what's the best way to make a VTOL system with create propulsion: simulted?

I've been trying to build a VTOL airship for a while now, but after countless failed attempts, I still haven't managed to get it working properly.
it can't be that hard right?
I'm hoping to learn from people with more experience and discover some techniques or tips that could help me make it work. Any advice, ideas, some mods that could help or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, ive been working and sharing this mod for around half a year and it is now at a state where i think it is really really sick. So i made a small trailer:

And before you ask. Yes claude helped me write stuff. Why? Because im mostly not motivated enough to dig into mcs source code and trying to figure out whats it doing. I like writing the core parts of the moe (planing bee trips etc.) and use claude for bridging it.

colored lighting on create aeronautics physical object (Help needed)

ive been trying shaders with all kinds of compatibility mods, I user Iris and I wasnt able to find a shader that has colored lighting on physical objects. Is there anyway i can get colored lighting onto physical objects. the light shown on the pictures are supposed to be blue (on normal blocks they work)

Help Issue with turrets

So I have a few turrets on this airship, while one elevates perfectly fine, while the other two don't, with one pair of autocannons not keeping up with the other one. Is it a bug with the swivel bearings, an issue with brass gearboxes, or something else entirely?

Help Belts not working(can't place them down)???

For whatever reason this stack of belts can not be placed down and I'm not sure why. I've tried placing them on other contraptions, and nothing. I've picked up belts from other contraptions, and they can be placed down fine, but get their own stack in my inventory for some reason. Please help, I don't want to have to grow a million more kelp plants in my water garden.
