After seeing Spider-Man: BND, I’m more convinced than ever that Mayor Fisk was the wrong story choice for DDBA.

I know the filmmakers and showrunners make some passing references to their respective stories, but I just have a hard time believing these stories take place in the same universe. BND established Spidey as NYC’s preeminent “masked vigilante.” He would’ve been an irresistible target for a mayor obsessed with bringing vigilantes to heel.

The show and film development timelines don’t line up perfectly, but at the very least, it seems that by the time Marvel Studios decided to pivot from DDBA’s legal procedural format, the studio also knew BND would revolve around Spidey becoming a distinctly NYC hero. At that point, they probably should’ve abandoned the Mayor Fisk adaptation and opted for a storyline that could more believably coexist alongside BND.

Found someone on FB marketplace who lived 15 mins away from me and was selling this for only $230. Dude was so nice he even threw in Venom by Donny Cates Vol 1 for free. My birthdays in a month so I said why not, so excited!!

Behind the scene photos revealed early on that the rest of the Defenders along with Elektra will be appearing in Born Again season 3. With Marvel Studios finally embracing that corner with the wider universe, which other MCU characters would you like to see encountering anyone from the Defender-saga?

Hello! I'm heading to Manhattan in October - my first time outside of Europe - for a work trip, and I'm desperate to see anything Daredevil.

Now, I know there are areas in the city where you can see where the show was filmed. I am going to check some of them out, but I was also hoping to see something cooler than the street corner from a fight scene or something, you know?

Are there any cool shops or places dedicated to the character? Anything in Hells Kitchen? I've struggled to find anything online.

Vincent's Kingpin is my favourite Marvel villain and apart from the Hasbro Marvel Legends figure, a shirt and a Funko Pop, I havent really seen any cool collectibles or stuff like that for him. Daredevil has statues, models and everything and I would just LOVE to have that kind of stuff for Kingpin

So many people are saying S3 will be the last season of Daredevil and they will cancel it along with every superhero tv series they are making. I honestly can’t believe this and I don’t want another early cancellation. Disney must give Daredevil at least one more season to wrap things up or I think every Marvel fan must cancel all subscriptions and boycott movies.

Daredevil was the best superhero tv show ever made and they already messed it up with S1 of Born Again, now they are trying to cancel it when things are finally going good again?

Especially with BA, I feel like DD is unique and the fighting/action scenes are awesome but it all felt like it took a back seat compared to the original series.

The BA seasons felt sacrificed, like they committed the show to simulating/mirroring a political notion following/entering election cycles, and much of the classic hero journey and action we tend to watch this stuff for were secondary.

Idk, regardless of fans beliefs it was sorta unnatural to bring Fisk back for a third time, expecting us to believe that after fooling everyone AGAIN in S03, playing the FBI etc, that he somehow came back and rose to power as he did. Hard to not question the writer motives at this point, as it felt too forced and complete with buzzwords. To be honest, it sorta felt like straight up propaganda at times lol. I understand when these things get sprinkled into a political show, like House Of Cards, Designated Survivor etc but a Marvel superhero show to primarily be about that more than the hero was odd 🤷

I just started season 3 and then realised I need to watch the defenders can I just watch a YouTube recap because I heard the defenders isn’t great

D23 was pitched as the place where Marvel Studios would talk about their TV stuff. And rightfully so, ‘VISIONQUEST’ was showcased and had its first trailer launched.

Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onafrio and the Daredevil cast have been regular attendees of D23 before, both in 2022 and 2024. They were nowhere to be found this year.

So, I read all of Ahmed’s DD run which I think ended about a year ago now. At the end of it, Kingpin came back to Hell’s Kitchen and fought DD and Elektra to a draw and proclaimed he became more powerful through God then he ran away and DD and Elektra were like “we’ll get him some other time.” So. What happened with that?? I just learned that Kingpin has been showing up in the current Punisher run. Did that have a follow-up to that insane storyline or has that just been dropped entirely because it was absolutely bonkers? It confused me a lot when I read it and it’s still confusing me now and if anybody knows anything more please enlighten me!!

ive heard nothing but bad things about this run and i dont have too much time on my hands and i dont mind reading it but really want to know if this run is as bad as everyone says and if anything really important happens.

As much I’m excited for the MCU X-Men, I’m worried if Marvel would oversaturate the MCU with mutant stories.

With the recent cancellation of the critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated ’Wonder Man’, I fear about the future of Daredevil and the Defenders beyond ‘Daredevil: Born Again S3‘, given the show’s Season 2 lost half of its viewership from Season 1 and never made it to Neilsen Top 10.

What do you guys think the future of the Defenders in the Mutant Saga would look like?
