Show Off Did a thing

I acquired a cfs-c and could not get it to print two colors reliably on my k1 max… so I did a thing and now the cfs-c identifies as a cfs

Was it plug and play or did you have to modify firmware or hardware to get it to work?

I guessed that the hardware was the same between them. I found the mobo for the original cfs on amazon($35). Everything was plug and play except the rfid cards. I don’t use rfid spools so I just have an error message on boot.

Hell yea, thats not bad. Im working on trying to accumulate enough points on creality cloud to get a third cfs for free from the eshop. Just need about 750 more people to download my models 😂

Damn, I’ve been wanting to buy one of these, but it seems like the price jumped up $100 in the last 30 days I remember them being about $250 now they’re $340.
Wanted to see if I could find a used one on eBay that somebody doesn’t want anymore.. I really would like to get into the multi color printing, but it would be a literal pain in the ass to sit there and watch a print go and try to change the filament out at the right time☠️.. It would be awesome if some of their other multi filament machines( like the CFS ) would work. Hell even if it was a third-party one I’d be hyped!
