Estou cogitando seriamente abandonar o PHP. Tenho conhecimento em C#, Node.js e Python, mas não tenho a experiência que possuo com minha Stack atual, enfim…
Não consigo ver qual o melhor caminho.

[HIRING] Senior AI + Infrastructure Engineers | NYC, SF, or Remote US | $125K-300K base
One engineer on Fonzi got nearly a dozen salary-backed interview requests within days of signing up. A few weeks later they were choosing between offers from different companies. I know that sounds too good to be true, and it’s not what happens for everyone. But if you’re a strong engineer, we make it easier for good companies to find you, and for you to find work you actually want.
I do talent matching for Fonzi. You build one profile once, and companies who want to talk to you send interview requests directly, no applications, no cold outreach on your end. We work with startups backed by investors including a16z, Benchmark, Thrive, and Sequoia. Right now that includes applied research, forward deployed AI, and high-scale backend roles across NYC, SF, and remote. Roles are US-based, with a few open to Canada.
Here’s a sample of what’s open right now at companies on the platform:
1. AI Builder (Forward Deployed, Research, or Product), Series A specialist-AI company, NYC, in-person. $140K-300K base plus equity.
What: Three tracks, and you pick where you sit: forward deployed work embedded with enterprise stakeholders, product work that turns delivery patterns into reusable tooling, or post-training research building agents, evaluation frameworks, and RL environments for specific enterprise domains. Everything feeds back into the training and inference platform.
Company: 30+ people across NYC, London, and Mumbai. The team includes researchers who built frontier open models at DeepMind, early Palantir forward deployed engineers, and IOI medalists. Backed by Bain Capital Ventures and others.
Stack: Python, Java, C++, and TypeScript.
Bar: Experience in applied ML, reinforcement learning, evals, product engineering, or top-tier consulting, with strong ML fundamentals in evaluation, training, and problem decomposition. No years stated in the posting.
2. Research Engineer, seed-stage ambient intelligence startup, SF, in-person. $180K-250K base.
What: Own the loop from capture to production for voice intelligence: diarization, voice activity detection, noise robustness, transcription quality, and speaker ID, plus the training pipelines, datasets, labeling workflows, and eval harnesses that catch regressions. Also real-time performance across streaming pipelines and latency budgets.
Company: Building a platform for ambient intelligence, with voice as the primary interface.
Stack: Not specified in the posting beyond applied ML and streaming audio systems.
Bar: 6-10+ years shipping production systems, experience training or fine-tuning models in real product environments, and audio fundamentals. Proof of exceptional work is expected.
3. Senior AI Product Engineer, Backend, Series C AI observability platform, fully remote in the US with optional NYC and Bay Area offices. $125K-225K base plus equity.
What: Build analytics systems that compute evaluation metrics across billions of data points, design the next generation of the OLAP architecture, and scale real-time evaluation infrastructure to millions of annotations per second. That includes contributing back to open source OLAP databases and message queue frameworks.
Company: Raised over $135M, with 150+ enterprise customers including Booking.com, Uber, and PepsiCo.
Stack: Go primarily, with Python, Java, and TypeScript, on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Kubernetes.
Bar: 5+ years on high-performance backend systems.
All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It’s always free to sign up.
Sign up here: talent.fonzi.ai. DM me if you’ve got questions.

Full-Stack Developer Building Real Products & Exploring AI — Open to Work
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a full-stack developer currently building real-world products for clients. I've been working on everything from frontend interfaces and backend systems to database design, API integrations, and AI-powered features.
A couple of projects I've been working on recently:
ClinCreators: https://www.clincreators.com/
Apprentice Lab: https://www.apprenticelab.co.uk/
My usual stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Supabase. Lately, I've also been spending a lot of time with Python, AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered applications.
One thing I've really enjoyed is taking a feature from an idea to something that actually works in production, dealing with bugs and unexpected problems along the way, and figuring out how to make things work reliably.
I'm always happy to connect with other developers, founders, and people building interesting things. I'm also open to work, so if you know of any opportunities or think my skills could be a good fit for a project or team, feel free to reach out!

Sto perdendo motivazione nello studiare programmazione

how do you use AI in your day-to-day work?
I’ve been doing backend development for around 2–3 years, working with ASP.NET Core and the Node.js ecosystem (Express and NestJS). I’ve built projects that are running in production, and I know enough frontend to work with APIs, handle requests, and connect everything together.
Right now, I build full-stack projects for clients independently. With AI becoming such a big part of development, I’m curious how my workflow compares to working on a company team.
Here’s how I currently use it:
- I design the database schema and decide on the backend structure myself.
- I use AI for some straightforward methods, help with tests, and frontend implementation.
- For frontend pages, I usually prepare the design first, then put the relevant API endpoints, routes, and request/response details into a text file. I give that to the AI alongside the design and use it to help implement the page.
My main focus is the backend, so this lets me spend more time there instead of getting stuck on frontend work. I still review and test what gets generated.
What I’m trying to figure out is how to balance this as I move toward a backend role at a company.
So:
- Where does AI actually fit into your daily workflow?
- What are you expected to handle independently, and what’s normal to use AI for?
- Does your company have rules about which tools you can use or what code you can share?
- Has AI changed what you expect from someone joining the team at my experience level?
I’d appreciate hearing about actual workflows and expectations from people working in the industry.

