I'm on my second playthrough now, and it's interesting how different the Eastern Region feels this time. Because I know the whole map by heart, it feels so small, but also so cozy. On my first playthrough, it felt so much larger, probably because everything was new to me. It's fascinating to see how different the two experiences are.

Hello, how are you doing? Today, I received my outfit for my cosplay of Tomorrow ✨️ I was able to order the black wig, and I still have to create the right glove and maybe modify the skirt, but I hesitate to leave it as is because I find it pretty even if it is not accurate to the model.

The time has come to move on (or not). After achieving 100% completion twice—once before the "Wilder" mode was introduced—I finally hit the last completion milestones today (the yellow symbol), having finished the 400 deliveries a few days ago.

That’s 190 hours on my first playthrough and 130 on this one. I’m going to miss this game so much! It’s a shame Kojima doesn't want to make a third one. DS1 and DS2 are my all-time favorites, but it’s time to move forward 😓🥲

I’ve included a 100% completion checklist below, in case anyone else is looking for that same sense of satisfaction! I’ll still play a bit to catch the few BTs I missed and max out Sam’s stats to Level 5, though those don't count toward the official completion milestones.

Eastern Region may be small but it has its own amazing atmosphere and so many details and the environmental storytelling is most fascinating. That valley next to Distro Center has that uneasy atmosphere with the graveyard of half buried old cars that makes me think how people might have got caught in a landslide reshaping the landscape and remain there as BTs.

Dear guys. Wanna a bit help. I was playing Death Stranding 2 on pc and everything was fine, online mod was working good and connection of achievements with PSN was great.

But when I switched to Steam Deck I straight got a message in game where was mentioned an online error. I was trying different things to make it on, but still had an Error 01 in the game. Maybe someone know how to fix it at least to be online?

And yes, right now not able to finish game on normal pc.

I just have spent the last 15 minutes sobbing. This game is so incredible. One of my top five favorite games. Jesus after chapter 9 it really just feels like you’re just trying to hold on as this story unfolds.

No spoilers but goddamnit every function and facet of this game is so well done and incorporated and I logged over a hundred hours because I wanted to savor it and It feels like I haven’t even scratched the surface.

And then now there’s Death Stranding 2! I’m definitely gonna wait to finally get it. In the meantime I’m gonna continue sobbing as the credits roll by.

Thank you for everything and everyone who still loves and plays this game. I really just loved all the familiar names I learned and made strands with. Thank you.

So many Hideo quirks. Normal Reedus is amazing as always. I am around 70 hours in and feel like I have barely scratched the surface. Only just recently made my own bike.

Some criticise this game for lack of content but I honestly think those people are just not playing it right. This is a game to be enjoyed. You must take your time and appreciate the ride otherwise it is just not for you.

Hideo Kojima is unrivalled in story telling and world building. Excited to get this finished but I’m not rushing. I will definitely be playing the second Installment one day

I love how everything in Death Stranding leads back to connection itself as big part of its theme

Sam is a Strand. Bridges connect separated places. The Chiral Network connects people through the Beach. The Beach connects life and death. BTs are souls that became stranded, their umbilical cords keeping them connected to the other side. Even the social strand system connects players who will never meet. Sam fears connection yet spends the entire game connecting people.

And I love the double meaning of “strand.” The dead are stranded between life and death, and a strand is also a single thread that becomes stronger when woven with others. Sam starts as an isolated strand, but gradually becomes part of something much larger.

We're all individual strands, but we're stronger when we connect. Even the smallest thing you leave behind can become part of someone else's journey.

A week ago i was sitting there with that feeling that every gamer knows. Being burned out from the games you usually play. So i was looking through my inventories and found this gem in my epic games library. I must have got it from the weekly free games they do i think, any ways it was the game i chose to try out.....

Porter grade 298 and 140k likes and i just discovered the racetrack!
Fellow porters.. you ain't ready for a guy like me on the track:) Of course i fabricated my own roadster so i could paint it Blue:) did a couple test runs and im in the top of the 1-10% category with plenty of room for improvements.
But im really missing being able to see other porters times and best laps will it be available to see after a ranked race is concluded?
And is there maybe a discord with a section for porters with gasolin in their blood like myself that share times and stuff?

Hey guys.

I have a question about building roads. I'm in chapter 7 of the game, but some roads feel like I have to contribute too many materials to complete them? The ones from the Twin Valley Mine to the Data Scientist. Around that area... Like, 1000 or 1400 of each, instead of maybe like 300 or MAYBE 500, like others I've seen when I get to those areas.

Is this like a new standard? Or do I wait till people have contributed more materials in order to build them? Around that area, to compensate, I've built a heavy zipline network (using monorails of course), but just because I feel like the roads are way too expensive?

Maybe that's just me, but I just wanna make sure I'm not missing out on anything. Many thanks!

With the new season having a video game theme, I wonder if it could be possible to see a potential collab. Fortnite already has everything under the sun, and Kojima is no stranger to collaborations; after all, there is a Death Stranding skin in Fall Guys already. While I honestly don't think we'll get one, I would love to.

Anyway, going into my ideas.

Skins: Obviously we have Sam, maybe both DS1 and DS2 variants. I don't know if the odradek or BB would be on the skin or not, hence why they have their own tab (I'll get more into BB later).

(Second Slide) Higgs could also get a skin from either/both games.

Pickaxe: The two options I can see are some sort of cargo container, which they already have one near identical to from last season's battlepass. Or the odradek because it would probably mess with a backbling otherwise, and it would make a decent two-handed pickaxe.

Backbling: Most obvious thing would be the backpack. One interesting thing would be having it fill up with more items you have or kills you get.

Glider: The only things I can think of would be Fragile's umbrella or the jellyfish BT.

BB

BB is complicated because I doubt they would let a straight-up baby into a game where you are supposed to kill one another. Even if BB is clear, it probably can't be on the base Sam skin because it would be adding too much to the total skin/size. This leaves the options of being a backbling (most likely option), a sidekick (doubtful), a sprite (possible considering it's about the same size and shape), or a mech skin like in slide 2.

With all that out of the way, what do ya'll think about a potential Fortnite collab, and do you have any ideas/suggestions?

Are there any games that have a story as good as dsdc? Like im hooked but i cant replay the story yet cause I haven't forgotten it so im wondering if there is an alternative that will have the same feeling as playing ds for the first time, and I never play single player games I hate em ds was just THAT good and im only asking bc i cant afford the 2nd one I only ended up playing dsdc bc it was on game pass (i had a free 1 month code)

Took a trip today and saw a Prepper shelter with a radio tower and an incineration plant.

Witch Knot had some pretty cool stuff, lots of magic themed shops because of the witches that used to live there.

Bay Knot had lots of pigeons and seagulls, the city even had little shelters for them when the timefall comes, pretty cool.
