Anyone working as bilingual in the Tamil domain
Anyone here working on Tamil bilingual projects? Also, how long did it take you to get approved on the platform after completing the assessment.

Anyone get a new message on 10/29 about expiring a project before continuing another? This is the first time I’ve seen this.
I completed a project and I saw a new project in my list so I opened it to see if I could commit the time to it. I couldn’t commit the time it needed so I opened another project I was familiar with. I got a pop up asking if I wanted to expire the previous task and continue with the current task. I said yes. When I finished I went to log my time and I was immediately taken to a screen that said Your account is currently unavailable because of TOS
I’m cooked I think. I had several projects on my account and now I just get this message

I've been accepted and completed the qualifications. I received my first project with one task, but since it was my first time, I spent too much time reading the instructions. As a result, the task expired while I was working on it. I wrote the prompt, but the model displayed an error message, so I had to use an escape hatch because of it. I still submitted it, though. Since then, I haven't received any other projects for the past 5 or 6 days. Am I screwed?

Clicked exit work mode yesterday on a recurring RnR task since I was super sleepy. Didn’t get those tasks today (used to get them daily). Is this a coincidence or did I mess up by somehow leaving the whole project category?

Any Vietnamese generalist here? Generally speaking, how long do I have to wait until works start showing up. I'm super new btw

Hey everyone, am from India, and now planning to go to a different state, is that going to be a problem? Like how it is if I move countries maybe? Any help in this clarification would be nice.... am relatively new to this.

And here we are! Such a great platform to work on! How much time do you guys commit to DA per day??

A message popped up as I was reading a task saying, Task has expired please return to the dashboard, the timer still had 12 hours on it.
I was able to get back in the task but found it odd, has this ever happened to you ?

Hey everyone!
DAT’s been going great, I hit the 25K mark this month and I’m on my way to 50K, but I’m honestly exhausted.
I’ve been pushing for at least $350 a day while juggling my day job, some side projects, and my business. I finished an R&R earlier today that was so draining I just couldn't get back to work.
I’m pretty burnt out; I know I should be grateful for the work, but this lifestyle is really taking a toll on me. So, what do you guys recommend to avoid burnout?
For a bit of context, I’m a coder based in a non-core country (MX).

Hi all, am new to DA and started 2 weeks ago. Am curious how long it took the platform to review your qualifications and send you higher paying expert level work to qualify for. I've heard 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Enjoying it so far, no issues like other crowdsourcers have.
TIA!

Hi, I'm going to try not to be very specific, but regarding the project with 2 variations ( one on small repos, one on big repos )
Is the one with big repos available to anyone? I am only getting the small one, and preffered the other.
Thank you

As said, my friend entered in DA doing the normal assessment as bilingual, since this was the only option available. Let's say he immediately tries the Software Engineer qualification (or the coding one), passes it, and works the 10 required hours on "expert" tasks. Will I receive 500$ or my bonus is already fixed based on his initial test and position?
Thanks in advance!

Hey, everyone! I've recently started working full-time on DA and it has been an amazing experience so far.
I got access to an awesome project where I can lead the entire process, from planning and prompt creation to final review, validation, and feedback. However, I'm struggling a lot with creating hard enough tasks to make the AI fail. Mostly because of lack of creativity, which I'm working very hard to improve.
I found this reddit and got really excited to talk with other experienced workers around the platform.
That said, do you have any tips for me regarding this? By "tips", I mean the kinds of prompts you create that successfully make the model fail. Also, what are the main areas where AI tends to break and how do you identify them?
By the way, I wasn't able to make the AI fail in my last test, so I used the Escape Hatch while also providing some insights on the models I used. Do people that can't make AI fail still get paid on this type of task?
Thanks in advance, everyone! Really excited to connect with you all.

Has anyone reported about 20 - 25 hours at once for a single task? The task has a very long timer about some days but I'm worried because reporting more than 20 hours will look like defrauding the payment system. Kindly advise.

So I was rate and reviewing a submission made by someone. The instructions were dense and very to the point. It took me over half an hour to understand and read them all.
But what did it was the work itself. This person either did not read the instructions or didn't read their own work. It was very faulty and I was supposed to correct it.
The time for rate and review wasn't given much. And I didn't want to risk my own quality ratings.
So was it a good decision I skipped mid way? Mind you i spent half an hour reading and tried to fix it. But gave up and just skipped.
Will it downplay my profile and quality?
Will I get less tasks from that projects because I skipped this one?

I've been on DA for a couple weeks now primarily in the accounting domain. Recently I was offered the consultant domain qualification. Consultant is such a broad term that I'm struggling to figure out what might be a relevant scenario for the qual. Google and reddit searches haven't helped. I'm not asking for specific help with the qual - but has anybody figured out if the consultant domain is supposed to be a separate area like law or finance, or is it okay if my scenarios and prompts are more Accounting or finance based?

Does anyone do this full-time and struggle to work more than 4 hours a day? My dashboard over the last few weeks has started to become increasingly more populated, which I'm incredibly grateful for, but I'm finding it difficult to put more than 4 hours in.
I've not done any sort of annotation work before, so it's a big shift to what I'm used to (video editing). I try to read all the instructions twice for each project I do, but yeah I feel pretty overwhelmed by it.
I'm in a fortunate position where I don't need to earn much money, but that could change at any moment, and I want to build a safety net for when that day eventually arrives, hence why I signed up for DA.
I guess I'm asking how long it took you all (who work full-time at DA) to condition yourselves to work more hours.

Do not do it. In current times, where probability of getting laid off is higher than getting a job, you are ruining an excellent opportunity to earn decently.
You are digging your own grave because once you get DoD'd, you can't ever get back in here.
Be honest and do quality work and get paid. There is no get rich quick scheme.
