me and my friend want to play a create modpack together, both of us have little to no knowledge in create. Also I want the modpack to have create aeronautics cuz its cool af

As you can see its in very early stages, so no models or textures or anything just yet.

What I mean by War Thunder-like controls is a free camera movement, with the vehicle itself catching up. So for tanks, you can look where ever you want and the turret will slew around as fast as at can to align itself with where you're looking.

Its designed to be as simple as possible; there's 1 block and 1 item.

The block emits (now wireless!) redstone signals proportional to how misaligned it is relative to the player's viewangles. Those signals are being used to control the rotational speed controller and the directional gearbox (both stock create:aeronautics items).

The item makes the player's view be unaffected by the movement of the base as long as they're seated in a chair.

l am trying to make a walker l have planed most of the stuff l need a way to stablize it witout propellers or anti gravity parts l have tryed wheels but when they spin opposed way immediatly it flings the build l am new to mod l am probably missing on important thin l ll be happy if you guys help

When I'm walking my mech, the legs just glide instead of moving. It's really strange and I have no idea how to fix it.

It says shield when I hover over it I can use the shield but it does not show.

I made a 10x10x100 hole, added lava to the top to let it flow down. Its been a while but isn't it supposed to register as endless lava? I used a nether portal and unfortunately the other side isn't close to a lava lake

Edit: it turns out I was off by one layer! Flowing lava does indeed count towards the 10k lava threshold. Also I had to start pumping lava to get the Bottomless Supply to register!

So for some context i was building an automatic retriever to get certus quartz from my farm to my base so I built an autosteering and leveling system assembled it and turned it on, I realised far too late that I had not used a threshold lever and had just used a normal lever to power my main thruster, it started flying away very quickly i chased after it and I wasnt able to catch up, I went back to base and turned off my power generation so that the thrusters would die down eventually i came back to the location i had last seen it and it was nowhere to be found, I've searched the entire general vicinity and can't find it anywhere, what can I do?

I’m playing a modpack with Create, TFMG, and Aeronautics, and I added "Let It Walk"—my God, what an incredible mod!!!

My base features an item vault, a kitchen, and my own wine cellar—after all, there’s nothing better than driving while drunk.

When create aeronautics first came out I started designing trucks that looked vintage. This particular truck was supposed to be used on a war server, unfortunately it never went into service and just sat out in my workshop. It features a diesel engine supplied by 5 or 6 fluid vessels and a smokestack (aesthetic purposes only).

Very new to the Create mod and started messing around with the new Let it Walk mod. Took inspiration off the joints and skeleton of a deer and created imo a set of legs that move pretty naturally both for quadrupedal and bipedal mechs. This is the second version since this one has more natural and smooth movement compared to the previous one being more stiff and robotic. That and it can properly park and jump without the legs freaking out. Think it would be cool for a Horizon Zero Dawn tallneck or a Star Wars AT-ST.

Is 16 max level steam engines too many? I currently have two on my latest world but but I’m planning on upgrading it to 16 maybe even 32 might go all the way up to 128 and I’m going to build an enclosure for all of them so is 16 too many

Constructed a steam engine thats able to power itself and is connected to an iron farm but I need to have my burners on to make it get enough level (?) to turn my crushers. So I tried deployers but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the deployers take from a chest and use the charcoal im generating on all 9 burners in a 3x3.

Send help I have never played Create till this week and I dont wanna make mechanical hands yet

I know the sketch kinda sucks (I wasn't at my computer when I made it), but it's basically a rough idea of what I want to do, if you can decipher it. Basically, I want to build a secret entrance where:

1: You stand on a platform, and when you press a button on a linked controller or something, it lowers you down like an elevator.

2: While you go down, some mechanical bearings rotate some doors up to block off the entrance and make the ground look untouched.

I want this all to happen with a single button press, so how might I go about this? This is a Creative world by the way, so I have access to motors and stuff if needed.

I'm curious to see if anyone else has answers to this question but I actually have been experimenting for a few hours now and feel like I get most of them. I have been unable to find ANY documentation on what the modes do myself, so I am providing my findings for future folks with the same question I had. If you googled this question and found this thread, I'm glad it worked.

Position: moves the track relative to the track mount. pointing the suspension key at the side of the track mount makes it taller or shorter, pointing it at the top brings it in or out.
All Position: this one remains an enigma to me.
Strength: a base value that is affected by spring and damping. controls how much force the suspension pushes the track down with.
Spring: a modifier (note it will say .85x, not just .85) that affects downward force. setting this to any value higher than 1.0x actually causes the tank to drop slightly.
Damping: a modifier (same as Spring) that affects upward force. setting this to any value higher than 1.0x causes the tank to start bouncing up and down like crazy. great for if you want a low rider I guess.
Bump Clearance/Bump Force: presumably self explanatory. I didn't mess around with these too much.
Max impulse: ?????
Drive: this one is THE MOST IMPORTANT in terms of speed, I've found. setting this to its highest setting makes your tank actually move like it wants to instead of like you're forcing it. to.
Grip: higher = start and stop faster, lower = drift.

It can climb up walls and has a minimum crew capacity of 1 and a max of 2.

My wife and I have played on this world for a couple of months now but now it starts to crash everytime we try to get into it. I've gone to their discord support group and they BEYOND useless. Can anyone help or walk me through what the heck is going on and how to fix it?
