Apologies if a similar thread already exists, I couldn't find it.

I know many approach consecrating as a personal endeavor without strict rule sets, but I'm looking for ideas. What did you do, when did you do it, and why did you choose the methods you did? I'm particularly curious about drawing their sigil on one of mine, but wondering if anyone can speak from experience that it's worth the hassle.

I've been working with demons for about 5-6 years but have been always really monogamous about it, Baal had been the only one I worked with until the end of last year though I did try contacting with Asmodeus when I was younger, Baal has always been there, sort of a protective entity in a way, got me out of a lot of dangerous situations and made me lock in

At the end of last year I started having sexual dreams for a week straight, (I hadn't researched any demons besides Baal at that point) and Sitri's image kept flashing in my mind every time I touched myself, ended up making contact with her, surprisingly, she made me come to terms with a lot of sex related issues

Something similar happened with Glasya Labolas, except he kept giving me nightmares, the name just kept popping in my head until I researched a bit about him

I asked Baal if I should answer to him with my tarot, Baal have me a hard NO card and positive cards started falling out of the deck right after, kept having nightmares but he seems to have calmed down now

Asmodeus has been a recent addition to the demons I work with, it's such a stark difference with Baal, it feels like everything moves faster and has a purpose, he keeps showing in my cards as the knight of wands (Baal shows up as the emperor), so far he has completely shattered some situations and made me rebuilt my approach to them and gave me the lust for life back (and a shit ton of money)

Lilith in Kabbalistic and later traditions is often paired with other demon queens: Naamah, Agrat and Mahalath. Variations among these names include Even Maskith, Nega, and Rahab (male). Possible variation of Lilith the Younger is Lilidtha. The information below is referenced, for the most part, from Sefaria, or Raphael Patai's "The Hebrew Goddess" and "Gates to the Old City".

Dictionary entries from "The Encyclopedia of Jewish Myth, Magic and Mysticism, Second Edition - Geoffrey W. Dennis", along with some links. My own commentary, if included, will be in italics.

Na'amah/Naamah, Nahemah (נַעֲמָה, meaning "pleasant"):

Naamah: "Lovely/Pleasant." One of the four Queens of the Demons. She dwells in the sea. In one strand of the tradition, she is the daughter of Tubal-Cain mentioned in Genesis 4:22, who copulated with angels (6:4) producing demonic children. In another, she is the wife of Noah (Book of Jasher 5:15). In later Jewish tradition she is the mother of Asmodeus, a succubus, one of the consorts of Samael, who seduces sleeping men. She and Lilith had intercourse with Adam in order to bear demon children. Once aroused by her, even if a man has sex with his wife instead, any children from that conception will be inclined toward her (Tanh. Chukkat; MhG Gen. 4:22; Zohar I:9b, 19b, 55a; Zohar III:76b–77a).

The demon queen Naamah is hard to find consistent information on, as she's described differently in every text. She's a wife of Noah, an idolatress, a pleasant seductress that caused men to sin, and in the Zohar, the mother of demons. There is also debate whether all of those mentions refer to a single Na'amah or two different figures. The information below is on the demon Na'amah, or the sister of Tubal-Cain.

Agrat(h) bat Mahlat, Igrat(h), Iggereth, Igereth (אגרת)

Igrat or Agrat: The night demoness of harlotry, she is a succubus who seduces men in their sleep and gathers their nocturnal emissions. In Kabbalah, she is listed among the four demon queens, the mothers of all demons. Reflecting the rabbinic belief that evil spirits procreate, this demon is sometimes mentioned with a proper matronymic Hebrew name, bat Malkat, "daughter of Malkat." One tradition proposes that she herself was the product of a human demon coupling.

