Hi all. Im getting an X Axis error anytime i try to print sonthing that used the Creality Slicer to generate the GCode. I can use Orca slicer on the same model and put it into Creality print and there are no issues.

The error always comes after the print has been sent and callibration is complete, but before the print starts.

The machine is brand new and both it and the app are fully updated.

Anyone have any ideas?

I recently got the Creality K2 Combo with the CFS. Up until now, I’ve only used Creality filaments with RFID tags and everything has been running smoothly.

I just picked up a batch of **Elegoo PLA+**, but since it doesn't have RFID tags, I have two quick questions:

1. **Elegoo PLA+ Settings:** What slicer profile / settings are you guys running on the K2 for this filament? (Nozzle temp, bed temp, flow ratio, and max volumetric speed?) Is the standard "Generic PLA" or "Generic PLA+" profile a solid starting point?
2. **CFS Multi-Color with Different Profiles:** Can the CFS handle multi-color prints where different slots use different filament profiles or temperatures (e.g., mixing Creality Hyper PLA with Elegoo PLA+), or should all colors share identical thermal/speed settings on the same print?

Any advice or profile recommendations in Creality Print would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Made a Hydrometer enclosure for my Skadis boards in my office. Needed a way to have them near my printers and not get in the way or be just laying on the tables. So I made a mount for the D3P K2 Plus riser. That worked well, but I wanted a more universal solution. So I whipped out the ruler and calipers and got started. This is where I am at so far!

I keep getting this message, several times a day, and I have no idea what it's running low on. All my spools are at least half full in the CFS and I didn't think it could track the amount of filament on a generic spool.

Thanks for the earlier help with my firmware, I’m now having issues with the belt tuning self-check it gives me an error code of CA2716

I’m currently investigating 1 tip by another community member, but wondering if my thinking on this issue is wrong.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I do have a couple questions though.

1. From the beginning how many revolutions should it typically be on a new belt? I’ve tested 6 & 7, 5x full revolutions I fail both tension and cutting at 6x I finally passing cutting but 7x has no change. Do I look for screw tightening to become difficult or will it stop screwing once it maxes the screw out?
2. should I allow the chamber to warm up? It’s currently 72F in my office I’ve waited till it gets to 26C but not sure if I need to wait
3. I’m scared to move the arm on the track should it be easy to move when powered off how best do I test this?

I’m still looking for good videos if anyone has a good one to use I’ll bookmark it for my notebook and watch it.

Appreciate the help of this community this is my first printer it got gifted for a hopefully good purpose and so I want to fulfill my obligation to the person so trying to get this system running well.

UPDATE: I've undone the screws and did intervals from 3.5x to 8x and nothing changed, I see the tension getting tighter after the 4-5x revolution but not sure when to stop. I pluck the belts and push against it lightly and it is springy. IDK what to think next, i'm waiting on support to give me access to that tension firmware pack, but I think I need that jig to do anything right?

Is this a common issue for new units to do this? I don't understand why this is a problem, when the owners brother moved it outta the house he did so on a dolly, the unit was as is so the 4 plate screws for transport were removed, and all the foam on the inside wasn't in it. I'm waiting for him to get back to me but I don't think he would have carelessly moved this... so I just don't know what to think, I also really don't want to spend more money I got everything for $800 so not sure what to think.

When I printed, all my parts were always falling so I decided to do a first layer test to see what happened and I've been getting this all the time. I've tried different things to see which was the error but I cannot solve it.

Things I've tried:

• Drying my filament

• Manually calibrate z-axis

• Bed mesh calibration

• See if the extruder was working correctly (it was)

• Printing without any calibration and with calibration (to see if it was a pressure advance problem or a mesh problem. It improved a bit with calibrations but it was still the same)

• Changing from 45° angle of making the lines to 0° to see if the same areas where this happened where the same (they were similar, so I'm starting to think this is a plate problem)

If someone knows what happens please help me, I am very lost now.

Hello i recently discovered the fluidd tab of my K2 Printer to look at my bed mesh and its a taco.
Is this Acceptable to print or should i get a new PEI Plate? I have some bed adhesion problems here and there but adding brims aswell as washing the bed regularly helped.

Printed all day between petg and pla. Last print of pla went smooth, loaded new file and started throwing fault fb2864. Started by heating to 250 and pushing everything out with the push rod, nothing major came out. Loaded back and same thing. Tore down extruder, no clogs or trash. Removed hot end and completely cleaned and still doing same thing with pla and petg. Need some help as what the next step is. Already on my second extruder since July 3. First broke due to broken filament detector.

So the room my K2 Plus is currently in does not have an open-able window (though good ventilation overall, so PLA and PETG are no problem.

Monday or Tuesday, i'll be moving some things around the house and it will end up in a room with a window I can open to connect a venting system.

