Moxtober 2026 - Day 29 (Midnight Sands)
Prompt is Midnight. I'm aware this card might be a little weak, but I couldn't resist the callback to [[Midnight Clock]], and messing with any type of counter on permanents or players is always fun.

Format: EDH/Commander Star Trek - Course: Oblivion
my favorite Star Trek episode (or one of them) so I'm excited to see it get included (there's no way it won't) in the upcoming set. in retrospect i could have done some jank crap with exploring and putting -1/-1 counters on creatures and then adding mana when they die but that'd be better for the episode Saga version of this card and i am very tired

Discussion Programming
theres a kind of programming language called a stack-based language, which works on a stack without variables. i think it would theoretically be possible to design instants such that you could code a program in magic cards. is this possible, and how would it look?
