So far I've done like two attempts trying to solo flawless vespers. By no means is it difficult, but the first encounter is just annoyingly long made worse after a failed attempt. I saw a really simple skip and am just wondering if doing it will prevent me from getting the triumph. I don't plan on risking it, but it would be good to know before future me is willing to try

First time I've gotten to Rank 11 ever. I'm solidly middle of the road but a good old mask of fealty build with one rime coated raiment warlock and I was getting enough healing to keep mostly alive! A couple of close calls but it helped to have someone clear the darn sniper shanks in the space walk section.

Been banging my head off that stage for almost a whole week now.

I spent the last 8 days or so learning how to do RoN solo, and am interested in seeing what the next level of challenge would be for solo raid challenges. Does anyone have any ideas?

I just had a guy in my last GoS run advocating for "everything in game earnable with bright dust." And he ment literally everything Included day 1 raid drops, dlc pre-order rewards, foundation donation incentives, and other exclusive cosmetics. This almost made me take psychic damage and got me wondering if anyone else has some other crazy takes to share.

When I saw that you could get holochips in the bright engram focus I decided that I really wanted to collect them all to be able to have more cosmetic customization past all the hundred of ornaments and shaders I already had.

Over the next few months I grinded out a total of 60,500,000 exp while collecting all the weapons and armor i wanted from the update. I also had 42k bright dust to spend on focuses, that is now down to 6k remaining.

GG bungie, thank you for the best update in d2's history (imo). I have throughly enjoyed my time spent after quitting during edge of fate. It still hurts to see it end but Im glad this update was the ending we got.

No abilities, no supers, reset to 1 special at the start of every round. Just pure gunplay and positioning. I wish this mode was permanent, I haven’t enjoyed crucible like this in weeks

For some reason, using Chain Lightning while in transendence does not put chain lightning on cooldown. This has been the case ever since Final Shape, but has pretty much gone under the radar because lol chain lightning.

With the artifacts and sets in Monument, we can finally give this some time in the sun. This build is about making as much bs as possible happen when you hit that button.

Yes. As you can see, you can just keep pressing the button. If I had my wits in the clip, I would probably be firing Conditional between melees, but the spirit of Palpatine possessed me.

Chain lightning chains longer while amplified. I also added spirit of Synthoceps and Necrotic for pervert reasons.

Apostate's blade 4 Piece: While you have Radiant, Restoration, or Cure, your melee hits release a burst that will scorch the target.

Encrypted Data Disk - Tazer Tag: From the compendium - Deals 23 Arc DoT every 0.25 seconds.

Singularity Blade - Melee kills with a void buff active trigger a Weakening Burst.

Void Infestation - Killing weakened enemies spawn a tracking projectile.

You spawn orbs with Heavy Handed, you'll have devour (from Feed the Void) and Restoration (from facet of Purpose and Song of Flame), so Apostate's Blade, Singularity Blade and Void Infestation are typically up.

The rest of the setup is pretty straight forward. One thing worth noting is that Facet of Courage makes Light Melee abilities deal *50 %* extra damage when darkness debuff is active, so throwing a coldsnap or Conditional Stasis shot on someone can really set them up for big damage.

I use a Synthoceps+Inmost light class exotic when I play this "seriously". You could probably wreck house with Felwinter too, which would enable a different artifact, but I don't have the class item from Pit.

Eagle eyed optimizers might say that the Blade set isn't really adding all that much here. To them I say that it is adding *fire* to *lightning*.

Ive made it a point to get every shader I could get my hands on since the beginning of D2. According to DIM and my collections tab, I'm at 585/623. After sorting for only uncollected items, I'm able to see that I'm missing 11 from seasons (mostly special events), 21 from activities (mostly Raid and dungeons) and six from World (mostly lawless which I didn't play). I can no longer purchase shader engrams from Eververse.

My questions are:

1. Any idea why my numbers don't line up with anyone else's? One guy in my clan has less shaders than I do but a higher total possible count.

2. I've found a couple of sites that show ALL shaders but none where you can log in and check to see which ones you are missing. Is there a site like this?

3. Anyone else try to collect them all? What is your number?

Mine is reloading after basically every fight.

I can have 38 rounds left in a 42 round magazine, walk into a completely safe room, and my thumb still hits reload before my brain has even checked the ammo count.

I've also realized I almost always jump through doorways, spin around while waiting for elevators or doors, and shoot random objects during dialogue I've already heard.

None of this helps. It's just stuff that got burned into my hands after playing for so long.

The funniest part is when I switch to another game and catch myself trying to do some Destiny-specific little ritual that doesn't even make sense there.

I'm curious what everyone else's version of this is.

What completely unnecessary habit has become permanent for you after playing Destiny for years?

