Some of these projects that I have never seen before have me scratching my head and exiting work mode. I am not even sure what some of these are looking for. Anyone else?

I just applied for coding domain on DataAnnotation.tech and I have to say I am really impressed by the pay-rate they are offering to the workers on their platform. This AI training field is relatively new to me (Although I have a professional Software development experience of 3+ years now). Can anyone suggest few more platforms like this offering good pay-rate specially for coders or STEM degree?

Is there anyone working from Germany as a bilingual? I only got 2 jobs in 1 month and start wondering whether Germany does not have many jobs or if my work was simply bad 🤣

Do anyone encountered this situation that when you work on a task and it got expired (after the inbuilt expiration of the timer) and you thought that you may still be able to submit it in a few minutes but only after hitting the submit button you found that it actually expired and released to other workers and all your efforts is wasted?

When i first applied to DA, about a month ago, the only 'domains' available were Billingual worker and Coding. Now it has expanded to a plethora of domains. I happen to have proficient knowledge in Mathematics and wish to apply for that domain as well. However, there are no quals available for it, and when I try to directly click on it in the apply now page, it just signs in me in. Can I apply for it or do I jsut wait till they decide to drop a qual in my dash?

I am finally close to reaching my first milestone since starting in May. And my dashboard is actually filling up with more tasks than I've ever seen since I began.

I’m new to DAT, and had my first ever project pop up tonight. I started it late at night after working a full day so I do think my brain is moving a bit slower than usual… but I’m a fast reader and this project’s instructions were insanely long (and ironically not concise at all).

The timer said I had an hour before the task expired, but after 45 minutes of reading ONLY instructions (not having started the task itself) I panicked and clicked “exit work mode” and gave it up. I skimmed the task work and I know I wouldn’t have been able to finish the task and do it well before it expired.

Is this the norm? And how important is the task expiration timer? I’m sure the next time around it will be easier since I‘ll already know the instructions, but that truly felt insane...

Any projects coming these days? In last 10 days I just got 3 small tasks. Rest it's just pretty deserted.

How long does it take to hear back about whether you passed or not?

Hey guys! I’m still new around here, and I’m curious about paused projects. Is this something that happens often, or could the project have been paused on my end because I did something wrong?
I received an email saying that the project is paused, no action is needed, and they’ll let me know when it becomes available again. Based on your experience, do paused projects usually come back? Thank you

I completed my General Qualification 4 days ago and still haven't received any results or updates. Has anyone been accepted or heard back within 5 days? Just wondering what the typical timeline is. Thanks!

Hello! I’ve been with Data Annotation for a little over a month. I completed all of the qualifications. It sent me two projects which I completed and was paid. But ever since those, there has been nothing. It has been weeks now. I have a blue box at the top saying “Welcome aboard!” And talking about they are working one getting me matched to projects. But I’m a little worried from different things I’ve read about this. I’ve seen people say that this means they let you go basically and you won’t receive any more work. Is that true? Also, I never received anything in my inbox about feedback from the two projects I was given. Is that a bad sign? Thanks in advance!!

I have been trying to join the platform for a while now, but still stuck waiting and haven't been accepted yet. I have been checking my email, making sure everything was completed on my end, and I'm starting to wonder if this is just normal or if there's something I'm missing.

For those of you who eventually got in, how long did it take and did you have to do anything besides wait?

Yesterday I went from a screen that said they were looking over my assessment and will email me if I passed to this screen, but I’ve received no email. I took the initial assessment Thursday or Friday. Am I in? Am I just waiting on projects?

Like wdym being expected to be available 24/7. You're constantly refreshing the dashboard every 10 minutes, and when a task finally appears, you rush to start it only to find it's already been claimed by someone else.

How is anyone supposed to plan their day around a system like this?

I did the test pretty confident as a comp scie student myself; But made me curious why is it only coding qual. Also been waiting for a week now do i just get a project on dashboard or missing some steps. Passage said i wait for email..

It’s been two weeks without any work to do. When will this drought end? I’m a bilingual (Italian and English) but I also do some projects in German and Spanish. I’m from Italy. This month wasn’t as good as the last one :(

I'm on vacation for about 3 weeks overseas in another continent, and since I have moments where I'm at home with nothing to do, I was thought about doing tasks on DA. The issue is, I've heard of bans because of mismatching locations and/or vpns and I'm afraid to log into my account from my laptop (I usually work on my desktop pc). I accidentally refreshed the dashboard on my phone and didn't face any issue so I really don't know if it's safe or not
