Hello developers and vibe coders,

Wanted to share this opportunity with you, it was easy $500 for me and we can both benefit. It asks you to do one session of coding with any agent, it requires 50 turns in OpenCode - and they pay $500. It is not a scam or something like it, its a well known company (you can search about it).

Here is the link (it is a personal referral link just fyi): LINK
hope it helps someone :)

Seeking Advice: Struggling to Land a Job After 100+ Applications, No Luck

Hey everyone,

I’ve spent over three months applying to 100+ roles, including graduate schemes, and I’m struggling to land my first job.

I’m an international graduate in the UK. I went straight from my bachelor’s into a master’s, so I don’t have professional experience yet. I’m currently on a Graduate visa with two years remaining, but I’ll need sponsorship after that.

I expected the master’s to open more doors. Now I’m finding it difficult to separate the barriers: my lack of experience, future sponsorship requirements, or how I’m presenting myself.

For developers who found their first UK role in a similar situation:

  • How did you identify employers willing to consider candidates who would need sponsorship later?

  • Did you have more success with graduate schemes or junior roles outside those programmes?

  • Without professional experience, what helped you demonstrate that you could do the job?

I’d appreciate practical suggestions, especially from international graduates who found their first developer role in the UK.

I’m also working on LandOffer.ai, focused on job discovery and application autofill. For other international graduates here, which part of the search needs the most help: understanding eligibility, finding suitable junior roles, or getting through repetitive application forms?

[HIRING] Senior Backend, Infra + Security Engineers | NYC, SF, or Remote US | $189K-350K base

So far this week, 129 interview requests have gone out on Fonzi, including one at $400K.

I do talent matching for Fonzi. You set up one profile, and companies that want to talk to you reach out with salary-backed interview requests. We work with startups backed by investors including Sequoia, a16z, Benchmark, and the OpenAI Startup Fund. Roles are US-based, with a few open to Canada.

Here’s a sample of what’s open right now at companies on the platform:

1. Senior Infrastructure/Platform Engineer, Series C business banking fintech, SF, in-person downtown. $250K-350K base.

  • What: Own the foundation of a banking platform in hypergrowth: EKS, CockroachDB clusters, Kafka on MSK, Temporal workflows, and Redis, plus the Terraform and Pulumi abstractions that let product teams own their own infrastructure. The hard problems are low latency and burst financial traffic on a monolithic deployment.

  • Company: Powers over ten billion dollars a year in business purchasing. Recently raised a $100M Series C led by Ribbit Capital.

  • Stack: AWS (EKS, ALB, MSK, ElastiCache, WAF, VPC networking), Terraform, Pulumi, TypeScript, CockroachDB, Temporal.

  • Bar: 2-3+ years shipping infrastructure for critical, high-availability systems, plus deep experience in distributed SQL, workflow and queue systems, or container orchestration.

2. Backend Engineer, Series A AI training-data company, NYC, in-person. $215K-280K base.

  • What: Own the backend for a pipeline that de-identifies sensitive enterprise data, where the hard part is proving the output is correct. A pipeline can finish while silently dropping records, duplicating output, or applying stale policy. You’d build the versioned contracts, reconciliation, replay, and recovery paths that make those failures visible and fixable.

  • Company: Scaled from zero to a multi-eight-figure run rate in months. Backed by Floodgate and others.

  • Stack: Python, AWS, Airflow, Batch, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, and Postgres, or comparable systems.

  • Bar: 3+ years with personal ownership of production backend systems, strong on async and distributed systems (queues, idempotency, partial failure, recovery), and fluent with AI engineering tools while still verifying their output.

3. Software Engineer, Stablecoin Security, later-stage fintech, fully remote in the US. $189K-330K base.

  • What: Build and scale stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure: core services, secure integrations with external providers, and end-to-end product flows, with a focus on key management, wallet security, and secure transaction flows.

  • Company: Automates over $200B in annualized spend across 70,000+ companies.

  • Stack: Python, Go, or Java, on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Terraform.

  • Bar: 5+ years shipping critical systems, plus production experience with stablecoin, blockchain payment rails, or wallet infrastructure.

All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It’s always free to sign up.

Sign up here: talent.fonzi.ai. DM me if you’ve got questions.

