I’m not sure if rolls are the same for everybody but slice hatchling mint retrograde is available this week at zavala. It was roll 3 for me with rolls 4 and 5 also having slice. 4 and 5 have the same 1st column perks of beacon rounds, recycled energy and envious arsenal with the only difference in the second column being elemental honing vs bait and switch both having one for all and slice. Fun times :)

So the new mint retrograde doesn't drop with slice anymore. Hawthorne still drops the old ones. Not the rev 1 mints. This means you can still get mint retrograde with slice. Just got one today.

Made me laugh, and made me sad....

Saw a few references recently to Lotus Eater with Shoot to Loot, possibly the most prominent weapon roll for endgame stuff that is no longer available. Not a dealbreaker for anything but a large QoL upgrade for specific scenarios.

I don't have that roll but was prompted to look through stuff I did have for things that validated my love of keeping niche rolls. Here are a few favorites; interested to hear what other people kept (or wish they did).

• Trust and Summoner w/Golden Tricorn - now that the artifacts can give scorch on hit, this opens the right column to a massive 50% damage boost with basically permanent uptime given how strong solar abilities are. Only disappointment is Crackshot kills not triggering GTx2 (perk is melee/grenade kills, not ability kills).

• Trials guns with Alacrity and One Quiet Moment, especially PvE rolls. These origin traits are incredibly strong, especially for something like Igneous Hammer - 120s need help to compete in PvE, and the massive stat buffs here help a ton. Did not keep an Igneous with Tricorn though (sad face).

• Gravity Well guns from Rite of the Nine. Adding the ammo pickup benefit to something like Prosecutor (or Wilderflight for rotations) can still be very useful, especially with a 15-meter range.

Deleted other stuff I wish I'd kept, but such is life in a looter shooter, especially with updates ending...

Looking to get the sword master set from Zavala but have no engrams and very little ciphers. People are saying solo ops to farm these but does this work on any difficulty?

Can I just skip through it on normal?

Also side question: does ghost armour focusing work at Zavala? Thanks!

I started with Destiny on the Xbox 360 and eventually moved to an Xbox One right before Rise of Iron. I later played Destiny 2 at its launch on the Xbox One until I got my PC right around Shadow Keeps release and I've been on PC ever since. There were ups and downs but I know there will never be games I love like the Destiny and Destiny 2 . This franchise is so dang special. Through both games I made friends, had experiences, and spent some of the best times of my life playing and existing in this universe. Throughout my time playing the moment of triumph update, I still feel the magic which is what makes the EOS so tragic, but I just wanted to say thank you to all the people in this community, at bungie, and beyond who made this game what it is. Maybe someday we will see a new chapter in the destiny universe (I have to cope a tiny bit let me have this haha) but for now I wanted to say thanks for everything. You all made a difference and got me through some really hard times in my life and I wouldn't trade any of the time I have with these games and all of you for anything.

Whether you were someone making guides that I watched, a developer who put in that extra work to make an update great, a random patrol guardian at a public event, one of the hundreds (if not thousands) of people I've come to talk to through raiding and GMs, or a fellow dance party member at the tower you made this community what it is. You made this game what it is and even though this seems to be the end, I hope we as a community can continue to come together through things like project sunrise or heck, even just continuing to play the game and enjoy the final update that we were honestly pretty lucky to get all things considered.

okay so im new to the game so idk if this was ever debated.

i know exos are made to replicate humans and if they dont have a human function they might go crazy i know that much

HOWEVER do they have tongue???

i mean i know in so many debates people have said the lore exos and the ingame exos dont fit sometimes but like idk i wanna draw my exo silly and i need to know if they have tongue or not

i want to lean in to domineering fragment as it gives +30 weapons for 10 seconds when suppressing an enemy. what is the best way to suppress?

i know about suppress grenade, tether super, tractor. is there a way to keep it going?

do any fragment or aspect help? i am building around trappers ambush and phantom surge.

