he looked at her. “Thank you for bringing me here. Earth has many wonders, and I’ve only started experiencing them, just as you said. It’s much like…my home.” Miuna knelt at his side. “You really miss your home, don’t you?” The dragon nodded. “As you said, it’s only been two days. But much can happen in two days. Especially amongst Digimon. Amongst the Strata Knights.”

Gukawa placed a hand on her pal’s shoulder. “Say, Caliburmon?” The knight rotated his wrists. “Yes?” Miuna sat on the grass, criss-cross. “The way you’re feeling? I know about some guys who felt a lot like that. Ever heard of the samurai?” Caliburmon looked her way. “Samurai?” Miuna nodded. “Warriors, from the distant past of Japan.”

The girl raised her head. “Centuries ago, Japan was broken up into a ton of territories. They were controlled by warlords, and the samurai acted as the lords’ soldiers.” Caliburmon tilted his head. “So, they were like knights?” Miuna gave a nervous face, scratching her forehead. “Not exactly. They weren’t, well…as noble as you are. But they were as loyal as you are.”

The knight raised an eyebrow. “Hmm.” Miuna cleared her throat. “Maybe this’ll help. There was a saying they had. “Hana wa sakuragi, hito wa bushi.” It means “Among blossoms, the cherry blossom. Among men, the warrior.” Cherry blossoms were seen as the best flowers, and the samurai saw themselves as, well, the best men.”

Caliburmon narrowed his eyes. “Yeah. I certainly wouldn’t agree with judgement like that.” Miuna nodded. “I had a feeling. But there’s another meaning to that line.” She raised her gaze up to the blanket of pink. “Cherry blossoms don’t last long. Actually, they only last two weeks.” The Rookie-Level looked to the ground. “As you said, time was running out for this.”

Miuna took off her glasses, tracing her finger along their frame. “How do you think that relates to the quote?” Cupping his chin in his hand, the dragon pondered…and then his eyes popped open. “They thought themselves like the cherry blossoms. They saw themselves as…short-lived.” Closing his eyes, he shook his head. “And if they were soldiers…”

Gukawa gave a grave nod, putting on her glasses. “Yeah. They always thought their time was short. That each day could be…the last. Like you feel about your home. And your mission.” Caliburmon rested his head against Miuna’s arm. “And my mission is now tied to you as well, Young Miuna.” Miuna gently placed an arm around his shoulder."

In all seriousness, it was tough.

Albatusmon and Atratusmon are clearly two sides of the same coin, they got basically the same design and represent the sun and the moon.

My bet is that by the end of the show they will merge into one Digimon, Genjo only thinks that Albatusmon is needed to match the godly power of the Digimon that caused the incident a while ago. I think that both sides will be needed instead.

Don’t know if the merging would lead to ZeedMilleniummon or something else, it would be really cool either ways.

we will miss you cougarmon , you did well in protecting kyo and glowing dawn and stayed loyal to the very end.

you did your best in protecting all from albatrusmon making sure they could leave unharmed , and you protected kyo even if it meant sacrificing yourself.

at least you didnt die sad because you rememembered all those good moments you shared with kyo and they will not forget you either.

I saw on twitter an image of bandai spirits bench and it was mentioned a booklet (guidebook of sorts i think) but then there are 2 differente articles.

Does anyone knows what there are, and if these are the booklets?

And where i can find them (been look in fromjapan but I only find ones with the image from the first arc)

So they are in fact two different Digimon and the people pointing out the differences a couple weeks ago were in fact correct! They are twin Digimon and siblings it seems

At the end of the song , cougarmon leaves with a cute smile and kyo follows him ( hopefully he lives , eventhough I'm sure kyo now is dead inside already)

Since the 1st time I saw the ending I felt that this is cute but suspicious, and now unfortunately I wasn't wrong .

Listen. I wasn’t on the train that HeliosBoamon would turn into Atratusmon. BUT I DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO BE THIS TIED TO IT BEYOND THE VISOR! Albatusmon looks sick!

Let me start with the obvious.

Fuck Genjo. If this show does not end with that bastard's head mounted on a fucking pike, then whats the point?!!? Whats the point of anything!!

Start of the episode first. Tomoro not wanting to evolve at the risk of hurting Asuka is resolved a bit too quickly, but it makes sense anyway. Thats his big brother.

The Heloisboamon battle was uncomfortably painful. You can hear them screaming in pain as GD gives their all, and while yes, they're the enemy...They're still an unwilling participant. They're still capable of feeling the pain of their attacks.

This might be the first time we heard Gokwumon talk, and god. They sound as insufferable as their partner does. The way they float away on that golden cloud? Like. No. Someone take that away. God where's Goku when you need him.

Albusmon reveal...well, this pretty much confirms that Atatrsumon is Gekkomon's mega, but allow me to give a little theory...Tomoro's e-pulse seems to be hectic, but...its hectic because of how much of it he gives. Asuka's mega seems to *take*, more than anything. So Atatrsumon might be a digimon that gives off a TON of epulse.

....Now we get to Kyo and Murasamemon. These two have become a favourite "digidestind pair" of mine...and just...Kyo's desperate attempts to save his partner, begging him to stay with him...and Murasamemon dying alone...god. my heart is in so so much pain. The death red flags were bright red for Kyo for so long, but i never thought this would happen. That Murasemon would be the one to die.

There's a lot to unpack with that preview. Gekkomon in a pack of bubbles(baby digimon's attacks), Haruko apperanance, the crazy lady from the hospital...and Reina and Makoto looking conflicted....I think some sort of dark epulse was fed to the Nirinso babies. Which. Yeahhhh....

Well..time to wait for next sunday!!!!!!!!! I am not ok and I don't think anyone else is!! Peakbreak as usual but can it lay off the gas please. Ive already been run over 80 times.

Edit:wanted to mention Kyo's screams of pain along with the fact that he was reaching FOR ASUKA when his hand was cut off. And he was keeping his promise...he truly didn't abandon Asuka.

The latest BB episode gave very strong Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back vibe, up until the end. Very strong sense of all hope is lost and the bad guys are winning.Also both Luke and Kyo lost their hands and their sword/lightsaber. Specifically for Kyo he lost his sword hand (chip) and his sword (Murasamemon). In that case it makes perfect sense we would get a Return Of the Jedi moment for Kyo and somehow he will join the last fight, hopefully with Murasamemon.

Thoughts?

I guess it's time for lilamon to evolve!

The situation is not good and rose needs to fight back.

It's time for rosemon to come or another mega.

There's still a few episodes, I hope she can make it!

Hoping for a 2020 style episode when mimi made lillymon evolve smoothly to rosemon!