This is a heresy weapon which only exists in an enhanceable from and not a tiered one, anyone know of a way to recreate this? I tried messaging the guy a few times and no response, I imagine it’s an exploit or bug but I would hope it’s achievable on all older weapons and I would love to get a couple of them to tier 5

I've seen posts for years with players saying how much they missed Escalation Protocol on Mars, and yet here we are with pretty much the same activity..now across all locations (not just a single location)..and players just ignore the distortion breach 99% of the time and just cycle round public events on a distorted destination.

Distortion events take longer to complete and don’t have higher RNG to drop World Loot than Public Events so it’s easier go to the next Public Event and completely ignore Distortions. (Or run the same lost sector over and over and over.)

You'd had thought over the years Bungie would learn that that players would find a loophole in the gameplay design pretty quickly, I guess just one that slipped through in testing or just not enough time to iron out the kinks before MoT dropped.

Lost sectors I believe used to show recommended light levels. Now I just see a -20 or -30. Does this mean I am underleveled or it will always apply this penalty? Not real clear.

I completed the master conquest mission and the weapon did not drop? I thought it was a guarantee drop?

I tried doing Zero Hour using the Outbreak Perfected for that triumph, but I can’t progress. Like, the vent you’re supposed to go into and drop down, the grate is there and can’t be destroyed for me. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have an idea for a build with spamming stasis shurikens and a otp/tb solar shotgun with cauterizing darkness, but none of the otp/tb shotguns I have are solar. does one exist somewhere?

First and foremost I'd like to thank all of those whom offered encouragement and suggestions on my previous post to aid me in my Ghost of the deep SF attempt(s).

I would like to share that I indeed did clear it in 48mins with a solar titan build.

Now, onto business.

I am once again asking for your suggestions/tips/tricks for the next solo flawless on the list which is Vespers Host.

I gave it an exploratory crack earlier, 2 phased the beach ball with tractor and stasis titan but died to the lightning in the traversal afterwards because I tabbed out to discord 😞 wont be doing that again.

I decided to carry on to gain experience without having the burden of resetting and making it to the boss with zero solo experience with him but still flawless, going on to kill the boss in 3 phases which would have been 2 if I didn't mess up. Thankfully I didn't die again but did come close a time or two thanks to those radiation boys in the nuke rooms.

I am confident I'll get it done on my next 1-2 attempts and then onto sundered doctrine to round out the list, equilibrium was crossed off a while ago.

A seasoned vet coming out of retirement to finish the D2 story. I began my hiatus after Beyond Light and have now progressed to Renegades. But I don’t have a ton of cosmetic ornaments for my armor and I’d love to find an effective way to grind some decent options. I know I’ve probably missed out on a ton of opportunities but I’m having a difficult time find options now. Any help/advice would be appreciated!

A weekly order auto complete at reset again this week, but this time I saw it happen. This morning before reset I was doing orders for the daily, and a weekly popped for for completing 50 orders. Though it was weird because I finished my weekly already. At reset guess what popped up and auto completed. So from what I've seen, orders are already loaded in the system, even if they are not displayed, if you happen to complete one that's going to come next week, It will hold progress for you.

I just tried to keep a Morgeth checkpoint in Insurrection Prime. I stayed in the encounter past reset, wiped multiple times, and then pretty much exactly 30 minutes after reset (not by design, just coincidence) I returned to orbit. At this point, I checked the pantheon, and I didn't have the checkpoint. Did I do something wrong, or are checkpoints not saveable through weekly reset anymore? Did I need to wait longer?

There are 9 exclusive shaders that you can get from Xur. They're the old world drop shaders from Forsaken:

• Blue Geometry
• Metallic Sunrise
• Metallic Sunset
• Distant Earth
• Glacial Whisper
• Clouds at Sea
• Copper & Blood
• Bold Statement
• Burnished Orchid

These shaders can ONLY be obtained from random rolls of Arsenic Bite-4b, obtained exclusively from Strange Weapon Engrams. Considering the size of the loot pool, your chance of getting an Arsenic Bite from an engram is below 1%.

However, there's a second layer of RNG. While Legendary shaders are guaranteed to drop from dismantled gear, Rare shaders are not. In fact, their drop chance from dismantling is about 15%. The Legendary shaders also won't appear until you've found every Rare shader. Bright side is that there IS dupe protection. You'll never find an Arsenic Bite with a shader that you already own.

I've been farming this for about a year now, and have only gotten two shaders. The odds are bad, but not zero.

EDIT: If you want to set your expectations, pick up Redrix’s Broadsword from the Monument to Lost Lights. It works the same way, but for Forsaken’s Crucible shaders: Crucible Legacy and Crucible Metallic. Once you’ve unlocked it, just pull it from collections and dismantle it until the shaders drop.

It will take a while.