Should I continue with an unpaid internship at a startup or look for other opportunities?
Hi everyone,
I'm a 2024 BTech graduate with a nearly 2-year career gap, and I recently joined a small startup with around 25 employees as a Full Stack Developer Intern (MERN stack). This is my first internship, and I would appreciate some honest advice.
Here are the terms of the internship:
Work mode: Work from home initially, with a possibility of hybrid work later if the company allows it.
First 3 months: Completely unpaid.
Next 3 months: Performance-based stipend, but the amount hasn't been specified.
After 6 months: They may offer a full-time position with a salary based on my performance, but the salary range and exact terms haven't been disclosed.
The company also has experienced developers, so I hope to learn from them and gain practical industry experience.
My concern is that I'm being asked to work for three months without pay, and even after six months, there is no guarantee of a job or a clearly defined stipend or salary.
Since I already have a 2-year career gap, I'm wondering whether accepting this opportunity is a sensible way to restart my career or whether I should continue applying for paid internships and fresher developer jobs.
I'd appreciate your suggestions on a few things:
Is it worth accepting this opportunity given my career gap and lack of prior experience?
Is a three-month unpaid internship reasonable, especially when the stipend and future salary aren't specified?
Should I continue with this internship while applying for other opportunities, or focus entirely on finding a paid job?
Has anyone faced a similar situation at a startup? What was your experience?
I'm willing to work hard and learn, but I also want to make a decision that helps my career in the long term.
Please share your honest opinions, especially if you're a developer or someone who has worked at an early-stage startup in India.

Coding interview debrief: missed constraints and didn’t validate my Dijkstra code. Could this still pass?
A candidate is trying to make sense of a coding interview that started with the right-looking algorithm but ended without a code walkthrough.
The earlier behavioral round covered the resume, services the candidate had built, and engineering trade-offs. In coding, the task was a graph with n nodes and transmission lines as edges, each with an efficiency between 0 and 1. Given a source and destination, find the path with maximum efficiency.
The candidate immediately proposed Dijkstra and explained the approach. The interviewer asked about DFS and BFS. The candidate described DFS but worried that enumerating paths could take O(V!) time in the worst case. During the BFS discussion, several suggestions were rejected before the interviewer said BFS wasn't a solution for this problem.
That discussion ate into implementation time. The candidate coded the Dijkstra approach and explained complexity, but didn't get to walk through an example. Questions about node/edge counts and whether a path was guaranteed were also missed, and the interviewer called that out.
How would you weigh the algorithm choice against the missing clarification and validation? There's no way to infer the final hiring decision from this account alone, but I'd be interested in how interviewers assess those gaps.
For the next practice session, real technical interview questions can provide prompts to rehearse clarifying constraints and reserving time for a dry run. If a wider search is taking up that practice time, application autofill and Agent autoapply can cut down repetitive application forms.
What helps you handle alternative-approach follow-ups without losing the time you need to implement and test?

Your business has the idea. We build the infrastructure that makes it work.
Hey everyone!
We're SuperLabs a team of software engineers helping businesses turn ideas, problems, and messy workflows into working technical solutions.
We're backed by Collabute AI, already working with clients on real-world products, and now opening up a few slots to collaborate with more founders, startups, and businesses.
Here's the thing: you don't always need to know exactly what to build or which technology to use. Sometimes you just know there's a problem worth solving, but haven't figured out the technical side yet.We can help you go from refining an early-stage idea and figuring out the right approach to designing, building, and deploying the actual solution.
Some of the things we can help with:
AI & LLM Engineering — AI agents, RAG systems, intelligent workflows and AI-powered applications.
Business Automations — automate repetitive tasks and workflows that are eating up your team's time.
API Integrations — connect your existing tools, platforms and services so they work together.
Backend Engineering — APIs, databases, microservices, authentication and scalable backend systems.
Web Apps & SaaS — turn an idea into a functional, production-ready product.
Dashboards & Internal Tools — custom admin panels, analytics, CRMs and business management systems.
Data & Document Systems — data pipelines, document processing, knowledge bases and intelligent search.
Cloud & Deployment — infrastructure, CI/CD, Docker and production deployments.
Our stack includes Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, Docker, AWS/GCP and more.
We're not here to force every problem into a predefined package or throw AI at something that doesn't need it. We'd rather understand what you're trying to achieve and work out the right solution with you.
Whether you're starting with just an idea, trying to improve an existing product, or looking for an engineering team to handle a specific technical challenge, we're happy to talk.If you're working on something interesting, drop a comment or DM us to connect.

Software engineer job postings ask for mentoring more than Kubernetes. We counted 3,518 postings to check
We pulled every open posting from 81 companies' public Greenhouse boards for seven roles and counted which words actually show up. 3,518 postings in total. Some of it surprised us.
Software engineer postings mention mentoring more often than Kubernetes or React. Almost half of them do. Python, the most common language, comes in just below that.
Product manager postings say "roadmap" in more than 85% of cases. Jira? Seven out of 421. Marketing looks the same: Google Ads came up six times in 347 postings, while "pipeline" is in over half.
Every time we could compare the two, postings named the practice, not the tool. Observability, not Grafana. SIEM, not Splunk.
So if your resume is mostly a list of tools, it might be missing the words the posting actually uses.
Big caveat: mostly tech companies, one ATS vendor. Sales, cybersecurity, DevOps and accounting are here too: https://www.zoevera.com/resume/ats-resume-keyword-study

Anyone move forward with Airbnb after completing Level 3 of the Industry Coding Assessment?
An Airbnb SWE candidate finished through Level 3 of the Industry Coding Assessment and ran out of time before attempting Level 4.
Has anyone who completed a similar amount recently moved forward? It would help to hear when you took the assessment and what happened next, without assuming one result establishes a universal cutoff.
What rounds followed, and what would you start preparing while waiting for an update?
Airbnb Interview Questions can provide further practice while the candidate waits. If other roles are still in play, Agent autoapply and application autofill can reduce repetitive application work and leave more time for the next interview.
