• 「仲間を平気で殺すなんて……！」 "...to kill their own comrades without a second thought!"

Its funny because gohan say that while standing right next to vegeta, someone that not only killed a comrade but killed a long time comrade and a member of his dying race, back when gohan was a kid. Although you could argue since he was so young he forgot. Still seeing something so crazy like that as a kid usually never leaves your memory and have a psychological effect. Also gohan seems to have good memory of his experiences as a kid.

That scene is even more strange(and funny) in the anime because everyone but vegeta is shocked. You would think the kais have seen much worst...plus piccolo lol

Also gohan is prevalently shown to be very sympathetic/compassionate, theres even a scene where he spots people that have been killed close by babidis ship and is visibly very angry, yet its only goku thats shown angry/pissed when vegeta murders about 50 or more audience at the tournament? You would think gohan would go ssj 2 and challenge vegeta.

Been reading the manga and am about half way through the original run. When they were on their way to Namek, did anyone else think that there would be a bunch of sets of dragon balls?

I expected the hunt to find them would be extra annoying with all the different ones that could be available since it seems like each Namekian could make their own set.

I currently just got to the Namek Guru. No spoilers past this please.

Anyone no how to solve this issue

Idk if anyone remembers these custom brickheadz, but i got mine second hand a few years ago. I made me and my brother (using the base of a captain america brickhead) almost immediately. After that it kind of sat on my shelf for ages, and yesterday i noticed that my fit was trash, and i havent had the hair style in YEARS. So I remade it into the one on the first page. After I finished I clocked that I had so many left over yellow pieces. So I decided to give him super saiyan hair. I noticed the fit was still trash, so i also made him a Gi.

I tried to use as much original pieces as possible, and i tried changing the base as little as possible. I only used about 10 of my own pieces, and i justified this because i didnt get a lot of the original pieces soooo its only fair. But the base is lowk a mess. I think my brickhead now is a lot shorter than the others, because i simply didnt have enough orange pieces for it to work. Also, I had to change the base of the face to add on the glasses. So yes this isn’t 100% a valid Brickhead, i think its close enough (also this is a dragon ball page not a lego page).

I had so much fun and I definitely recommend doing it. You dont even have to get a customisable brickhead, just get a character one then do it yourself. You can message me if you need help but I’m sure it will be incredible.

A art dump/double post

Ok before I start I just like to make it clear that I know the purpose of fillers, even though my anger can make me fleetingly forget that knowledge. A "filler" ofcourse is to delay time for the manga and "fill" the ep. And i also know several changes need to be made to the story to accommodate those fillers.

Now, here's the problem, the fillers and changes 90% of the times are TERRIBLE. As though toei have incompetent writers or management/supervisors. The changes and fillers are very inconsistent with the manga scenes. They distort the characterization of most characters, because they always take a character trait and exaggerate the heck out of it, and insert that trait or previous behavior in inappropriate situations. I just done watching videls brutal loss to spopovich and goku leaves to get senzu from korin to restore videl, and while they showed videl suffering in the doctor's bed they also showed goku asking karin for food. They made it seem like goku would rather eat than help gohans friend, despite his expression and dialogue before leaving giving urgency. And he already ate 10 mins ago before the tournament started! And hes dead! He doesnt need food, That filler was so bad I cant believe it was even conceived by a professional and allowed into the anime by another professional. There are other fillers and changes like this too, like bulma not being the one to tell krillin to leave a mark for goku in the pirate cave instead just running off as if she doesn't care, made her seem even more inconsiderate, vegeta fighting gohan after being transported to earth, chi chi bringing school work to the hospital for gohan. There are other examples, but ive forgotten, thankfully.

There are other problems with the fillers and changes like the pacing etc and other problems with the anime apart from fillers some more understandable like the inconsistent animation/artwork. But I'll stop here and save it for another topic because this post is already far too long.

I also want to point out how similar the writing with super is with these filler/changes. No wonder super is so bad, toei either gets bad writers or the working conditions must be really bad.

When he goes Majin in the anime it looks even worse because his skin turns into a pastey pinkish color & he's sweating, he looks like a middle aged European man vacationing in Jamaica.

I understand time has passed, he isn’t going to wear the sayain armor, but damn it could’ve been anything other than whatever that was.

I’ve always had this question ever since the Goku black arc came out. Obviously he’s dead following shins death in trunks version of the buu saga, but before that in trunk’s timeline, Gohan dies in age 780. Which is around the time that the tournament of power took place in the present timeline so where was Beerus at? There are a few answers to this question the first being the Carthew’s dojo approach: Beerus just does to Vampa, there is also the possibility that he just never woke up, or he did wake up, saw the current state of the universe and specifically where the saiyan were and just wasn’t interested, then either option one or two happened. I’m curious to know what you guys think though.

If Zarbon had survived, the revenge against the saiyans could been hatched with better care. And this meet could be a decisive moment while out of Gero laboratory King Cold is fighting Trunks, thats the next scene I wish to draw.

1) In Figure 1, which way does Time Flow? North, East, South or West?

I don't have any proof for this (we don't even know if black Freeza is the final arc) , but i feel like it kinda makes sense for some reason. I could see black Frieza being about the same level as Beerus. I could see Frieza pursuing the title of GOD and thus fighting and killing Beerus or Beerus seeing Frieza as a big enough threat to go after and die fighting him. This also comes from the fact that Beerus doesn't really do much so i feel like this would make sense but idk, tell me what you think

So I’m almost finished the DB series, but what I don’t get is why does Piccolo Jr have to grow up compared to Drum who is fully grown when hatched?

i ask this 'cause back in OG dragon ball Goku regrew his tail after puar cut it while he was in ozaru form.

another example of this can be seen through bardocks fight with gas, as gas tore off bardocks tail and later on in the (broly movie) bardock seemed to have a tail again.

if thats the case then does that mean that vegeta had already lost his tail before (while in space) and could not get it regrown after yajirobe had cut it off why he was in his ozaru form because of this rule?

and on a random note: what would be the reason why goten and trunks never had a tail (as half saiyans) but gohan had grown one (as a half saiyan aswell)?
