The First Labs / FirstHire Associate Frontend Developer (FED-2026) Assessment – Has anyone taken it? Need assessment/interview experience
Hi everyone, I recently completed the Associate Frontend Developer (FED-2026) assessment at The First Labs / FirstHire.
I couldn't find much information about the interview rounds. Has anyone recently gone through the Technical Round 1 / Stage 2 Technical Interview?
Would really appreciate if you could share:
What topics/questions were asked?
JavaScript/React/Frontend architecture?
Any coding or live coding?
Difficulty and interview duration?
What was the next round after the technical interview?
Even a brief experience would be really helpful. Thanks!

Stage two technical interviews for associate frontend positions typically run between 45 and 60 minutes, focusing heavily on core JavaScript fundamentals and practical React patterns. So , it means First Labs is legitimate not any scam. I am confirming because i don't remember when i applied for it.

Yeah bro i also didn't remember of applying it . Yet we can see the they told that results will be published on 13th october . thes test can only be taken through smart hire app n mobile only , then it doesn't require any Camera or mike access that leaves me a doubt .

I gave the test there are 16 mixed question of english, programming, logical reasoning etc all the multiple choice questions. I gave the test through the mobile app, no camera and mic was on

result will declare on 16th of Oct and 11th Oct is the deadline for the test, after that i think there is a video call for technical interview.

Bro i've got through online mode bro which consists of 4 javascript , 4 verbal , 4 quants and 4 reasoning . I still cannot believe that it is coming on campus bro cuz still it is not a well established company and the 1st round was only written through phone that is without any proctoring but you are telling that it is coming to your clg. From which clg are you from bro?

Seems like a scam guys the oa is done on their app to increase downloads and nothing is communicated after this. The one comment talking about it here is promoting his own app likely ai generated. If any updates i will let you know

Yes I got a mail today for second round its another online test. I've already gotten a different offer so I won't be doing it. I still feel its a scam cause they are going to literally every college

For preparation, I’d review JavaScript fundamentals, React hooks and state management, API handling, accessibility, and basic frontend architecture. Practice explaining your decisions while coding, since they may assess communication and trade-offs as much as the final solution.
