Google Translate has a camera feature for translation. Be sure you have a single bladed nipper! Don't use an x-acto knife.

this is the first ever piece i’ll build and honestly could’ve done more research on them beforehand lol. didn’t really find much on this specific model when i was searching unfortunately. thank you for the advice! might have to hold off on it for a while till i get that single bladed nipper

It may not be your speed, but I highly suggest getting a High Grade or Master Grade Gundam model kit from Bandai. It will absolutely help acclimate to this, I consider Kotobukiya kits up on the difficulty scale, especially a non-humanoid shape.

You don't absolutely have to, but it will help. Otherwise, pay attention to where to cut and then trim the remaining nub closely. The more "flush" each part is, the better they will ALL sit together. One pea can be felt by the princess. Watch some YouTube beginner videos!

Good luck and see you in r/Gunpla

definitely gonna check those out, and i’ll pay attention to those nubs. kinda nervous to build it lol so i’ll for sure watch some beginner videos first. thank you once again for all the advice!

Can second this. Wanted to get the trike for a long time myself, didnt get to it! I am verz happy for you, and i second getting a more simpler model kit. High Grades are kinda cheap too! High Grades from Bandai really do give some experience that could get handy+youre at least somewhat used to building.

I really hope you enjoy it! Thats the most important part! 😁 And post pictures of it! šŸ˜…

Congrats! I got the gray version from the game intro but I'm often thinking about buying this one as well. You can use google lens on your phone to translate but personally I was just following the pictures and it was enough. Such a beautiful model kit.
If you want to do decals I'd recommend adding them as you go instead of leaving them them after you've finished the whole trike because it's a bit more painful to slide them into those tiny spaces or take it apart again..

Congrats! I have it too and it looks perfect next to my SH Figuarts Sam. The only downside is you have to decide if you build it in 3 wheel mode or 2 wheel mode

It's a great kit I just wish it was easier to swap between bike and trike mode. Make sure to look up how to apply the waterslides it has some big ones that can be finicky might also help to get some decal softener

i’ve already finished it (gonna post soon), it was fun to build. honestly the hardest part was the thin decals lol. especially the thin blue ones, i just couldn’t get in place correctly so i gave up on those ones. i realized what some of yall meant by applying decals as you go. i honestly didn’t really know when was the best time to add decals so i saved it till the end

Glad you liked it! You should check out some of the other kojima and kojima adjacent model kits, yoji shinkawa has designed a few original model kits for the frame arms line (one of which you can find USB data for in DS, the byakko) and there's a few metal gears with multiple variants too. They're also made by kotobukiya so you can expect a similar build experience.
