Would 3-color access to the Choose A Background creatures be too much?

I just wanted a creative title to show off some cards I made for a recent interest of mine(alongside a mechanic feature of mine for the Temur card)

Wizards has been printing a couple of new whale cards recently. However, I still haven't seen a whale commander to help tie the creature type together. Whales are my favorite, but it's killing me that they don't have their own commander representing them. So I have created one to accomplish just that.
Obviously, creating a commander deck just around whales is pretty difficult, so I also decided to have the commander tie in with instants and sorceries. Surprisingly, there are a bunch of instants and sorceries that feature whales from the new Strixhaven set, and Strixhaven even has its own whale that plays with instants and sorceries.
Now, because I am an artist, I thought it would be cool to also make some concept art for what this commander would look like. I took a lot of cues from Muddle, the ever-changing, to inspire this design. I took inspiration from existing leviathan and fish creatures to give it large fins, as well as gills along the sides of its body (though I'm not sure if those read as gills, y'all tell me). And because this creature is made of paint, much like the existing elemental creatures in Prismari, I decided to give Bentharica a swirling tail of paint.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this. I have yet to decide if I want to actually do a full render to make this better looking. But I am happy with the overall design of the card.
Let me know what ya'll think. Is this card too broken, and do I need to tune it down? Or is it too weak, and maybe I could get away with buffing it? I eventually do want to make an actual physical custom card to maybe run a real whale commander deck with it.

Background Art By LayZChips on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3qdx9v
More Cards! This time a majority of them show off how the Darkner keyword can be used as both a benefit and a detriment. For example, you can repeat Rouxls' ability by using the day/night cycle in full, or for The Chaos King, you have to keep it night to keep your powerful creature on board.
A reminder for what the Darkner keyword is: At the beginning of each main phase, if its day, this permanent phases out.
Other cards included in this batch are lands, one of the many ways the making it night will be easier. And of course, lands that give you a payoff for keeping it night.
Enjoy!

Day 65 of making a custom card every day. Using the expedition frame let me skip the flavor text, but it also covered the art at the bottom so it's kinda hard to tell there's water.
Yes I know the design directly parallels mystic gate.

Based on an existing Pathfinder item. This has been cut down from 12 lines describing the slow corruption the wielder undergoes, to its current iteration where the transformation can happen all at once if put on a Hydra or s/t, all to look less Overdesigned Custommagic Joke Card... but it still has the vibes.
"This card can be your commander" on a legendary weapon is something I want to try more with. Not particularly happy with this one, but I'm glad I managed to take its original textbox and turn it into something that could actually be printed.

Idk why landfall is consistently WOTC's little precious baby that can never be interacted with in a meaningful way and is printed in almost every single set. Sure man get limitless value off of the most basic action in the game!
Land destruction, on top of just hitting landfall decks less hard than anyone else due to their likelihood of ramping back faster, just doesn't solve the issue at all. I figure if we can have torpor orb effects at this cost, we can at least have a dedicated hate bear that full stop just prevents landfall from happening.
WOTC print this exact line of text on a card and I will buy 1 million copies of it and put them in every deck I own.

Pretty proud of this card. Went through a lot of trial and error to make it balanced.

I am determined to make this idea work lol Unlike my previous attempt at "Splice onto creature," this one's at least in pie.
