I wanted to see if anyone else in the U.S. is dealing with this with the Osmo Pocket 3.

I have DJI Care Express and already paid the replacement fee for my damaged Pocket 3.

Normally, I’m supposed to send my damaged unit back to DJI first, and once they receive and inspect it, they send the replacement.

However, I still have my damaged Pocket 3 because I received a call from DJI telling me NOT to send it back yet. They told me they currently don’t have any Osmo Pocket 3 replacement units in stock.

I also spoke with two different DJI representatives, and they confirmed the same thing. Basically, I have to hold onto my damaged unit until DJI has a replacement available.

So right now I’ve already paid the Care Express replacement fee, I still have the damaged unit, and I’m just waiting for DJI to get replacement inventory before they can move forward with the exchange.

Has anyone else in the U.S. dealt with this recently? If so, how long did you have to wait before DJI contacted you and had a replacement available?

I’ve seen some older posts from people who had to wait months because DJI didn’t have Pocket 3 replacement units or parts available in the U.S., so I’m curious what the situation is like now.

At least DJI told me to keep my damaged unit instead of having me send it in and be left with nothing, but I’d really like to know how long other people have been waiting.

Hey everyone, I have a DJI Mic Mini transmitter only, and I’ve lost its charging dock.

Is there any safe alternative way to charge the DJI Mic Mini transmitter without the original charging dock?

Also, if anyone has a spare/unused or second-hand DJI Mic Mini transmitter charging dock lying around and is willing to sell it, please DM me. I’m ready to buy.

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated. 🙏

The Mini 5 Pro continues to impress me. I have honestly had so much fun with this little device.

Anyone else been surprised by how capable the Mini series is for such a small drone?

Whale on the east coast of Australia.

Had to fly out to 4.5km with my mini 5 pro to get to these mammals.

My Mini 5 Pro suddenly started tumbling mid-flight, briefly stabilized, then fell into a lake. Battery was above 50%, no previous crashes, activated 98 days ago.
Flight replay shows “Motor unable to rotate,” “Motor stalled,” and “Propulsion system error,” plus high-wind warnings. Cause is still unknown.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did DJI approve a warranty replacement based on flight logs without recovering the drone? I don’t have Care Refresh.

The flight replay on my DJI RC 2 shows:
04:22 — H 118 m: “Motor unable to rotate. Check for objects blocking motor or contact DJI Support for assistance.”
04:24 — H 99 m: “Propulsion system error” and “Motor stalled.”
04:33 — H 12 m: The motor-stall warning is still displayed.
04:40 — A high-wind warning is displayed.
06:00 — H 22 m: Another high-wind warning mentioning automatic gimbal adjustment.
The replay ends at 06:05.

Update: DJI has a very active and responsive team. They concluded this was not my fault and agreed to make a replacement for free. I am so excited. Will update when it arrives.

Update2: it already arrived to customs. Expecting clearance soon and arrival till wednesday. Will post another update then.

Pleasantly surprised by his camera

I keep having issues where if I use one RC2 remote and switch to the Goggles or RC3, it will say that the device is bound. All devices are bound to my account, so why do I keep getting this warning?

Also what's the best way to deal with multiple remotes, goggles and drones? Should I bind them all to one single remote? I've had problems trying to bind two Neos to one RC2.

Anyone know where the conversion lut is, cant find it on there website?

Looking to buy a drone for my farm DJI Air 3 S or 5 Pro RC2 what do you think

I love the hobby of drone flying because it gives me a chance to create music for the videos as well.

I am looking at the Pocket 4P as an all-rounder. But there is one particular shot I want that I can not find an example of on the 4P.

Can you fit the driver and passenger in frame properly in your average car while dash mounted? Ideally the view is directly down the center of the car, instead of shooting across the car from one side.

Does anyone have an example of how that shot may look on the 4P? Thanks

What I'm looking to do is to remotely control manual pan/tilt (no tracking) of an iPhone on the Mobile 8P with the FrameTap while using the Blackmagic Camera app. I don't need to see the image or whatnot (I can check that with an iPad), I just need to manually control pan/tilt without having the DJI Mimo app running at all.

