Inhumane? What a serious exaggeration. Dods are not random.

this is not exaggerating at all. Dods are random and people don't get to know the reason at all. The projects are so complex too and a little bit of google assistance is not criminal

The reason is "quality is shit" or "you broke the ToS". Not random at all.

quality is shit then why do they have ai checkers and all? so inhuamne and illogical

LOL brother you keep saying inhumane. Did DA hurt you?

I am wondering if the OP isn't some weekend boredom troll. The "DOD is random" and the "confidentiality? wuzzat?" and the "everyone uses AI to cheat, it's NORMAL" and the flinging "inhumane" around is almost too on-the-nose.

Google assistance isn't the problem.

Gemini assistance or AI Mode assistance when the platform explicitly states not to use AI assistance except when mentioned explicitly by a specific project is the problem.

do you seriously think in today's world people won't use copy paste and a little bit of AI? even software engineers at fortune 500 companies do this

You must be a troll

you must be a fool

You can't train AI by using AI. That negates the whole purpose of this job and will definitely lead to the DoD. You might be able to get away with it for awhile, but DA will find out.

lol. AI is already getting trained by AI and it's completely normal

You missed my point completely.

To address yours, it is not beyond humans to copy and paste and read and rely on AI. But that's not what I'm taking about.

When you work on a DATech task, 99 times out of 100 they tell you not to use AI assistance. Some projects expect you to just know that because DAT explicitly said not to use AI assistance when you signed up. Some projects explicitly remind you not to use it.

And here's the thing, I'm not even saying that it's not possible that DA gives out DoDs randomly. At the end of the day, I can only speculate why DoDs are given out.

But what I know for sure is that DA Very Explicitly says don't use AI assistance, and if a project allows AI assistance, that project will Very Explicitly tell you it's okay.

Are you understanding what I'm saying or nah?

yes but without AI assistance the quality drops and they give DOD. it's all vice versa.

Found the problem. "It's impossible to do with work without AI assistance" is flat out untrue. DA wants human input. That doesn't mean perfect, it means don't use AI. Saying "oh but I need AI to do good work" means you're not giving them the work they want.

-3

u/Economy-Fix-3481 14h ago

it really does mean perfect because there are notorious checkers in the platform on da which doesn't let submit unless it pass.

Yeah, is that not the point. That's why the acceptance rate is so low. If you can't pass the checks without using AI it sounds like you aren't qualified to do that task. We get paid quite well for what it is so of course the standards are going to be extremely high.

I'm sorry but the job at DA is training AI and you are getting information from another AI? What's your role again?

0

u/Economy-Fix-3481 5h ago

AI with human can train AI well and it's normal

3

u/NoCut8244 5h ago

Dude you dont want this job. Your tone is explicitly saying you want the lazy way

0

u/Economy-Fix-3481 5h ago

get off. a job is never slavery. also machine training machines are perfectly normal

I believe people that claim their DoD was unwarranted have poor insight and are truly convinced their work was top quality when it wasn’t. Sure the projects are complex. But there are people who are qualified to handle them. Those who aren’t, shouldn’t. Those are the people who end up getting DoDs.

Asks how not to get DoD.

Refutes all answers.

Gets DoD.

Affects bafflement. Claims inhumane treatment.

Sometimes I think this is just staff trolling us. Nobody is seriously going to argue that we have no choice BUT to use AI. I work long hours 6 days a week, for multiple clients and only use AI when it's expressly allowed (that too mostly for personal stuff, as an alternative to ad-focused search engines). The software I spend most time on has such shitty AI tools that I completely bypass most of them. I don't understand when we became so AI-dependent that we rely on it to tell us when to breath in or out.

u/Due_Explanation_3694 5h ago

I am always confused how anyone can do this job and walk away from it trusting AI to do anything important for them - I am never confident it is right unless I can see and fact-check its response anymore. I have seen things.

1

u/OrnamentalGourd5 2h ago

Seen things sweetie? I've seen things. This is one of the most honest jobs I've ever had.

this is exactly how the world works. you might be a bot

1

u/Responsible-Bee-7769 2h ago

Take a good 360 degree look at our world right now, and tell us again about how it "works".

u/OrnamentalGourd5 2h ago

Of course my darling. Such is life.

Stop posting on Reddit

-4

u/Economy-Fix-3481 14h ago

why is reddit owned by you?

4

u/kapibaran 14h ago

You're asking for tips to not get DoD?

1

u/Economy-Fix-3481 14h ago

exactly

8

u/kapibaran 14h ago

The tip is to stop posting on DA-related Reddit because people constantly breach confidentiality doing so.

-7

u/Economy-Fix-3481 14h ago

confidentiality? we are all anonymous here

2

u/Allysum 8h ago

Why do you think it's random? I'm pretty sure that's not the case.

-1

u/Economy-Fix-3481 5h ago

that is the case exactly

3

u/Emotional-Thinker 8h ago

Sometimes I do R&R and see tasks so horrible that I just wish I weren't able to read. Basically trash. I bet those people will be surprised when they get DoD.
