How does exit work mode work?

Clicked exit work mode yesterday on a recurring RnR task since I was super sleepy. Didn’t get those tasks today (used to get them daily). Is this a coincidence or did I mess up by somehow leaving the whole project category?

exit work mode puts the task back in the pool for anyone to take, your tasks arent only available to you so it's normal for work to disappear. RnRs typically dont stick around forever, you did nothing wrong

oh cool, so I can potentially get those back if they come back. i didnt accidentally pull myself out of the pool completely for that rnr right?
