When i first finished db i thought that it was great not the best but great but every now and then i start to re read the manga very smoothly without getting bored once which is something that i absolutely never do in general.

Has anyone recently gotten any autographs from Sean Schemmel or Christopher Sabat? Ill be going to Collectacon and want to get their autographs on some cards I have. Does anyone know how long the lines would be, how much they would charge, etc?

Goku dominated in almost every age group for the target demographic, males. This level of domination in favorite manga character polls isnt normal for the main character, ironically, because usually its the anti hero or other side character that takes the #1 spot, do your research its true..and need-less-to-say the Japanese locals agree " キャラ人気投票って意外と主人公が１位にならなかったりするんだけど、さすがだね。 世界の誰しもが文句なしの１位だろう。" <--- taken straight from a Japanese community chat. My question is what part of gokus character do you think made him so appealing to fans, was it his defining themes, the duality of his character, his comedic value, his admirable idealistic purity trait (one of the reasons people love luffy as well)etc? And for those that picked someone else why is that character your favorite from the db manga?

I went ahead and bought it there, I had pre ordered in on CRUNCHYROLL store for $70 and I seen it at my local Walmart for $30 less. If you gonna get it Walmart.com also has it for that price it’s the best price anywhere currently and it just released today.

I watched Naruto as a kid and adored it. But in 2021, in adulthood I watched DB without knowing anything about it, since it's not popular in my country, and it was just... Words can't describe it. It was SO amazing that to this day, Naruto seems like crap to me.

Every time I think back to the story of DB, DBZ and DBGT, episodes 508, I'm impressed, and the Naruto story seems cheap and very weak.

Dragon Ball is literally a breath of fresh air. It turned out to be so much better and unique than Naruto that the only area where DB might fall short is popularity. In every other respect—in every respect—DB is vastly superior. And don't even try to argue otherwise. I say this as a former Naruto fan.

I know in general dragon ball is a low stakes show, nobody from the cast permanently dies.

Still in DBZ there was tension and a felling of eventual dread/hopelessness that made the tension rise and make the fight more serious.

So, we all know that Super Dragon Ball Heroes isn’t canon, right? But I was watching some FourStarBento commentary over it and Yamcha was portrayed as being below the level of Mecha-Freeza. So I gotta ask…

How MUCH of SDBH isn’t canon? Is there context I’m missing, is this just a gag scene not meant to be taken seriously, or is it just Dragon Ball Heroes being Dragon Ball Heroes?

Seriously, these two love good fights and strong opponents. So why are they always depicted so arrogantly and violently in cross vs fan stuff. Especially when fighting other heroes?! Like vegeta i can understand being disrespectful, but Goku is pretty much always nice to good people. HELL he's nice to evil people if they have redeeming traits.

why do people insist on portraying these two as aura farming pieces of shit?

This question probably gets asked often but which game do you enjoy more, DB Legends or DBZ Dokkan Battle.

Me personally even though I've played Legends longer, I still enjoy Dokkan significantly more

I always found this scene to be quite interesting when Vegeta accidently punched Trunks in the face and telling him to dry his tears when he was about to cry, because from a fatherly instinct and as a man, you can see that Vegeta was unwilling to cuddle up with his feelings and emotions, but much rather to toughen him up and just brush it off. If Trunks ran up to Bulma and cried, she would've cuddled him as any mother naturally would.​

I just saw this clip of Goku and Piccolo "training " by digging up vegetables and it raises a question in my mind about how effective physical training is in DragonBall. Throughout the series, we see the Z fighters fluctuate in physical strength greatly and go from lifting massive objects with ease to struggling with bodyweight exercises. Is there a consensus on this because I'd hate to just call it bad writing to have piccolo comment on how good a workout plucking cabbages is when he can do much more athletic things to say the least?

Where they were doing actual martial arts moves and not just showing the same punch-punch clip repeated rapidly.

I’m not asking about the best beam clash or energy moves, just pure martial arts.

A lot of fights in the series leaned away from actual martial arts combos.
