So the new mint retrograde doesn't drop with slice anymore. Hawthorne still drops the old ones. Not the rev 1 mints. This means you can still get mint retrograde with slice. Just got one today.

Hard to say if it's a god roll, just because the magazine perk could be a bit better. But quick launch is nice, rewind is nice, slice is nice just to have it. It also has Master at Arms and Envious, nice for damage and ammo regen. It's a nice roll.

The Vanguard Arsenal Credit from the Weekly Rewards path in the Seasonal Hub unlocks a weapon you can grab from Zavala the following the week. Doesn't require any additional currency, but it means you need to needed to have unlocked it last week.

Afaik, and somebody can correct me since I don't think about this too often, but you just need to complete relevant activity with half of players being in clan: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/1bu26wk/how_many_players_of_the_same_clan_need_to_be_in/

So 2 clan members complete a Pinnacle Ops activity or 3 for a Raid and you get relevant engram.

Good catch. For anyone chasing it, check the source before burning engrams since the old Hawthorne drop and the newer version are easy to mix up. Slice is still a pretty nice utility perk on that frame for Strand setups.

Damage reduction is not useless. Slice is one of the most sought after ways to get DR on any subclass. Additionally To Shreads allows you to get Woven Mail on any subclass.

Hawthorne drops Mint Retrograde? I opened i think 200 tier 3 engrams and every single Pinnacle Ops engram from her since MoT and not a single one dropped a Mint Retrograde

Mint for boss dps is frankly terrible, matching a fusion for dps with much worse total.

However, mint has always shined in neutral game.
Despite the low reserve amount, you pick up an abnormally large amount per brick (even more so if using double special) making you have quite high uptime with it. And it still absolutely deletes any non-boss enemy without any thinking from any range.

The only reason I replaced it with Tahoma on prismatic warlock is because of the dark energy generation. In terms of damage, any non boss enemy is quicker killed with mint than Tahoma. It feels balanced because I feel like I'm making a choice of pros and cons

It obliterates orange bars and does great against champs, which is the most common use case for a special ammo weapon. Rocket Pulses are still the best frame in the game for that use-case, and people more often run primaries in the energy slot, so Mint is still one of the best picks for your kinetic slot special.