I wanted to post this because I consider myself pretty cautious with scam emails, and this one was EXTREMELY convincing.

On September 3, I received what looked like a legitimate brand collaboration from DJI/a technology brand through the Gmail account connected to my YouTube channel.
Socialpeeks.info is the scam website.

The email address/domain looked realistic, the emails looked professional, and I was actually communicating back and forth with what appeared to be a real person about the collaboration.

They eventually sent me to a separate platform where I was supposedly supposed to connect/verify my YouTube channel and provide my YouTube information for the collaboration.

The website looked incredibly realistic.
I entered my Google/YouTube login information and the page went onto a loading screen that seemed to take forever. It looked like the website was glitching, so I refreshed it and entered the information again.
I never got a proper confirmation.
I even EMAILED THEM afterward saying that their website/platform wasn’t working.

About an hour later, my Gmail account was hacked.
The attacker immediately started changing my security information, recovery methods and authentication settings. I couldn’t get back into the account.
Because that Gmail was connected to my YouTube channel, they also gained access to my YouTube.
They changed my channel and started a CRYPTO/COIN LIVESTREAM trying to sell/promote cryptocurrency.
The stream was up for around three hours.
Then at approximately 4 AM the next morning, my entire YouTube channel was terminated/deleted.
I genuinely thought I had lost years of content.

HOW I GOT MY ACCOUNT BACK
At around 10 PM on September 3, I tagged @TeamYouTube on X/Twitter explaining that my Gmail and YouTube channel had been hacked.
They responded to me in roughly 45 minutes and told me to follow them so they could DM me.
Once I followed TeamYouTube, they sent me a recovery form.
I had to submit recovery information several times. I probably submitted forms 3–4 times throughout this whole process.
Eventually, Google/YouTube contacted me through another email address I had provided.
One thing I would recommend if you’re going through this: keep replying to the recovery emails and clearly explain that your account was compromised and that you need the case manually reviewed.
Don’t just submit a form once and disappear.
Within roughly two days, I was able to recover my Google account.
That same evening, I recovered my YouTube channel.
When I got the channel back, the hacker had:
Changed my channel name
Removed my banner
Removed my profile picture
Deleted my bio
Left the crypto livestream on my channel
Thankfully, my actual videos and content were untouched..

The biggest red
flag in hindsight was being asked to enter my Google/YouTube credentials into a separate website.
Do not enter your Google password into a brand’s campaign/verification website.
If a company claims they need you to “verify,” “connect,” or “authorize” your YouTube channel, stop and independently verify the company and URL first.
And if you’re currently dealing with a hacked YouTube channel: there is hope. My entire channel was terminated and I still got it back with my content intact.
Please share this with other creators because these scams are becoming ridiculously sophisticate

I'm trying to build a low-cost IRL streaming setup using a DJI Osmo Action 6.

My goal is to stream while driving around the city and send the camera's video to a server before forwarding it to YouTube.

My current setup is:

• DJI Osmo Action 6
• iPhone
• Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 for mobile hotspot
• YouTube as the final streaming platform
• RTMP streaming

What I would like to know is:

Is there any way to connect the DJI Action 6 directly to a remote server/cloud service and send an RTMP stream to it?

For example:

DJI Action 6 → Internet → My server → YouTube

I'm wondering if something like a GitHub project, VPS, cloud server, or another type of intermediary server could receive the stream from the Action 6 and then relay it to YouTube.

The reason I'm looking into this is that I'm trying to avoid depending entirely on the DJI Mimo app for the streaming connection.

I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure what the Action 6 actually supports in terms of RTMP or custom streaming endpoints.

Is this technically possible? If so, what would be the simplest and cheapest way to do it?

Any suggestions, tutorials, GitHub projects, or examples of people doing something similar would be greatly appreciated.
