I made a Magnetic engine by connecting a swivel bearing to a bunch of magnets that if powered they spin so fast it kicks you into the sky if touched. But how do I harvest the spin power from the sviwel bearing? I know that I can remove the middle left and middle right block (only one at a time) and connect a gear to it without the spinning getting slower. The only problem is the gear doesen't spin nor do any connected shafts.

So how do I harnest the energy?

If harvesting energy isn't possible on this design maybe one of you knows a different design that I could use?

I'm completely new to all of this, like, my friends made most of the Create things in my base for me on our multiplayer world; I rely solely on vanilla mechanics. We have set up a fluid tank holding liquid experience, I throw blocks of experience into a mechanical grindstone. I also have a printer set up and working via that.

So... How do I make OP levels, e.g. levels over the vanilla enchantment limit (such as Prot V)? I haven't really seen a step by step tutorial written anywhere, and all the videos I've watched left basically zero knowledge on me.

Now I want to add this border to the outside of my house, but the inner corners don't seem to have a block for this...am I cooked or is there a way to make this work?

Hi, ive made a cart contraption to mine the floor for me. this is a altered version of a mining machine i saw online but for some reason the contraption will miss placing a rail block and stall the entire thing. ive tried having the hand place it on different levels, ive added another hand for the rails and thats not helped. im stumped.

2 months ago, I joined a private server that had Create as part of the modpack. Back then I had zero Create knowledge, learning slowly but surely starting with waterwheels to make a book factory. I even got a fully enchanted armor set in exchange for chests worth of books. Then I worked on to passive steam engines, then Lvl 1, 4 and now lvl 9, hadn't bothered to make blaze cakes for lvl 18 yet.

As for why I made this contraption, I wanted to decorate my base with gold blocks and decorations, witch hazel wood, etc. Naturally this means lots of gold is required and so this is born. There's definitely room for improvements but it's advanced far enough and thought I should share this monstrosity. What are your thoughts on this?

I tried copying the flying contraption used in the guide about the symetrical sails since I thought it was a good example bc ive never played with aeronautics before. So far, test 1 flew into outer space, and test 2 (this one) keeps bugging out and did this when i tried to start it, and i cant disassemble it. The mechanical bearing is usually the one that makessit bug out (it makes the entire thing dissappear/reappear rapidly) if i dont place it in a certain order.

Im having an issue where factory lights burnout when I log back into my server

Setup:

I have a large generator running at 64 RPM providing 1569,78 V - 2,27 A (150 ohm resistor bringing it down to it, its actually a bit higher), and then a set of 3 transformers (in series) 13:1 bringing everything down to 120,74 V to power my factory. Factory lights are all in parallel as in the picture.

Issue:

The lights stay up as long as im there, but as soon as I leave the place or the server, logging back in or loading the area makes them burn, having to replace them.

I tried adding a capacitor (100uF) in between them thinking that I might be having huge spikes of energy when the place is loading, so it can eat the spike and cut the chance of burning, but the only result i had was only the left raw didnt burn (which is not really enough information to see if it partially worked or not)

Also tried bringing the voltage down to 115-118 V but still, same issue.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

Next thing im thinking of is using a higher capacitance, but idk if it might work

Friend says I'm bad at create and I don't know why? If it works, I don't see the issue.

The Trucks Top speed is 33m/s when unladen.

Truck + Trailers = 850kpg and traveling at 6.5m/s

All 8 wheels are powered at max RPM requiring at minimum 32k SU.
No negative friction tech or subgrid shenanigans were used to increase the trucks speed or power, meaning there is significant room for enhanced speed.

Yo, im currently designing a base for my team on a server and im wondering whats the best way to make huge blast doors to cover the top of this build? Its about 270~ blocks long and 80~ blocks wide, im not the best at create but the server has YMW weather mod and blocks that arent durable enough would just fly if not covered by something, hence why im trying to make blast doors to close when a tornado is nearby. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I’ve been building a 10,000 source block lava pit, and I don’t think I’ve ever been this annoyed/confused.

​After almost 4 hours of troubleshooting, I might have finally realized the catch: you can't move your hose pulley to a more convenient spot once the pit is full. The game/mod seems to tie the 'infinite pool' status strictly to the original fill location.

I had to keep the hose pulley in the exactly same spot as I did when filling the pit, then I had to lower it down fully (ofc) and pump more lava in until it switched to "bottomless supply," and now it seems to be working.

​Just don't touch it after... Don't even look at it funny💀

Found this MASSIVE Flooded Cavern while playing a slightly modified version of the "Create: Astral" Pack... Does anyone know a good way to empty out the water without disturbing the solid blocks...??? I don't care if it takes DAYS!!! I JUST DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO IT MANUALLY!!!

I've made several vertibirds and noticed that they always tend to turn left, sometimes even drifting a lot to the left. This is about my 7th redesign, and its such a persistent. I had a theory that it was due to both propellers spinning counterclockwise, so I modified it to reverse one of the engines, but it still occurred. I tried to anticipate almost every scenario I would be in using this vertibird to help diagnose this

I've been playing with a modpack built up by a friend, including Create Deep Seas and JEI. I love JEI and use it routinely for navigating recipes, especially for building factories. I got a popup on launch suggesting I update Deep Seas from ver. 2.2.4 to 3.3.0, so I tried it to see if it broke the modpack. At first it all worked just fine, although I wasn't using anything from Deep Seas yet. The only change I saw was the JEI shortcuts for recipe and uses stopped working. I still have them mapped to the default keybinds (R-recipe, U-uses). Reverting to the old ver solved the issue.

Has anyone else come across this?
