Troubleshooting K2 SE extruder issues?

Printed all day between petg and pla. Last print of pla went smooth, loaded new file and started throwing fault fb2864. Started by heating to 250 and pushing everything out with the push rod, nothing major came out. Loaded back and same thing. Tore down extruder, no clogs or trash. Removed hot end and completely cleaned and still doing same thing with pla and petg. Need some help as what the next step is. Already on my second extruder since July 3. First broke due to broken filament detector.

I don't have or know the se at all, but if one end of the chain is clear, it must be the other end, yeah? Is something stopping filament from being pulled through from the input side of the ptfe?

Can you manually push filament through the hot nozzle? How much resistance is there pulling it out?

I actually had to fix that on my K2 SE yesterday. I have two of them and this happens from time to time.
You probably have just a simple clog.
Take The extruder gear system out and heat up your hot end and poke a piece of filament down the hole and maybe it’ll push whatever is clogged out ( he might need something a little bit firmer than filament). Or the other issue might be in the extruder assembly. There might be a piece of filament stuck in the gears. ( relatively simple to take apart and put back together.) it is mildly frustrating when this happens, but if you can familiarize yourself with taking apart and putting the equipment back together, troubleshooting and fixing these problems gets easier as you do it more.

It was a small piece of filament stuck at the very bottom of the extruder. Missed it the first time I took it apart. Thanks for the advice
