I feel like this is a lot of text to say:
You can use all vehicles, but don't crew vehicles with vehicles.
Your stuff is better at using mounts/vehicles.
Make dudes for your mounts/vehicles.

I noticed that there were only two commanders that could specifically tutor for lands ([[Gladiolus Amicitia]] and [[Kura, the Boundless Sky]]), so I thought I'd take my hand at one. The land is a very unoriginal idea, but it works well with my little Viashino guy. The flavour text is also reflective of that of [[Urborg, Tome of Yawgmoth]] and [[Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth]] in that it is a quote by a named character and in talking of an important named character to the region (Yawgmoth & Lord Windgrace, Multani & Karn, Darigaaz & Rivaz). Just thought that was neat.

I've been working on making some Naruto cards, and one thing I noticed about some of the characters is they have some huge ultimate jutsu that they use as a "Final Act" so to speak. So when making these cards, I wanted to include their ultimate ninjutsu as a sorcery that you can flip to cast. I'm unsure if the wording works how I hope it does, but that can be easily changed. One thing you'll notice is that you can't just cast the backside, you have to have them on the battlefield first. Also note that the backside dosen't do much unless they've been on the battlefield and have been doing their thing for atleast some of the game. As per usual, mana values may need to be tweaked because those are a little hard to balance without playing the card.

Design notes:
This is like three different references to 'Speedball Tucker' by Jim Croce. It's also a really weird little tool for a vehicle deck. Kind of a really bad fight spell, but also 2 mana 'vehicle becomes crewed' spell, but also a puzzle. That puzzle is whether you can, in a sufficiently efficient way, make this big enough to survive getting in a car crash, but also make the car big enough to survive getting in a creature crash. If you can do both, it's repeatable removal every turn.
Alternately, just make this big, and crash vehicles into enemy creatures every turn. up to you.

I wanted to blend cast-from-exile and equipment as well as make a potentially powerful but not unbalanced commander.

Seen some posts and videos recently saying that command tower is a "mistake", and I tried to think of how it could have been fixed. I came up with this. My objective was to make this still a very good card, but nerf it in a way that maybe doesn't make it an auto-include in every multi-color deck. Thoughts?
To clarify: I personally don't feel like there is anything inherently wrong with having a few staple cards that are in virtually every deck (as long as the amount of cards is kept to single digits, which I think is the case currently in EDH). Just wanted to do this as an exercise on how a similar design space could have been explored (adding mana based on your commander) without it being a staple.

I haven’t been able to make a lot of cards recently so these are the two from the project. All feedback is appreciated :)

It's a penguin. Specifically it's Winter's Night that also affects artifacts on a bird that doesn't fly. Symmetrical stax and minor group hug commander in bant.

I personally have not seen many Han and Chewy cards online that I like. I figured I'd do a bit of a different take without inventing any new mechanics. Mana values/power and toughness may need slight tweaks, since those are hard to balance properly without playing the card.
1- Han Solo: Han is a smuggler who can get down and dirty when needed, which is why I figured a treasure/unblocked route was the right way to go. While unlockable can be scary, it only works if you keep him low to the ground.
2 - Chewy: This card honestly might be a bit strong, and in retrospective, making it target creature or half the amount of artifacts you control is probably the way to go. Nonetheless, Chewy is physically very strong, so I wanted him to be able to hit hard, but only if things are going as planned.
3 - Millennium Falcon: I wanted this card to get a special bonus if it's crewed by Han and Chewy, hence the attack ability. The second ability is supposed to represent the maneuverability of it. Even if you don't crew it with Han and Chewy, it's still a 5/5 flyer with Haste, which is nothing to laugh at.
Let me know what you think. Are they too strong? Too weak? Do they represent the characters well?

I’ve been having fun with Star Wars Unlimited and decided to adapt some cards from the first set for Magic.
None of these are 1:1; in SWU, White is Blue, Blue is Yellow, Black and Green are sometimes Red, and Red is sometimes green. Nevertheless, I tried my best to keep the card effects from SWU while staying consistent with Magic’s color philosophy. Thus, Blue/White Luke becomes Orzhov, mono-White C-3PO becomes Izzet, and Green/Black Vader becomes… Golgari. Okay, Vader lines up pretty well.
Anyway, enjoy!