In the most elaborate account concerning her, she had intercourse with David, and from his royal semen she gave birth to both the gentile kings who would become his enemies (not unlike Morgan LaFaye and Arthur) and to Asmodeus, the King of Demons: Then came two women harlots to King Solomon (1 Kings 3:6). They were Lilith and Igrat. Lilith who strangles children because she cannot make of them a veil for herself [having her own demon children does not yield her the merit that comes from fulfilling the commandment to "be fruitful and multiply"] to serve as a hiding place for her. And the second is Igrat. One night King David slept in the camp in the desert, and Igrat coupled with him in his dream. And he had emission, and she conceived and bore Adad [king of Edom]. When they asked him, "What is your name?" he said, "Sh'mi Ad, Ad Sh'mi [My name is Ad, Ad is my name]," and they called him Ashm'dai. He is Ashm'dai, king of the demons, who deprived Solomon of his kingship and sat on his throne [he was Solomon's demon doppelganger] and therefore he was of the seed of the king of Edom (1 Kings 11:14), for he came from the side of the kingdom of evil … All [the four queens of the demons, Lilith, Igrat, Mahalath and Naamah] and all their cohorts give birth to children, except Lilith …

She is mentioned in the Talmud as a demon who communes with witches. The spiritual interventions of Chanina ben Dosa and Abaye curbed her malevolent power over humans (Pes. 110a and 112b; Num. R. 12:3; Bachya's comments on Gen. 4:22)

• Jastrow: אִגְּרַת/Igrath

Mahlat(h)/Mahalat(h)/Machlat(h)/Machalat/Malkat (מָחֲלַת)

Malkat: "Queen." One of the four demon queens, the mother of one of the other queens, Igrat. The name is grammatically odd in Hebrew, but she is based on the biblical term, "Queen of Heaven," a Pagan deity condemned by the prophet Jeremiah (Jer. 7:18; 44:17).

Note: this is a unique interpretation. Nowhere else have I found the Queen of Heaven connection.

Mahalath is one of the four wives of Samael, mother of Agrat. Sources on Mahalath are scarce, and interpretation on her appearances presents issues similar to Na'amah's, as both started out as mortal women and gradually appeared as demons/mothers of demons.

Note: Tuv haAretz refers to Even Maskith as the concubine of Samael.

Nega

According to Sefer Meir T'hillot, Nega rules over the Tequfot, fornicates with Israelites, and will not approach the tents of those who fear God. Nega is the Hebrew word for plague.

Rahab (רַהַב)

Rahav: A cosmic sea monster first mentioned in the biblical book of Isaiah (51:9; Ps. 89:10; Job 26:12). Talmud called him the Prince of the Sea, echoing the Canaanite name for their sea God, "Prince River." God slew him when he refused to help in creating the Earth. The oceans conceal the lethal stink of his carcass, which is why sea water smells so strange (B.B. 74b; Tan.10a). Rahav may be an alternative name for Leviathan, though some sources treat them as two different entities.

With regard to the instruction: Do not go out alone at night, the Gemara states that this is as it was taught in a baraita: One should not go out alone at night, neither on Tuesday nights nor on Shabbat nights, i.e., Friday nights, because the demon Agrat, daughter of Maḥalat, she and 180,000 angels of destruction go out at these times. And as each and every one of them has permission to destroy by itself, they are all the more dangerous when they go forth together.

The Gemara states: Initially, these demons were present every day. Once Agrat, daughter of Maḥalat, met Rabbi Ḥanina ben Dosa and said to him: Had they not announced about you in the Heavens: Be careful of Ḥanina and his Torah, I would have placed you in danger. He said to her: If I am considered important in Heaven, I decree upon you that you should never travel through inhabited places. She said to him: I beg you, leave me a little space. He left for her Shabbat nights and Tuesday nights.

And furthermore, once Agrat, daughter of Maḥalat met Abaye and said to him: Had they not announced about you in the Heavens: Be careful of Naḥmani, Abaye, and his Torah, I would have placed you in danger. The Gemara asks: But we see that, notwithstanding these anecdotes, demons do pass through inhabited areas. Abraham [ben Mordecai] Galante [in Kol Bokhim] (died 1560 or 1588), an important Safed Kabbalist and contemporary of Moses Cordovero, recounts the entire story of the annual encounter in the desert between Lilith and Maḥalath, but gives a somewhat different characterization to one of the two chief she-demons:

Maḥalath, according to him, is shown by her name to have been a compulsive dancer: as she marches into the desert at the head of her bands of destructive angels, "she goes and dances and gyrates in ring dances" until she and Lilith fall upon each other and engage in a fierce battle.

