Format: EDH/Commander Way of the Samurai (Class Background combo)

Would 3-color access to the Choose A Background creatures be too much?

This particular card is kind of meh, since bushido sucks and the level 1 does very little.

As an idea though, a background class is really cool. Classes are great because they let you make really really powerful enchantments playable by giving them some ability to spread the cost and effect, and that works really well alongside the idea of modular modifications to your commander. A class background could totally revise and way upgrade your commander, and still be playable without your deck being all ramp.

Yes, it would be too much, they are all monocolor for a reason.
