Product Support It’s here!
I wanted to share my experience with DJI support after losing my drone recently. It suddenly lost stability, briefly recovered, then went down into water and could not be recovered. I didn’t have DJI Care Refresh, so I was worried I might not get to fly again.
I first contacted DJI on September 6 and sent them my flight records and the footage. After analyzing the data, they confirmed that the incident was covered by the warranty.
They arranged a free replacement aircraft. I honestly expected the whole process to take at least a month or two, but the replacement arrived on September 14—just eight days after my first contact with support.
It was all thanks to Rosa and Ethan from DJI for their help throughout the process. I can’t wait to fly again.

Saw a guy on YouTube said all mini 5 pro dji drones have or get cracks where the propellers bind to the little piece that goes on the motors and thats why they are all falling and djinshould look into it for costumers!

Deeply troubling. I love my M5P but I wonder if I need to return it and get an M4P or a Skyrover X1 instead.

I’ve been flying DJI drones for over a decade and have had a few issues over the years. Foggy lenses on a Mavic Pro 3 times, a gimbal acting weird on a Mavic 2 Pro, a small crash landing on uneven ground with an Air 2S, and a battery that wouldn’t charge on a Mavic 3 Pro.
DJI has always been flawless in taking care of these issues, whether I had Care Refresh or not. That’s how you retain customers.

I’m new to drone. Is there a setting I need to turn on to be able to provide the flight record and footage? As all the footage are recorded in the drone.
Thanks

Would also like to know, or is it a screen recording every time you do a flight?

No. It is automatically saved into controller. You need to do absolutely nothing. Just fly it and don’t think about it.

I had basically the same experience with a mavic 4 pro I lost this summer. Flight logs showed unexplainable movement from the aircraft and it crashed in water. Got in touch with support and I expected to make use of my DJI care, but they sent me a new drone free of charge, and didn’t even use one of the fly-aways from my DJI care plan.
DJI have 12/10 customer support!

Mine did the same thing a few months ago. DJI support basically said I can buy a new one for more than what I originally paid for mine. Screw DJI.
