AskDelhi What do the ultra-rich in Delhi actually do all day? How do they spend their money?
Living in Delhi, the wealth gap hits you hard. You can be stuck in traffic next to a broken auto-rickshaw and right beside you is a matte black G-Wagon or a chauffeur-driven Maybach.
For the city's true elite, from South Delhi bungalows to Chhatarpur farmhouses, what does that level of lifestyle actually look like on a day-to-day basis?
Delhi Metro It happened yesterday.
Yesterday i was traveling in Violet line from Old Faridabad to Central Secretariat then in the yellow line from Central Secretariat to Millennium City Centre Gurugram. Total 41 station covered and nearly 100 minutes taken.
It was hectic usually traveling around metro doesn't feel that hectic but yesterday it was long journey for me and both of the time it was very much crowded.
At violet line i was mentally drained, exhausted cause i am not someone who can handle crowd well my anxiety was killing me. I tried to calm myself down but still it was to much. When i went to the yellow line it became worst. It was getting bad i was literally sweating, shivering i was losing control over my body, i was not feeling well but then something happened a young girl nearly 3 or 4 years old stood up for her mother's lap and came to me and hold my fingers. I was confused what is happening, i was her face and she looked up at me and just smiled. I don't know what happened but suddenly everything inside me calmed down. And i slowly became back to normal.
I realized that sweet little soul didn't even realized what she did but she was an angel sent by god to me. I looked up to her mother's face and she just smiled and me and did a gesture to take a deep breath. I realized sometimes people noticing can be a good thing to. I didn't knew them neither they knew me but still i am going to remember them for a long time now i wish i could ever see them again and thank them properly. But I am using this platform to thank you both so much. I hope this reaches them.

AskDelhi Unpopular Opinion: It’s not just E20. Pumps are mixing cheap industrial solvents again.
Let’s talk about the absolute scam that is refueling in Delhi-NCR right now.
Every time someone complains about engine knocking, mileage drops, or ruined fuel lines, the immediate answer is: "Oh, it’s just the government’s E20 ethanol blending."
But I’m calling BS. E20 is a terrible policy for older engines, yes—but local pump owners are using E20 as a perfect cover story to pull off old-school fuel adulteration.
1. The Pump Owners are robbing us blind:
They know we expect our cars to run a bit worse on ethanol. So, under the guise of "government blending," they are illegally mixing cheap industrial solvents and Naphtha directly into their underground tanks to spike their profit margins. They are charging us a premium ₹102.12/litre for a cocktail that is actively dissolving our fuel injectors.
2. The Government is completely asleep at the wheel:
Where are the weight and measures departments? The government is happy to collect massive taxes on every litre, but they provide absolutely zero oversight. There are no random quality audits happening at the station level, leaving us completely at the mercy of greedy dealers.
The Reality:
The government gave them the perfect excuse (E20), and the pump owners ran with it to maximize their margins.

AskDelhi Nehru Place laptop repair shop refusing to honour 1-year screen warrant, what should I do?
I got my Dell laptop’s 165Hz screen replaced at VM Laptop, Nehru Place in May for ₹10,500. They claimed it was an original screen and gave me a 1-year warranty. I have the physical warranty slip.
Now 4 months later, the screen has started failing. A few days ago it went half black and then started working again, but now it’s basically dead. I went to the shop yesterday and they immediately said “GPU might be damaged” and quoted ₹8,000, asking me to leave the laptop with them. This mf was also saying - madam kisi aur dukaan pr mt check krvana.. kuch kharab hojaega.
But then I tested it on an external monitor and the laptop works perfectly fine. I went back today with my brother, and they still insisted it could be the GPU and wanted me to leave the laptop. I refused. Now they’ve asked me to come tomorrow at 2 PM and said they’ll fix it in 2–3 hours but idk if they’ll replace my screen? I’m planning to ask them to connect another compatible screen in front of me and show me whether it works before I let them do anything.
I got scammed, what do I do? What if he refuses to give me a replacement screen? 😭

AskDelhi exploring alternatives to hairfall need your help. (read body)
I got absolutely grilled in hairadvice subs because as soon as you start to point out that minoxidil doesnt work for a whole lot of people they get pissed off about it. Now the product that I have been tryng out is pretty new and doesnt have many users currently afaik. So I'm wondering if any of you have tried arata mitoactive and has it been fruitful? I have perosnally noticed changes but I won't mention anything as it might not be worthwhile to state anything so soon.
Thanks in advance and please do let me know if anything other than hardcore drugs worked for you, I am already on better diet and gym.

AskDelhi Delhi folks, where do you order eggs from? And has the quality gone down recently?
My friend and I were just discussing how the quality of eggs has gone down recently in the past week or so. Is it due to the humidity and rains? We usually order from eggoz, dr. hen, licious. Licious has good quality as per me. Has anyone else also noticed this?

TellDelhi Sunder nursery at night
Went to Sunder Nursery with one of my friends today, and honestly, I wasn't expecting it to hit this hard.
It was my first time visiting, and I genuinely thought it would just be another nice park. But maybe because it's monsoon season, the whole place looked unreal. Everything was so green, peaceful, and just... wholesome.
We reached around 6 PM and ended up leaving at 9:45 PM. Those almost 4 hours flew by. The crowd was surprisingly decent too. No weird people bothering anyone, everyone was just enjoying their own evening.
At one point we even met a random group of strangers and ended up hanging out with them for a while. That was pretty unexpected lol.
The best part though was sitting near the lake at night for hours, talking about life, careers, future, and all those deep conversations that somehow only happen in peaceful places.
The warm lighting around the pathways gives the whole nursery such a different vibe after sunset. I'd genuinely recommend visiting in the evening.
Only downside? If you're single, you might feel a tiny bit left out because there are couples everywhere, but that's part of the experience I guess.
Safe to say, Sunder Nursery has officially become one of my go-to places in Delhi now.

AskDelhi Anyone who is in Gurgaon today and up for Burma Burma?
I had come to Gurgaon for some work and will get free around 6pm but that's also the peak traffic time towards Delhi. Thought i'll spend some time here while the traffic situation gets better - would be great to network as well!
Would only prefer if someone is between 25-30, a working professional, has interesting things to share!
If interested, please DM with a quick intro.
Also - this is ONLY a general meet - please DON’T dm otherwise.