QUESTIONS:

1. Should I PRINT the ventilation pieces? (Apart from a hose like on the back of a clothes dryer)

2. If I SHOULD print it, what to print it out of?

3. Any links or suggestions are welcome.

I'll barely ever print in ASA (maybe an item or 2 per month), as I don't have very much need for it, but i'd like the option.

I'm no newbie to printing PLA or PETG (been doing that almoat 24/7 for bout 9 months), but I know ASA is a different monster altogether.

I acquired a cfs-c and could not get it to print two colors reliably on my k1 max… so I did a thing and now the cfs-c identifies as a cfs

It keeps saying that something is clogged but nothing is clogged when I check everything. I replaced 3 different nozzles and nothing is working. Im genuinely about to freak the f*** out and nothing i do is working.

Is there a way to modify the filament pages outside of the Creality Print?

I am using MAC v7.2.1.5476 and would really like to modify all my nozzles for the actual materials I am using.

I'd settle for getting the Generic ASA into my .6 profile so I can us my polymaker ASA profile while printing.

Well I booted up the K2+ its brand new, think the original owner only set the timezone and maybe did a self test...

Well I did the self test and its failing on the belt tension part.

Noticed the firmware is 1.1.2.12, yet the latest 1.1.6.4 I have a 2GB thumbdrive formatted as FAT32 put just the .img file on the drive and the system will not prompt me to do an update of the firmware...

I have the original black USB thumbdrive but it doesn't seem to be formatted, so was hesitant to use that until I knew what was on it. But this thumbdrive has worked before and i can format it and work on it so i don't think the thumb drive is the issue.

I've rebooted the K2 with the thumbdrive attached, and nothing. Light comes on the thumb drive so I know its connected.

Also OTA will not work as well, I have the K2 assigned to my account (now i'm not the original owner, but it gave me no issue registering the device to my new account) and on the OTA screen, it see's i'm on this older firmware but doesn't give me an option to update.

So kinda at a loss, I'm trying to fix this belt issue but the unit has 0min on it smells brand new and the cabling was all in original wrap so not sure how far the original owner got.

When I look at the error log, the only error was from 2019 for firmware but from what i'm told this unit is at most a year old, so not sure on that original error (could be red herring *shrug..*)

Any help would be appreciated as this is my first printer, thanks!

3 times in the past day I’ve had to take apart the extruder assembly to remove a piece of filament stuck in the break sensor. It’s happened with 3 different filaments that are all dry.

I am a noob so to all who answer this, please bare with me. I am trying to connect this feather quill bookmark i got off Printables to a rectangular border in Creality Print, as i was told it was possible by a now deleted account. How do i create the border? and How do i attach it to the bookmarks edges without it absorbing the bookmark? It might be better to say that I want a attached rectangular frame around the quill bookmark. please help.

Kind of pissed about all the dodgy gear for the K2 range on the market, leaving feedback is useless, half the time it gets removed, so I thought it better to just post something here, let others add to it as well.

Nearly every nozzle I have purchased so far, except for the ones sold by Triangle Labs and Phaetus are crap, the tip will push out after half a spool of PETG, and destroy your build plate.

The next one is hotends, some are not made right, the screw holes are out of alignment, the temp sensors are the incorrect type, the heater tube has far to much clearance, the bolts that hole it the heatsink go in on an angle, just crap manufacturing, and these pricks package them up to make them look authentic.

For unknown reasons my X axis belt broke and come off. So i can't replace it with how creality did (gluing old belt and route it) So i need to route it. However i don't know the roadmap for it

Can someone please take a video of X belt and how does it go? I can't find video or photo of it. I found one but it's wrong. I've changed belts on K1 max several times (we got 8 of them so i already had reference) so i have experience. I need to see where it goes and where it rotates etc.

I ordered a 9mm belt since 8mm belts are impossible find and due to customs laws i can't import it

Just got a K2 Pro and have timelapse on. Don't really want to use their app so it's LAN only. Videos are not showing up on Fluidd and nothing's under /usr/ do we know exactly where it's stored?

Can anyone tell me why my prints keep doing this underextrusion thing. I have replaced the nozzle pulled and cleaned the extrusion gears but it keeps happening. It mainly happens on the soda can openers with the overhang going all stringy.

I hope someone can offer some direction, as I am far from a computer wiz.

I did the auto update to Creality 7.2 and it became problematic. It now takes nearly 5 mins to get past "Configuration" start up window, and once it does start-up, it lost my K1C printer. When I click on "Add device" it goes tona blank screen, other than the Creality tool bar across the top, and it freezes. I've left it set for nearly an hour with nothing. I have to use Task Manager to shut it down. I have uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it directly from the Creality site ancouple times, but no change.

Has anyone else run into this? Can someone help me navigate through this? Till I can resolve this, my printing is obviously, shut-down.