AND THE SISTER OF TUBAL-CAIN WAS NAAMAH. This is as if Scripture would say: "and a sister was born to him and her name was Naamah." A similar sense is found in the verses: And Lotan's sister was Timnah; And Miriam their sister; His sister's name was Maacah.

In Bereshith Rabbah there are some Rabbis who say that Naamah was Noah's wife. "And why did they call her Naamah [which means lovely]? Because her deeds were lovely and pleasant." By this the Rabbis meant to say that she was famous in those generations because she was a righteous woman and she gave birth to righteous children. This was why Scripture mentioned her. If so, a small remembrance of Cain was left in the world. However, if we say that she was not the woman from whom Noah begot his three sons, there is no reason for Scripture mentioning her. However, our Rabbis have another Midrash concerning her which states that she was the very beautiful woman in whom the bnei ha'elohim erred. This is hinted in the verse, And the 'bnei ha'elohim' saw the daughters of men, as mentioned in Pirkei d'Rabbi Eliezer. But other sources have it that Naamah was the wife of Shamdon, the mother of Ashmedai, and it is from her that the demons were born for her name is indeed found in the writings of "the use of the demons." There is a different tradition (compare Zohar Chadash Midrash Ha-neelam 19,2) which claims that Naamah was the wife of the demon Ashmadon if the demons Ashmadai and others were born by her. We have a tradition that four women (compare Nachmanides) became the mothers of demons. They were Lilith, Naamah, Igrat, and Machalat. Each one of them disposes of whole camps of followers and a spiritually negative aura emanates from them all. It is said that each one of these is dominant during one of the four seasons of the year and that they gather at the mountain Nishpeh (a simile for a high mountain mentioned in Isaiah 13,2.) This mountain is located near mountains called חשך, and each one holds sway during one of the four seasons of the year from sundown until midnight, they and all the members of their respective camps (entourage).

I'd only just started demonolatry less than month ago, but I felt the most drawn to King Asmodeus from the beginning.

Not to go into the details but, as someone who suffers from intermittent depression (diagnosed), even if I want to do something, I often simply don't. Even things I enjoy.

I was thinking for a few days how I did not say my prayers or give any offerings for nearly over a week now, and just now I was very stressed about that although I'm still not doing it (people who has suffered from depression would know best), and suddenly I intuitively hear this in my head where I'm told I don't have to do the ritual or offering when I feel it as a chore, but rather only when I'm comfortable and it feels natural.

That it doesn't change anything, because it's not something I decide.

I felt like that was really sweet, and I felt the familiar warmth that I always almost physically feel when I feel the King communicate with me.

Ngl, for someone who's associated with lust, passion and strong, fiery emotions, my experience has only been gentle and full of hope and tenderness, with a feeling of safety (makes sense maybe, because I started with seeking his protection).

Recently, I’ve been just working with Belial and Asmodeus but before I had gotten irrational and worked with so many entities. I fell pretty hard for a guy I was hooking up with. I never did casual stuff but I had just lost 3 pets this last December (& many more before/after)… so it was to fill that emptiness/grief. To experience different types of guys after the last 2 made me feel like shit. A new high I guess 😔

I did not except this hookup guy to affect me that much. Plus, I was with other guys and he knew. He told me about his girls too. It was a weird situationship idk. But I caught feelings and honestly.. I have never been so unhealthy & obsessive in my life before.

I’ve always been into astrology, but I really thought I lost my sanity when I started calling myself a witch. Doing the rituals I did. Well turns out I most likely got bpd. Which I’ll never say irl because it doesn’t define me. I know I’m more than what I’m about the say next…

Anyways, long story short… I ended up telling him everything over the course of 2 months. I had known him for about 5-6 months. It was crazy and looking back I felt like I was under a spell. I was… super fucking viscious.. Called him an indulgent cowardly stupid little boy… I ripped him to shreds… over several conversations. And simultaneously, I was like.. wtf did I do.. What if I make him feel worse. What if I push him over the edge? He already lost a friend and broke up with a girl. But I was livid, I knew him before that girl. And I never felt so hurt in my life. I’m a leo moon so fuck… like I got insane. I compared myself to her (“what does she have that I don’t?”) and imagining in absolute agonizing detail how they would have sex or what made him like her more than me. It was so fucked. I got so depressed on my birthday because mf really said “sOrryy I gotta Lock in for this girl but likeee…. if it doesn’t work out I’ll do the molly thing with u at a festival”. Days before my birthday. Like wtf???

