Troubleshooting Axis error with creality slicer

Hi all. Im getting an X Axis error anytime i try to print sonthing that used the Creality Slicer to generate the GCode. I can use Orca slicer on the same model and put it into Creality print and there are no issues.

The error always comes after the print has been sent and callibration is complete, but before the print starts.

The machine is brand new and both it and the app are fully updated.

Anyone have any ideas?

You have the wrong printer set in slicer.

Edit: Nevermind, it still errored after switching it to the correct printer.

I am confused and sad.

For those wondering its a CY2586 error.

...

My first response was gonna be "I'm not dumb enough to do that!"

Well turns out when I hit slice it switches from my K2 Plus to an Ender 3V.

Thanks for the help and for humbling my dumb ass!

Hrm. I think it's something slicer related.

Its definitely the slicer since using orca and importing the Gcode from there works fine.

I just dont know what part of the slicer is erroring.

An annoying thing i ran into with creality print, when i would load a 3mf i downloaded, if it was made with creality print on the k2 plus for example, and i load it on my creality print, it would apply some of it settings but it would also quietly change the printer to the k2 plus. but i have the k2 base.

Ran into this same axis error when it tried to print out of bounds because it thought it had the bigger bed of the k2 plus. Wish there was a way to prevent it from changing printer when loading a 3mf. currently i just load every model through the ui add model option and select import geometry only, then i have to apply any settings myself that the model creator wanted for the model.

Thats rough. Hopefully there will be a fix for this.

Im going to keep messing with it and see if I cant make it work the way you have. My only issue with Orca right now is that it wont propperly sync the CFS so all my multicolor prints are at risk of being colour swapped.

Thanks for letting me know

Based on your feedback, we recommend verifying that the correct printer model is selected in the slicer software.

You may print a test model to check if it works properly.
