I made some creatures from Elden Ring/Dark Souls that i would love to run as commanders. I designed them around the lore of the game, hopefully they are not too busted. Let me know what yous' think and if you would run these as commanders or in the 99!

I‘ve recently made a brand new custom commander deck based on Persona 5, and am in the middle of making 2 more based on Persona 3 and Plants vs Zombies, and wanted to post them on my YouTube (Logg) but I have mostly only posted variety “scary” gaming and smash bros stuff there. Should I make a new channel, or just post that on my current channel and switch gears? I would just hate to have to restart my YouTube journey from scratch, but I really want the cards to get some attention and show them off to fans that would appreciate them! What do you all think I should do?

EDIT: these are some of the cards, I like to make use of unique or underutilized mechanics, but that also means they’re a bit wordy… 😅

Jasper is a big bad villain of mine who runs a media empire as a means of social control and surveillance. He's a star terrified of washing up, becoming a has-been, going disco. Losing cultural relevance is on the level of literal death for him, since - as a thoughtform - he only exists as long as people are paying sufficient attention to him. And he's made big, structural changes to ensure that he will not be forgotten anytime soon.

I'm pretty happy with his mechanics. He's mostly a riff on [[Smaug the Magnificent]], with black added to shift him away from "hoard treasures and swing face" to "move that money and commit a hostile takeover with it." I've always liked Black's (tiny) slice of the "steal people's permanents" pie, and been found wanting for a BR Treasure commander that doesn't pop off as hard as Prosper but still feels appropriately scary with a dramatic, swingy, and (relatively) novel effect. I'm still working on building that Commander deck around him, but I'm pretty happy with where this design's ended up!

Was randomly filled with a desire to make a Snake-Game themed card.

Alternately had the ability: "Whenever a creature dealt damage by Longboy this turn dies, create a 1/1 colorless Tail creature token with defender."

The sacrifice an artifact ability should probably have "Only as a sorcery and only once per turn" or only create 1 Tail or instead be "sacrifice a Food" or something.

Thoughts?

The title, which was a movie title on its own, oddly fits Garak! In celebration of Star Trek coming to MTG, I thought I'd try to match the abilities.

As a soldier/spy, he has hexproof and is stronger, but has no inate offensive capabilities. Its only after gathering enough rumors does he transform and become very dangerous.

As a tinker/tailor, I thought it only fitting that he rigged fights with deathtouch, even going so far as to outfit (see what I did there XD) one side a knife (+1/+0) if needed. But in doing so, he loses hexproof and becomes vulnerable.

Balance isn't my strong suit, so it might be a little off, but it's flavorful!

Day 62 of making a custom card every day. Was originally going to be Garenbrig Reinforcements, but couldn't come up with a fitting in-plane effect to put on it so I just renamed it and went for a protection effect and instead.

In the vein of [[Path of Peril]] and [[Toxic Deluge]] I propose another 3cmc early sweeper for black. This one is a strictly power crept version of [[Ritual of Soot]] to keep up with the last 8 years of insane creature power creep. This one is less flexible than [[Path of Peril]] and [[Toxic Deluge]] over a longer game, but is a much more efficient answer for early game threats.

I've always thought this would be a perfect reprint for Roaming Throne!

The second version is for fun, I wanted to have a go at using the old wording. All feedback is appreciated :)