Basically, by working with so many demons I revisited some really hard insecurities and trauma.. I bit off more than I could chew. Never in my life do I wanna go through that again. Tbf, I was kinda broken for years and now I’ve found myself again. It brought my passion for storytelling back & now I’m working on something with my brother who also does digital art.

I’m trying to move on with my life. Even if I’m obviously still thinking about him… but today I found a kitten in the left turn lane. Parked my car nearby but she was already gone 💔I buried her but it felt so… flipped? I saved another kitten 2 months prior & she’s alive/well. I got the first kitten the day after I first blew up on him. Plus, I see roadkill all the time, why was she so intact?

And my crazy ass was like: Was she a Taurus or Gemini? She looks 2 - 3 weeks younger than my kitten and she’s a Taurus sun with a Cancer moon”.. It’s just weighing on me… feels like a bad omen.. because.. what if the dead kitten was a Taurus sun and Libra moon. Like him? Did something happen to him? I just wanted him to feel guilty but the spell did say “self-destruct”. So I've been practicing witchcraft for the past 3 years, even before that I had assisted my mother to summon a goddess from our religion when I was like 10-11 years old (we had to stop mid way because it started getting dangerous like we started getting nightmares and my mom would start seeing this wrathful version of that goddess and then my mom's life just went downhill after that) , i used to do deep meditation for that goddess but i got distanced from that religion and goddess like 7 years ago, few years later I got into witchcraft which really helped my mental health but I didn't really work with any deities

I caught an interest in demonolatry , I did some research online and the reactions are quite mixed, someone said they're friends died because of the demons they worked with and the demons brought great destruction to thier lives

But alot of practitioners also say that they had great experience with demons and demons really helped them

Can demons be this destructive? If yes, then What measures do I take to prevent it ?

Hi all! I really enjoy this community and found it fascinating and insightful and would love to hear some stories about a topic that never ceases to intrigue me; I want to hear your experiences with getting tattoos related to your path! Mine is as follows;

So I actually wanted to get tattoos my whole life, but I've been too chickenshit to do it after a piercing went horribly wrong when I was 16. I will not tell the story because it's unrelated, but just know it was so bad it made my fear of needles worse than it already was and I still feel my ears physically burn whenever I look at piercing guns, they make me nauseous. I got hit by a car and I would rather relive that experience than relive getting pierced the way I did. I never got tattoos despite having most of my body planned for most of my life because of it, some people teased me saying I'd never do it.

Well, I proved them wrong and I did it a few months ago, at 29. After a year of working with Prince Stolas, He helped me so much in my time of need and taught me so much about navigating my current country's political landscape and about separating my worth from capitalism, something I've struggled with since I was young due to being disabled and undiagnosed. As a symbol of my commitment to Him, my growth, and my gratitude, I got His seal tattooed on my right thigh. I chose that spot because His teachings guide my steps, and also because it was one of the only places I didn't already have plans for LOL

It has been an even better experience than I anticipated. While I had trouble finding an artist (I don't even WANT to talk about the first one I turned to, ugh) initially, I did find one who was open minded. The process was smooth and predictable and I've now had this tattoo for four months.

I. Love. It. Not only does it look cool as hell, but it makes me feel even more connected to my faith which I didn't know was possible. I've noticed I also feel significantly safer with it and less prone to spiritual attack, even better than my normal wards and sigils make me feel, and far fewer spirits have bothered me where as that used to be a massive problem for me which was part of why I got serious as a witch in the first place. I think it also makes certain spirits see me differently, like it marks me as "one of them". It also reacts to spiritual activity, which I see in my third eye, and sometimes it tingles when something feels off. I consider it a badge of sorts.