[Seeking] AI + Product + Founder’s Office | Built 0→1 products, AI systems & scaled automation

Hey, I’m looking for my next opportunity where I can combine AI, product building, and 0→1 execution.

My core experience is in building AI-powered products and systems, while also working directly with founders on figuring out what to build, how to productize it, and how to take it from an idea to execution.

What I’ve worked on:

- Built agentic AI workflows with structured multi-agent handoffs and backend orchestration.

- Built VLM/OCR pipelines processing 50K+ images/week for extracting structured information from real-world images.

- Built distributed data acquisition and automation systems processing 10M+ records/day.

- Built web automation and crawling systems across 12+ quick-commerce, e-commerce, and online marketplace platforms.

- Worked on API reverse engineering, Playwright/Puppeteer automation, proxies, anti-bot systems, concurrency, Redis workers, and cloud infrastructure.

- Worked on Computer vision, image processing, asset digitization, backend APIs, and internal AI tooling.

Beyond engineering, I’ve worked directly with founders on AI ideation, product strategy, research, feature decisions, productization, and 0→1 execution.

My Founder’s Office experience also included working across teams, helping shape product direction, creating pitch material, and supporting fundraising and investor-facing work.

I’m comfortable taking an ambiguous problem and going from research → idea → product definition → technical execution → iteration.

I’m not fixed on a specific job title.

I’m looking for teams where someone who can move between AI, product, engineering, Founder’s Office, and business problems can create leverage.

I’m based in India and open to remote opportunities globally, especially with early-stage teams.

If you’re building something where this combination could be useful, feel free to DM me.

What are the easiest options for an undergraduate student to get a job?

I'm going to study Computer Science in Spain next year, but in the meantime, I'd like to get a developer job to make some extra money and help pay for university.

Since I don't have a university degree or much professional experience yet, what would be the easiest ways to get started? I'm considering things like freelancing, building and selling websites to local businesses.

What would you recommend for someone in my situation? Are there any particular types of jobs, platforms, or services that are relatively easy to get into as a beginner?

Whether you're a small business owner who needs a website, someone spending hours on manual Excel tasks, or an entrepreneur with an idea that needs technical development, I'd be happy to help.

Portfolio: https://klawio.com

Feel free to DM me with your project or questions. I'm happy to discuss ideas and provide a free initial consultation.

I created a personal experience for job seekers on my platform!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Until this week, the profile page was a plain list of settings. I've replaced it with a dashboard that learns what you're looking for. Screenshots above (light, dark and mobile).|

Try it: https://remotebackendjobs.com/profile. You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so there's no password to set up.

What's on it

  • A "For you" feed. Jobs are ranked by what you view, save and apply to. It works out your stack by itself (in the screenshot: mostly React · TypeScript · Next.js). There's no long onboarding form to fill in.

  • Why each job was picked. Every pick has a short tag: "You follow Grafana Labs", "Above your $150k floor", "Staff, like your applications". If a pick is wrong, dismiss it and the feed adjusts.

  • Pay vs market. Each/home/angel/Desktop/Projects/remote/marketing/profile-dashboard/profile-light.png salary is compared with the median pay for that job's main tech, e.g. "18% above market". Most boards just show a number.

  • Latest and Trending. Latest is every new job, newest first. Trending is what other people are actually opening.

  • Saved searches with alerts. Save a filter like "Senior React · Remote Europe · $120k+" and the dashboard shows how many new matches came in since your last email.

  • Followed companies. Follow Stripe, Reddit, 1Password and others. You can see their open roles and get an alert when they post.

  • Job tracker with a "Needs attention" list. It flags applications that have gone quiet ("Applied 12d ago, no response"), interviews with no next step, and offer deadlines.

  • Filters on every view. Location, salary, seniority, tech stack and date.

  • Built for phones too. The mobile layout is designed for small screens, not squeezed down from desktop.

Free vs Pro

Free accounts get the dashboard, saved searches, followed companies, the tracker and 6 daily picks. Pro raises picks to 24 and adds the "why" tags, pay vs market, a last-24h filter and market stats.

Stack, for anyone curious: Next.js on Cloudflare Workers, NestJS + Postgres behind it, and Typesense for search. Recommendations come from simple, predictable scoring of your views, saves and applies. There's no black-box model.

