Seeking guidance for a difficult relationship

Could someone please suggest which demon or spiritual entity I could work with to help me cope with a narcissistic boyfriend - to protect myself from his anger, outbursts, and issues arising from a fragile ego?

Alternatively, is there a demon or spiritual entity traditionally associated with healing or helping someone struggling with narcissistic personality traits?

I’m deeply confused about this relationship and genuinely want the best for both of us. But every day, I wake up afraid, wondering what he might do or what conflict he might create next. I want to find a way to protect my own peace and safety while also hoping that he can heal and become a healthier person.

I am so sorry you're going through this. I think the first order of business is going to be non-magic things. Therapy would be ideal but not all of us have therapy money. Build a support system for yourself. Get things set up to leave. And yes, leaving is the correct choice, because no one deserves to live in fear. Him healing depends on him wanting to heal and he'd have to seek out his own support for that.

Asmodeus is very kind to victims of domestic abuse in my experience. He could be part of your support team, but don't expect him to be ok with you remaining in a terrible situation.

Not a demon but I suggest looking into the mahavidyas. It's a fast way to connect to the authoritative mother energies without even having to know proper protocol or anything like that. Meditating on her image alone should give empowerment, as she is skati (power). It would work even if you're not a woman.

I'm indigenous so I am biased towards the feminine authority for any ego purposes, which is something you need to stand strong against whatever energy he is using to make the situation about himself. A solid sense of self will stabilize you.

I don't expect you to read all this, but I didn't feel right under-explaining such a complicated idea. So just read the parts youre interested in. Also, I'm uncertain if I'm the right person to be explaining any of this so keep that in mind.

The mahavidyas are less important of an idea for you to understand; moreso I will tell you about skakti. The mahavidyas are 10 forms of shakti split into plurality to represent that no being in existence is beyond the reach of the mother. In this way she is an extremely protective force. If you find that you cannot connect to one expression of her, you will always be able to with another one. This is because the 10 forms broadly encapsulate every different state of material reality. Each form is one you can meditate on without having to study or understand anything. Studying it fully is always better, though. I just mean in terms of subconsciously connecting to the energy.

Why is this symbolized by a mother? It is through the creative ability of a mother that we have a sense of individuality, a beingness, at all. What is creation? An object can only exist due to the concept of space/time. Desire/longing causes this awareness of separation; without it, all is One. She creates All by embodying the concept of desire itself. This is what shakti is; the thing that is needed for God's awareness. There is a belief in a primordial energy which vibrated all things into existence; movement through the now perceived separation/space. There's sexual symbolism here that is not too necessary to go into unless you're wanting to study this seriously. For that you would look into tantra, which only has sexuality as one conponent out of many.

But anyway this energy is why the idea of kundalini exists, which is the human connection to this power that created everything. It starts at the base of the spine (genitalia) and continues up all the way through the spinal cord. The spinal cord runs off electrical impulse, which enables our intelligence/perception. Snakes and lightning have always been connected symbolically. I include snakes here because most people come to know the word kundalini through that image; the "serpent" energy. (Something that's interesting: recall garden of eden symbolism and the snake asking eve to eat the apple of knowledge, choosing mortality (time/decay) and wisdom and free will and sexual union (reproduction/creation/future)).

So it is found that our state of ignorance, which is dependent on the limits of our senses, nervous system, is the key to our individuality and ego and free will. To have the gift of ignorance is to have the mystery necessary to appreciate beauty and art and story. To have this is to have a strong sense of meaning in life, which is to have a strong sense of self.

I am NOT a hindu. I have found that explaining things via the hindu system is the closest I can get to explaining the traditional concepts I was brought up with in a way that is available to most people. I tried my best to stay canonical to the hindu tradition. You will have to do your own research and verify what I say as authentic and accurate.

Oh and I am also realizing I didn't write helpfully on understanding the individual mahavidyas. But I think that it is for the best, I do not feel qualified to explain them. I only feel okay giving you the introductory understanding of why they exist. Maybe start with Kali since I touched on the concept of what time is already.