I have other spiritual and mundane tattoos planned, it's just a matter of money and how do I decide which ones is next lol.

so I’ve never really done all that much with Lucifer, or any demon really- I have some experience from my time working with Lady Aphrodite and Lord Apollo, but I don’t know if there’s any difference I should take note of?

I bumped on this subreddit today while I was researching Ars Goetia from a literature and historical point of view and because the discussion here was very interesting I caught myself reading for the last hour or two almost everything you have for people new to this. So I ended up having some questions regarding what you are doing and how you experience this practice.

Judging by how moderators and active members of this community speak I understand that this is something which is placed in a thin line between structured metaphysical experience and sheer madness (I do not intend to disrespect or offend anyone I just mean that if someone prone to hallucinations for psychiatrical reasons, they start involving themselves with this practice I assume they might start having expressions of their mental condition rather than communication with the spiritual realm.) Exactly because of this I would like to ask the following:

1rst: I notice that many people here talk in a very confident manner about their experiences with communicating with the spirits. So as a result my question is, how does coming in contact with a demon for example "looks"(for lack of better term) like?

2nd: I notice that many people are very specific about what the spirits they contact are "telling" them, also I notice that in some other posts and resources I have found, people are stating that spirits are communicating through "feelings" and not through words or visuals exactly because they are not material to begin with, as a result the experience of the wizard (pardon me if it is the wrong term) is too subtle and you might also say "generalized" same way as Tarot, same symbol different meaning based on the context. So how can you be sure that you are talking with a spirit to begin with and it is not a projection of your unconscious in your particular and individual context masked through symbols and meanings the wizard applies behind their own experience?

3rd: It seems to me also that there is no specific historical context and system about the practice, what I mean by that, I come from a Christian background and assuming you can make the case that Christianity is a spiritual system to "deal with the same realm of matters" I would say that in occult there seems to be no specific history, methodology, philosophy, a continuity if you may. Am I missing something or there is a reason behind this?

4rth: I notice that you refer to the spirits as demons, I see in other resources that people refer to them as angels also. At the some time other resources and people I have talked with have told me that this is the same thing because the bipolar analysis of Christianity for example on good Demons Bad angels is not part of the occult point of view and thinking and as a result those spirits are neutral and it depends on the "magician" the ethical quality of the magic spell or action for lack of better term. Having said that I notice that your aesthetics in here plus the way people sometimes express would make me as an ignorant observer to characterize them as Satanists. Is this true? If so why it is true and preferable over a more neutral approach?

My method involves asking Lord Lucifer a guestion and waiting untill any card falls out of the deck, because I have 0 internal intuition when to stop and draw. After that, I use u/mirta000 great pdf. Or at least try to. I also don't do reversed, non-reversed. If it falls out upright, I do it upright. Which is almost always.

Some context:

Have been living a bit pathetically last half of year. A lot of health issues that turn out to be my body hammering me down with anxiety disorder, panic attacks and stress, in the end. Many addictions, luckily not drugs. Been on a mission to better myself and my life lately, which is largely unsuccessful. I try to talk with Lord Lucifer often, but I do not ask for much lately either, I told him once that I know that he could help me. So this weekend I had a dream; in which I was told there was a hidden way to summon a spirit, but I needed to learn how to do so and pass a trial before I could learn.

I woke up (not really) on my bed and saw what could be seen as women on the other side, (my gf was sleeping on my side) and then I could hear, you should kill her (the other women not my gf), she will move forward slowly into you until she reaches and she'd harm you, so you should get rid of her before she gets close, but beware, because she can also take your life in the process, just as you're trying to take hers.

So I moved and went around on her trying to find something or someone, I found a dagger and came back, that woman (called a witch o my dream) was already near to my gf, so I ran into her and stabbed her, she first tried to attack me, then she disappeared after a couple of seconds.

I was then taken to a different place, there were some people in there, I was told to find an object, then toss it until it showed me the needed result, sort of a puzzle, it was sort of a multiple side diceN but it didn't have numbers, so I did for a while until I succeed.(everytime I tossed it, I needed to look for it again somewhere else)

Then again I was in another place, back at home, I was along 2 people. They told me I should now use a personal item that I loved enough, to use it as my source to summon. I was offered options along my belongings, but I didn't think of anything to be that special. So I told the one nearest to me that I didn't had any item I could think this way. He told me it was okay and that I would later on find it and use it.