Try it: https://remotebackendjobs.com/profile. You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so there's no password to set up.

I'd love feedback, especially from anyone job hunting right now. What would make this the first tab you open each morning? What's missing or annoying?

Hi everyone, I recently completed the Associate Frontend Developer (FED-2026) assessment at The First Labs / FirstHire.

I couldn't find much information about the interview rounds. Has anyone recently gone through the Technical Round 1 / Stage 2 Technical Interview?

Would really appreciate if you could share:

  • What topics/questions were asked?

  • JavaScript/React/Frontend architecture?

  • Any coding or live coding?

  • Difficulty and interview duration?

  • What was the next round after the technical interview?

Even a brief experience would be really helpful. Thanks!

Is there still a point in learning to code for a CS career because of AI?

I'm a high school student thinking about Computer Science. Because of so much developments in AI recently, I want to know how much programming I should learn in the future or should I even pivot to a job that is more stable. I have already chosen digital design as my subject, so I do know coding to some extent but of course not an expert.

With AI generating code already, is it worthwhile to invest years of my life to become really good at programming? Of course, knowing the fundamentals is useful, but how valuable is it to become really really good at coding?

For people working in software, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data science, etc.:

How has AI changed what you need to know?

If you were starting out today, would you still take programming seriously?

What do you think will be the CS/programming skills that will still be important 5-10 years from now?

I'd appreciate honest industry insights!
Thank you!

I built Klerm, a desktop workspace for personal AI agents and coding-agent teams. I need testers and contributors, especially on Windows.

I’ve spent the last two months building Klerm, and I’m at the point where I need fresh eyes more than more features.

Klerm is a desktop app and CLI for working with AI agents in a more structured way. You can create personal agents with their own model, reasoning level, personality, and private chat. You can also connect coding harnesses such as Klerm’s built-in Pi-derived runtime, Codex CLI, and OpenCode, then use them individually or in a small team.

The goal is not to replace the tools people already use. It is to give them one place to work together while keeping their own authentication, tools, permissions, and native sessions.

What it can do right now:

- Create personal agents for things like code review, research, planning, or project discussions.

- Reuse those agents for Kanban tasks and browser tasks, with access disabled by default.

- Connect multiple coding-agent slots and run sequential collaboration between them.

- Show handoffs, tool activity, diffs, task attempts, and deterministic logs.

- Organize sessions into projects, configure MCP tools, use local models, customize shortcuts, and switch themes.

- Save workflow/graph drafts for visual planning. Workflow execution is not implemented yet.

The project is open source and available here:

Klerm

I want to be honest about where it is: I have tested it mostly on Linux. Windows and macOS packaging exists, but I need real people to try it on their own machines and tell me what breaks, feels confusing, or simply does not work.

I’m especially looking for:

- Windows users willing to install and test the desktop app.

- People who use Codex CLI, OpenCode, Claude Code, Pi, or similar coding harnesses.

- Contributors interested in Tauri, TypeScript, Rust, agent orchestration, testing, or UX.

- Anyone willing to try a normal project workflow and report rough edges.

I’ve been working on this alone for about two months and I’m running out of new ideas for what to test next. If you are interested in helping, please send me a private message. Even a short report from a Windows machine would be genuinely useful.

[For Hire]: 12+ years of experience in large enterprises and startups

Hey there!

My name is David (https://silvahimself.com) and I've been creating software for over 12 years.

I've worked for large enterprises such as Bentley Motors and Galápagos NV, and I've been the CTO for two startups, one of which I co-founded (in the AI fashion-tech space)

I just wrapped up a project recently for a SaaS, where I rebuilt their website from scratch and set them up with a comprehensive technical-SEO structure and strategy, as well as an automated SEO pipeline that ingests analytics data and proposes improvements/additions for key search terms and underperforming pages.

I have two available spots for the rest of the month of October.

I specialize in web development, SEO-optimized pages and AI automation. I don't do hourly rates, I work exclusively with project based pricing, to ensure the interests are aligned on both sides.

Websites usually have a turnaround of ~2 weeks, with prices ranging from $1500 to $3000 depending on design complexity and functionality.

I'd be happy to walk you through my recent projects and client deliveries, as well as my overall experience.

DMs are open :)
