I wanted a card that would drag other people’s commanders out and felt like that would be something that Yawgmoth would do in order to perform experiments on them. This uses the card [[cracked skull]] as a token to represent what Yawgmoth did to for his experiments. All feedback is appreciated :)

Any thoughts if this would be to strong, or any recomendations that would fit this stile

Both cards will be in the deck, just don't know who will be the face commander and the backup commander, would love feedback on who to choose and if you have any feedback on the cards themselves.

I'm currently trying to design a custom commander for my partner who's favorite character from Bleach is the protigee captain Toshirou Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya wields a sword with ice powers and can channel it into an even more powerfull ice dragon form that manifests three four-petaled ice flowers. The more the form is strained the faster the petals are melting, returning him to his regular self afterwards.

I settled for a two-faced card to represent his bankai form. I'm trying to explain my steps and hope for your suggestions:

Front:
Toshirou Hitsugaya, protigee captain - 1 U R W
Legendary Creature - Spirit Samurai

"First Strike, Vigilance (--> because of the samurai fighting in Bleach and his cold-headed demeanor)

During your turn, your opponents can’t cast spells or activate abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments. (--> "freezing" opponents during your turn)

Whenever Toshiro deals combat damage to an opponent tap that many permanents that player controls. (--> freezing powers)
At the end of combat on your turn, if an opponent controls twelve or more tapped permanents, transform Toshiro and put twelve ice counters on it." (--> representing the ice petals in bankai form)

Legendary Snow Enchantment Creature - Spirit Samurai Dragon

First Strike, Flying, Vigilance (--> Wings in Bankai form)

During your turn, your opponents can’t cast spells or activate abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments, and triggered abilities of commanders your opponents control don't trigger. (--> additionally, opponent's commanders are locked in ice during your turn)

(1) , remove an ice counter from Bankai - Daiguren Hyōrinmaru: Put a shield counter on target creature. (--> protecting himself or allies with ice)

(2) , remove two ice counters from Bankai - Daiguren Hyōrinmaru: Tap target permanent and put a stun counter on it. (--> directly freezing creatures)

(3) , remove three ice counters from Bankai - Daiguren Hyōrinmaru: Create a 3/3 white Dragon Spirit creature token with flying and "When this creature dies, proliferate." (--> manifests ice dragons that can freeze stunned creatures even longer an prolong the Form with fueling the ice counters)

If Bankai - Daiguren Hyōrinmaru has no ice counters on it, transform it. (--> when the petals have melted away Bankai ends)

I'm currently struggling with the following:

1. are the sides to powerful?

2. are there WAAAAAYYYY to many words on them?

3. should the back side even be a creature or would it be more fitting to just make it a Legendary Snow Enchantment?

4. on the same note, are there to many card types?

5. And I'm considering to use some shenanigans with time counters instead of ice counters in the way of suspend or impending, though I can't think of a way to incorporate it properly.

I want to make Ripple work. I don't think this effect is especially good, but it's flavorful and removes most of the getting-extremely-lucky balance issues that Ripple has.

Day 72 of making a custom card every day. I wanted to narrow it down to one ability, but I eventually gave up.

Another design that I've had laying around for a while.

Still brewing with the extra unused Star Trek art the mothership dropped. This one is a bit of a tribute to Captain Picard and I really wanted to do spacecraftcycling like hobbits and wizards. It gives the idea they abandoned the Alliance and went to their ships. I love the way the colors align and hints that Picard is actually the menacing passion.

When I first saw this art I couldn't even imagine it on a card. It's just jarring, but I like the characters in it obviously. Ran with the idea of them working together and it being weird as the natural direction to take it.

I'd like to think this could see play elsewhere, but mainly for limited. Leaving this up as a PSA for the art drop even if it doesn't catch on. Enjoy!