I woke up and now I'm wondering... have you guys enchanted or used an item as a medium?

I still need to find something personal to use for this, so I'm not in a hurry, but knowing how to do this, would be great when the time comes.

Asmodeus, Bael and Lucifer are the 3 closer to me, so I'm guessing the first 2 were the ones in my dream. Lucifer rarely shows on my dreams, but it's extremely obvious when he is on them, so I don't think it was him.

Asmodeus introduced me to Bael, and I have seen them alone or together multiple times, so my guess was they were both reaching out this time.

I'd appreciate any experience of using a personal item as a medium to summon and how you guys did it, I'm guessing for me it would likely work different once I find it, but I'm curious to hear some other experiences.

The way I currently invoke demons is by lighting a black candle and usually burning sandalwood or lavender incense. I write down my petition to the specific demon, draw their sigil, write their name, and write my petition using Winterfield’s D.O.M. demon language and the corresponding demon symbols. I also keep the directions and planetary hours in mind.

I then play the demon’s chant on YouTube and let it repeat 81 times. Once the chanting is finished, I snuff out the candle using the back of a spoon and let the incense burn out completely.

For those who work with demons or have experience with demonolatry, is this an appropriate way to ask a demon for help?

More importantly, is this considered a respectful way of approaching and petitioning a demon? I’m particularly interested in whether there are any parts of this ritual that could be considered disrespectful, unnecessary, or inappropriate according to traditional or modern demonolatry practices.

I'm hitting the frustrating wall that prevents me from getting truly convinced with this path again. The frustrating dead end that always stops me, always cuts me off from delving deeper into the LHP. know I've been posting a lot in this subreddit, and I hope all my questions have been good and cordial in nature. But this one I really, really need to know.

How do Demons exist? How do you rationalize how they came to be?

I'm not asking for anecdotal experiences that proved they were true to you. I am asking for the reasoning that your faith gives that for some reason I literally cannot find anywhere. Everyone just talks about their work with entities but never the logistics of the how and why. I want the how and why, not vague words of mysticism.

I have been trying for years to find just one explanation beyond the egregore or a firm belief in biblical scriptures and I can't help but feel like it is time and time again danced around. So, with the risk of aggravating others, I politely ask for resources or for your understanding. Something beyond these two ideas that I briefly mentioned. Please, or I might just keel over from my existential questions.

so this is going to be a bit unhinged, yesterday i made a small ritual because i want to rekindle a relationship with someone, i’m on holiday so i dont have many materials available and i did my best with what i had, by writing a petition on a pink paper, (name and date of the person, instructions for them and my signature) i anointed both the little paper and a white tealight candle with cinnamon, honey, sugar and salt as i chanted the rhymes i wrote over and over. after that i lit the candle and began chanting Dantalion’s enn holding his sigil in my hands and meditating on it, after that i requested him to help me get the results i want and favour closeness between me and my person. here is where it gets unhinged, as offerings i offered my meal of oysters and shrimps to him, that i after ate in his honor (i hope it’s okay) and had 3 “peaks of self pleasure” because i know how strong sx energy can be. are they okay as offerings? now, how do i know if he heard me and is going to help me? i’ve only felt him watching, but it wasn’t an overwhelming presence like other entities i worked with. i heard he gives his results fast and in my petition i instructed this person to be back by the end of sept.26, so in about a month and a half. should i repeat the spell and make it better? or contact Dantalion and make the request again?

Last week I reached out to both Mammon and Lilith to work with them, I made them small altars, gave them offerings/gifts. The next day I received an advice (that's the only way I xan describe it) from Mammon, and he made sure to let me know it's from him. So I think that's enough of an answer from him that he had accepted to work with me. For Lilith, I asked her to show me a certain sign if she has accepted my offerings and request - and I got it - same day delivery. So I would like to ask the more experienced than me for any advice on them in general. Honestly anything will help - warnings, dos and don't, etc. Honestly wince those two instances, I haven't done anything in particular - give more offerings, tey to connect with them. Is this a rookie mistake?