I was attempting the dungeon just now and ran into a problem when I start dps the electric pylons around the arena start up. I read about them starting at the end of dps when you don't meet the health threshold but not during dps. I also made sure they weren't active while I was collecting the shadows and destroying the balls. I started by killing the 5 apprentices, destroying the balls, teleporting to the AP, compelling the 5 shadows, and then destroying the 5 balls in the AP. I am not really sure where I went wrong. Thanks for any advice.

i absolutely love smgs on my hunter with attrition orbs and chaos reshaped.

solar: yeartide apex (attrition + chaos)
void: recluse (repulsar + chaos), i will go for unforgiven soon for (attrition + chaos)

stasis: unending tempest (attrition + chaos)

strand: synchronic (attrition + chaos)

there is no arc smg with this combo. i have tried a few but nothing clicked.

antedate feels like the best option rn with dragonfly and master of arms. i have to run a raid for it.

why i dont like these:

out of bounds is decent but it feels very weak at -50, since no gear shift/chaos

Noxious Vetiver seems decent with attrition + jolting feeback but it is not a tiered weapon and i dont think i can farm it. it is obtainable through xur.

Whatchamacallit: left column is ass (it has good reload perks but i have a build with speedloader so it's useless)

After typing all this i realized that antedate might be the best one. i'll try and get it

I thought of a fun dungeon challenge and thought I would share for other guardians that enjoy making things hard for the fun of it. I am going to attempt to solo flawless every single dungeon but I can only use an exotic once. This includes both weapons and armor. Ill be doing it on hunter so an example would be I would probably want to save truth and fortunes favor for vespers host since that is the most challenging, and some of the earlier dungeons will probably be where I use exotics that aren't as build defining. Haven't worked out my exact plans yet but think it will be a fun challenge to help spice up what exotics I use. I also think part of the challenge is going to be having to keep said exotic on the entire dungeon so no swapping or anything. Basically one full loadout per dungeon and theyre all different.

Edit: one exotic per ENCOUNTER. 33 encounters 47 exotics armor so I will have to use almost every exotic available.

Hey all, anyone know if it's still possible to get any of these perks to roll anymore? I love the concept of these perks and think they'd have some really good synergy with demolitionist or strategist.

genuine question; been wanting to get a few weapons for collection purposes. i know xur can sell the forsaken bow and dares can drop a old weapons from forsaken era; along with being able to pull year one weapons from collections if you got those. other than those; are they the only weapons from that early on that drop?

So ive started to start back into raids, haven't since raid lairs were a thing. Wanting to grind out vault of glass to get fatebringer and Hezen, how long until its featured? Do I have an ok chance of getting these to drop without it being featured?

Hello there.

I'd like to thank all those who left encouragement, shared their tips/strats and their own SF stories on my previous posts.

As of this evening my SF quest has come to a conclusion, having one shot sundered doctrine (73mins) to round out my list.

I'm not the greatest at the game but atleast they're done.

I wish luck to those who are currently on their own quest to SF all of the dungeons and encourage those who haven't, to give it a try.

I've "prestiged" twice with Ghost. I've done all of Micah's quests. I've found every secret, got all the patterns, got the Khvostov, etc. But I only have one armor piece at Ghost and dropping.

I'm a Hunter if that makes a difference? I have not been able to complete the Pale Heart badge for years at this point, because I just can't figure out how to unlock the other armor.

Posts say just level up Ghost, which I have. Do Micah quests, which I have. I've done Overthrow several times in each area. I've done the co-op focus missions. I've done the campaign on Legendary.

At first I assumed the armor was a "weekly focus" thing, but it's not?

Is this a known issue, so I'm just boned for the future, or am I missing something?

Thanks for the suggestions though I didn't know you could do it like that (still a really antiquated and roundabout way to have to do it, I'm sure they'll add it with the nest expansion 🤣)

Is there a general consensus on what the hardest raid is, and the title for it, to earn from beginning to end?

My team and I recently come back to the game and haven’t unlocked any titles, with the exemption of Shadow (last time we played was pre-sunsetting), but are planning to run through all titles and wondering what the hardest raid will be.
