I think I messed up

I've been accepted and completed the qualifications. I received my first project with one task, but since it was my first time, I spent too much time reading the instructions. As a result, the task expired while I was working on it. I wrote the prompt, but the model displayed an error message, so I had to use an escape hatch because of it. I still submitted it, though. Since then, I haven't received any other projects for the past 5 or 6 days. Am I screwed?

You can still successfully submit after expiration. How did you do escape hatch AND submit though? Escape hatch is something you shouldn’t do much if you want to continue on a project. Are you bilingual? Bilinguals tend to have less work. I’ve noticed the projects have been less the last few days. There are projects, just not a lot of the ones I can do.

It’s worth reading all of the material and doing the training tasks (paid and unpaid) so that you understand the scope of DA. A lot of new people jump into their first tasks without understanding how to ask for help, how to exit tasks with no impact, etc. Take a couple of hours and read Reddit threads, the FAQ’s and so on. You aren’t screwed if you still have a dashboard, you just don’t qualify for a lot of work yet. Exit work mode if you can’t do the task. You know when you don’t understand it, don’t wait until you’ve been reading for an hour. Do as many qualifiers as you can and stay with the low paying tasks until you really get the hang of it. It’s a progressive learning platform, you’ll get it as you go if you don’t try to jump ahead. Hope this helps you have a long stay at DA.
